Whole process went smoothly. Called on Wednesday afternoon for a re-key service. Texas Re-key had openings for the next day, but I pushed it out to Friday because of my day off. They came at 10am and were complete an hour later. They were able to take payment at the house with the installer. Keys work better than before.

The overall experience was good and I would use them again if needed in the future.

He arrived and went straight to work. It only took him about 20 minutes to finish the job.

They called and let me know they were on the way, showed up and explained exactly what they were going to do and verified that this is what I wanted. Then they went to work! Did a great job, kept everything tidy, scratched my dog's tummy and went on their way. A few minutes later returned to say that I was entitled to a discount and redid the bill. Great!

I have used this company several times over the past ten years to change the locks on my rental property, and have always been very pleased with their work. This job was no exception. I was able to schedule the service call online, which is a great convenience. They schedule in four hour segments. I chose 1 - 5 p.m. I got a call at 10:30 a.m. letting me know they could come then if I was available, which I was not, but appreciated very much the opportunity. They understood and showed up at my house at approximately 1:30 p.m., did the work, I paid them and they went on their way. The man who performed the service was courteous, quick and thorough. All the locks work perfectly. This is the only company I have used for this type of work, and I can't imagine why I would try another. The results have always ben the same -- excellent.

The technician was on-time. He was friendly and worked very carefully.

I requested service via e-mail the weekend before and selected the Fri afternoon time slot. Andy called Friday morning to confirm the location of our house and offered to come early if we were available. Andy rekeyed the locks for us that afternoon and was very professional and diligent in his manner and work. However, one of the locks was not reinstalled correctly. I called the next day, Saturday, to let him know and he came back that afternoon to fix the lockset, did a bit of additional work (which I offered to pay for) and did not charge me. Overall, I'm very happy with his work and would use Texas Rekey again.

Excellent work. Old doors but worker installed deadbolts very well. They closed tight when locked. One door involved cutting around trim to install deadbolt and he did that well. All doors function well with new key. Prompt, efficient, professional work. Most impressed by the price. Almost 1/2 of what other, closer (Pflugerville), companies were quoting. I had to reschedule the first appt. and Rekey was able to fit me in only a day later. I would definitely use them again.

I needed six locks changed after moving into my house. I have two brands of locks (Schlage and Kwickset) and wanted one key for all. Unfortunately, I was not able to mix the types of locks using only one key, but the locksmith was able to get me one key for each lock type. I also had a padlock removed where I didn't have the key. Very professional, fast and courteous service.

Andy called 30 minutes before my appointment time which was perfect because I was available. He showed up and did all the above work efficiently and perfectly. This company has a top Angie's List rating because they're good!! My realtor had told me to call them even before I checked Angie's List. Definitely would use them anytime I need a locksmith in the future!!

The experience was fine. The guy was good. He came in and fixed it. He gave us some extra keys. It was a little expensive. He was friendly and very professional. He came right away.

The guy showed up exactly on time and went straight to work. I tested each key and barrel when he was done, and found the action on one of the doors a bit rough. I asked if he could make it a bit smoother, to which he replied "of course." My appointment was in the middle of the day and I'm sure he had a number of other jobs after mine, but he was willing to stay as long as it took to make sure I was happy with his work. The work was done with the right attitude at the right price; I'll use them for all of my properties.

The girl at the store told us they could match the locks to the other medal on the doors. They are very accommodating and helpful.. The locksmith was sort of slow.

I called to schedule the service and made an appointment for the next day. They were very accommodating with my schedule and gave me a two hour window with a one hour call ahead. The day of the appointment, the tech called and said he could show up early, but I was unable to get back to my house in time. Fifteen minutes after getting home a new tech (James) arrived and was done in 10-15 minutes. He was very professional and I would definitely use them again. The service was 59.99 with a 5 dollar tip.

Great service, they actually call when they say they will and give you a half hour or so to get home to meet them. Easy to work with.
