I called for a locksmith to open my car after locking my keys inside. I was given a time to expect a technician. I waited an additional 35 minutes and still no one showed up. This company advertised a 15 minute dispatch. With a 15 minute dispatch, ample travel time plus 35 minutes I was still standing in the parking lot.

I spent $125 on that work. He was on time, thorough, professional and made sure to check and recheck the work. He was able to work on my old lock which was 70 years old and he was able to rekey them with no problem. He even came out on a Saturday and it was raining and I was impressed by that. He left me with several keys, which was helpful.

I called to get some house locks rekeyed. They said someone would be there within 15-20 min. One and a half hours later no one had come so I called back. They said they would call the technician to find out what was going on and call me right back. 20 minutes later I still hadn't heard from anyone, so I called and canceled. They gave no apology or explanation as to why they didn't show.

The people from A-1 Locksmiths come in even after hours. The person who came was really good. It was after 5 or 6 o’clock. This house had not been lived in for about 2 years when we bought it. The doors had not been opened and closed. They were out of balance. He balanced the locks and made them work. It was a last-minute call and he came after hours, so it was expensive. It costed about $100. He was fast and accurate. He said that we would probably have to take the doors off the hinges. I told him it could not be done that day and he agreed. He did not tell me that all I had to do was just the hinges. He should have known that. I think the price was high but then he came after hours. I called him very late but he came in anyway. I will not use him in future. Generally, the locksmiths come and take the door off the hinges, sand the bottom down and say that the locks will match. However, one particular carpenter came and told us that we did not have to do that. He said that we had some very expensive hinges. He said that the door could be controlled by tapping or loosening the top of the hinge.

I thought they were really good. They were very efficient, and friendly. Overall I was very happy with the work they had done.

I called A-1 Sunday morning, and they were able to schedule an appointment for 3pm the same day. The technician called 15 minutes prior to the appointment to let me know he was on his way, and he showed up right on time. It took him approximately 15 minutes to rekey two doors and give me 5 copies of the key. He was extremely nice and friendly.

Everything was fine. We could have taken the lock in and have it replaced, but I didn't want to have the house unlocked while we waited for the replacement to come in. He did a good job. He showed up on time. He was very professional. He didn't charge us for 2 visits because I wanted the Baldwin lock rather than the Sledge he had in the car. He brought the new one out for us in a couple of days. I don't know about the price because I didn't shop around.

I never ended up actually having them come over. I don't recall if they gave me a quote. I wanted to change the locks in my house. I don't think I had any complaints about them. I think we were not able to settle on a schedule. Their schedule was a little tight for the urgency that I wanted them for. That's why I ended up going with someone else. I don't remember their quote at all. Their price was pretty competitive. It was just the time manner and getting them out quick. I called them pretty late, so it was not their fault either. I wanted them to come the same evening versus the next day evening when they were willing to come.

Monday morning 9am - called their 972 number and it rang out - no answer, no voicemail. Called their 214 number, not a working number. Monday morning 10am - no answer, no voicemail. Perhaps they are no longer in business, perhaps the profile is old and outdated. Unsure. Will continue my search elsewhere.

I removed the cylinders of four deadbolt locks (I did not want the contractor coming to my home). I took the cylinders in to the shop to be re-keyed. They estimated that it would take about one hour, and they completed the work in about 45 minutes. They charged exactly what they said they would. While I was in the shop I asked some additional questions regarding locks and home security, which they answered completely. They were very professional and friendly.

The technicians were friendly, on time, and courteous. The company was professional enough to come over the next day for free, since they acknowledged that they didn't tell me that they needed the original keys in order to rekey the locks.

The job was done very well. Their price was fair.

The first time I called they set up an appointment for between 5PM and 8PM and never showed. The second time I called, they showed up on time. The guy was the same guy from the last time I called, and he had to repair the same lock he replaced 112 days ago (after informing me that they only provide a 90 day warranty). The other lock he re-keyed went fine. He did smell like a bar, though, which my kids were nice enough to point out to him.

I would say they are cheap fast and pleasant. I have used them before. A lot of the guys are veterans and I like to give them our business. The locks work perfectly and they make extra keys. They are all around good at what they do.

Everyone I dealt with was prompt and professional. I would definitely use them again.

A1 was responsive and creative in finding a replacement that would work. Phone calls were returned promptly and in a friendly manner. The new lock is functional and a good match to the door and frame.

I (HOPEFULLY) WILL NEVER LOSE MY KEYS AGAIN, BUT IF I EVER DO, I KNOW WHERE TO GO BACK TO. THEY WERE PROMPT AND FRIENDLY. THEY MAKE BETTER KEYS THAN ANOTHER STORE I HAVE USED.

THE PRICE WAS GOOD AND THEY WERE THERE QUICKLY.

THE LOCKSMITH RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY ON RECEIVING OUR SERVICE CALL. HE WAS ACCOMMODATING AND CAME DURING THE LUNCH HOUR WHEN WE HAD NO APPOINTMENTS SCHEDULED IN THE OFFICE.
