Mr. Rekey Locksmith of Austin

I contacted Mr. ReKey this morning for keyless deadbolt instillation and was able to set up an appointment for later in the afternoon. There was a delay in the arrival of the locksmith, past the time frame originally given, however there was excellent communication as to why he would be late and an updated estimated time of arrival. Oren was polite, professional, and worked quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up after himself and the instillation was accomplished in a timely manner. I will definitely be utilizing this company again and appreciate each aspect of the service provided. I highly recommend Mr. ReKey!

It went great! Cris called about 20 minutes from his anticipated arrival time. He checked all the locks for the house and discovered that two of the locks did not have matching keys. Consequently he was unable to rekey these two locks. Cris showed us how to do it ourselves and made a recommendation for which locks to purchase so that we could rekey the two locks ourselves (instead of telling us to buy new locks and call him out again). Cris was very professional and helpful; I would highly recommend Cris & Mr. Rekey.

Chris arrived on time, calling about 20 minutes out. He was extremely professional and offered suggestions that actually saved us money. There was absolutely no concern with him working in our home. After completion, Chris tested each key twice, The office staff was also extremely helpful. The cost was substantially less than another company charged a friend with less locks about 2 miles away. I contacted the office and told them of the great job he did and to please put him down as the person we want to use again if we re-key or break locks in the future. 5 stars!

Ernie & Mike were on time & went to work right away. They vacuumed all the wood shavings & all sawdust on the doors. I definitely give them an A plus in all areas. I give MR. Chris arrived promptly and called to say he was on his way. He was very friendly, professional, and courteous. He explained everything he was doing and all of his work was done well and door work now where before the lock would not work and difficult to open the front door. He did a great job and I highly recommend Chris with Mr. Rekey.

Mike came on time. He was friendly.

Everything was done in a timely manner. However, the first time I had them out, they failed to notice that one of the doors in the house I moved into needed a key.

They were pretty prompt and professional.

They were very good. I like that we didn’t have to replace the entire doorknob and that they give so many keys for free. They were also very fast and did everything on site.

Called in the morning (around 9am) for rekey service and was able to get a 2-hour window between 10am and 12pm. Locksmith called 15 minutes prior to arrival and arrived at 11am. The job took about 40 minutes to complete. Very professional and cost effective!

The locks on our house were apparently older than our new home (the former owners were so weird) and it took some extra work to get our locks re-keyed. But, he did it!

The technician re-keyed all of the locks on my doors and was very respectful and courteous. He re-keyed all doors in a very timely manner and was very pleasant to talk to. I had forgotten that I was to receive a 10% discount for being an Angie's list member and the technician took the time to come back to my house to let me know that he overcharged me. It is extremely difficult to find honest people and I am not sure if I would have ever caught the error. I have total respect for this technician and appreciate his honesty and kindness. He also took the time out to look at my garage doors to offer some advice on how to repair the crack in them. We even discussed the brakes on my car and he suggested places for me to take the car for service. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service and again, I cannot emphasize enough how much his honesty is appreciated. I definitely recommend Mr. Rekey for anyone who is in need of a locksmith.

I called in the morning for a quote and then made an appointment for the afternoon. Not only were they able to accommodate us with same day service, when my husband ran into potential scheduling issues due to work, he talked to the locksmith directly and was able to nail down a specific arrival time rather than having to wait for a 2 hour window. We had planned on replacing the locks so they all used the same key, but the locksmith explained that that a different lock would have to be used on one of the doors. It was still the same price for the rekey. We got all the keys we needed and the service was quick and professional. If I could rate them an A+, I would. I wish all service providers were this prompt and attentive.

They were punctual and professional. Very understanding when I was unable to locate original keys. I had just moved in and the place was a sea of boxes , packing material and things needing to be put away. They worked around all the chaos. They cleaned up their work mess. Thank you Mike & Ernie

Jonathan called to let me know he was on the way. He rekeyed the doors and made 4 copies of the new keys. He was very nice and professional. If I ever get locked out, I will call him.

I called for an appointment in the morning and locksmith came in the afternoon. This was very convenient for me. Locksmith changed the knob and lock quickly. Very happy with my experience with this company and thought price was fair.

Wonderful to work with on the phone, and when the technician was delayed at a previous job, they actually called me to let me know the new arrival time and see if that was still convenient for me. The technician was very fast and great to work with. I was very impressed. Wish everyone I worked with was this professional.

He was quick, efficient, and we haven't had any problems since. Highly recommended, and fairly priced. Kind technicians as well! We plan on replacing other faulty door knobs in the building and will call Mr. Rekey. At one point he thought he had fixed it and started to right my invoice, but we realized there was still a problem... so he tore up the invoice and fixed the issue in minutes. Great deals on getting good quality key copies made too.

We just purchased a new home and needed to get all of the locks rekeyed. I called Mr. Rekey and was able to get an appointment the next day. Jake came out and rekeyed the 4 locks very quickly. He was extremely polite and courteous. I had a great experience with Mr. Rekey and will definitely be using them in the future.
