Mr. Rekey Locksmith of Austin

We needed the locks rekeyed in a house we purchased. It is an older home and I fully expeced to have to replace the hardware to have new keys. The technician came prepared to do so, however, he recommended that we simply rekey the existing hardware to a new key. He tightened everything and made sure the doors, locks and keys operate as they are supposed to. We now only need one key for all the doors and everything works perfectly. The technician was courteous and professional. The service representative I spoke woth on the phone to set up the appointment was friendly and easy to work with. I would use them again.

It was a job well done. He even brought a small vac to clean up the wood chips from the drilled holes. The price is market rate.

Arrived punctually, was respectful, was focused on completing the work, tested keys with us and left - all in about 30 minutes.

I found Texas Rekey on Angies list and Yelp. Both had great reviews so I went to the website and scheduled my appointment that was convienient for me. A very nice lady called to confirm wiht me my appointment time and then Richard showed up on time. He was very professional and friendly. Explained the process and rekeyed the locks. The price was very resonable and we recieved a discount just by mentioning Angies List. We would hire again! And we would recommend!

We'd had a handyman repair/replace several locks but none worked quite right. Re-Key came, fixed the problems, explained choices they had to make when it wasn't straightforward and, within about an hour and a half left. Everything worked. Great job; very nice guys.

They were great on the phone, courteous, offered to make all the arrangements with my tenants, sent me a copy of the receipt via email and made the process as smooth as it could possibly be from 1200 miles away.

Call center was friendly and was able to schedule an appt for the same day, in the afternoon. The Technician tried to come a couple of hours early, but I wasn't able to make it home to accommodate. When I made it home for the appt, I called the call center back to verify they were coming, and received friendly service again. The tech arrived on time, was very friendly and did the work as promised with no "hard upsell". I was very pleased and would use them again.

Richard called to telll me he was on the way and he showed up on time. He removed the 5 locks, took them to his truck and rekeyed them and reinstalled the locks. He worked fast and was very professional. I would definitely use this company again.

Burt was friendly and called when he was running late to let me know. He called again when he was 15 minutes away. He was professional, gave me several options and made recommendations so that I could bring my property up to the requirements of my rental agreement while also saving a few dollars. He was also very accommodating and offered to come back at no additional charge if I didn't have time to finish the work that day. He also went above and beyond to fix a striking plate issue he noticed, without my prompting. I would highly recommend them, they have the best price in town and do a great job.

They were terrific on the phone - pleasant and professional. The locksmith called 15 minutes before coming, was on time, got right to work, and completed the job quickly. Great price too. My only issue was that it was pouring rain and he parked across half of my driveway makiing it hard to get one car out and impossible to move the other one (one car had to leave when he was here). When I mentioned that I might need him to move his car he said that he hadn't blocked me in, and was a bit short about it. He later apologized when he saw me maneuvering my car around his truck.

Overall, the project went very well from the first contact to my second call for a lock on a cabinet.

First of all, they don't normally come on Saturday, but made an exception (graciously) for us. They assured me the technician would call my cell prior to coming so I wouldn't be tied to the house. Cody called, was there within 15 minutes, completed all the services requested promptly and courteously. It was an overall excellent customer service experience. I would absolutely recommend them.

OK. Techs did not have exactly what I was looking for but did come up with reasonable substitutes.

The service, professionalism, knowledge, and quality of work is outstanding. The price was very reasonable and I got an Angie's List discount. This company also does overhead door repairs and I will definitely use them in the future. I highly recommend this company and in particular the technician, Andy.

He was on time, courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable, and after he had replaced the locks, he asked if there was anything else I needed. When I asked him to rekey one of the locks to match the others, he did so. I felt that the price was very fair and reasonable.

They did a good job and were a little bit less expensive. They were able to come out the same day I called. The person who came volunteered to re-key a storm glass door with a special key which I thought was not possible. I thought that was special. He was not on time. I would use them again.

The work was done quickly and competently. The first six house locks were included in the service call, the seventh was an additional $10 and they provided four keys (all the locks were keyed the same). The garage doors needed new locks, which was an additional charge, but I was happy with the total bill. I actually saved over $100 choosing them over another major locksmith service. I would use them again.

Texas Re-Key was great about fitting me in their schedule after I came home to find that my house had been robbed. Even though they were booked and it was close to 5:00, they had a representative at my house within 2 hours. They were able to change all of my locks that night. Then, we scheduled an appointment to have additional locks installed on all of my doors. The representative was polite, had a Texas Re-Key shirt identifying him as a locksmith, and cleaned-up the dust left by installing the additional locks.
