Description of Work: My old oven did not heat up. Mr. Appliance showed up as agreed upon and inspected the oven. He quickly determined that the temperature control was broken and this oven was so old that parts were not available, and thus the oven was not repairable. I bought a new oven.

Description of Work: They replaced a spring on my samsung washer. They only replaced one spring, and the cost seemed high. The service representative was kind and checked to make sure the washer was functioning well before leaving.

Description of Work: They were not able to find root cause of the problem with my refrigerator.

Description of Work: The service man came and less than 5 minutes he told me that my washing machine needs major repair which will cost me more than $500 to $700. I said that too much. I can buy new washing machine. He said it's my choice. He said I owe him service charge of $99 which I paid. I asked for some break and he said nothing he can do. Anyway, I send e-mail to get a break on issue. No common courtesy to return my e-mail request. I relied upon your list. I am so upset, I would like to cancel my membership with you guys too. Please let me know my option. Of course please cancel my membership now! Thanks, Firoj

Description of Work: I called for repair on dishwasher, refrigerator and washing machine. Did not repair any of 3. Eventually had part to repair dishwasher but did not screw it back in under cabinet. After returning and misdiagnosed fridge, I figured it out and repaired it myself and found another company for washing machine.

Description of Work: I ask for professional plumber for 3 tasks. Sent handy man, not a plumber, who sent me to get parts for him, did have skill to do the jobs, left on his own with job unfinished

Description of Work: We had a broken dishwasher and bought a deal for this provider through Angie's list. By phone, they said repairman would check out what was wrong and give us a quote before repairing it. Instead, he just repaired and then charged us. It came out to a total of $265 (with service call fee) for cleaning the filter, even though this required no parts and the repairman was at our house for only 30 minutes. This didn't fix the dishwasher. At all. When he came back, he quoted us another $200 to replace motor. When I complained, he agreed to refund the price for the filter cleaning, so we only paid the service call. I found another repair service that fixed the dishwasher for $100 less (including service call fee, which it turns out MOST companies will apply to work). While the Mr. Appliance repairman was polite and did respond to my complaint, I found the company to be overpriced and not very ethical in their business practices. I strongly recommend people find another repair service.

Description of Work: Dell replaced a motor and a capacitor in our washing machine. He had to come out twice because parts had to be ordered. He was knowledgeable, worked efficiently, and explained what he was doing so that a lay person like me could easily understand why the machine wasn't working and what it needed. He came on time and always called to notify me of his ETA.

Description of Work: I paid $89 to have a very good and professional person tell me the motor is bad. The service literally took less than a minute. Although it was not Mr. Appliance's fault, this problem seemed like it could have been diagnosed over the phone which the office people were not able to do (and I did ask).

Description of Work: Fixed glass in oven door. They were very good. A little confusion with the Angie's list coupon & how to apply it, but they were cheerful, and got it taken care of. They were all super nice to work with.
