I've used them multiple times and I've had great experiences with them. They come out very promptly and do the job for the amount they say they're going do it. I think they have a year warranty on the work they do. I'm really pleased with them. They're very professional, reliable, and honest. They've come out and repaired various things for me over the years and I've never had to call them back because the repair didn't work. They've been consistently good and they usually send somebody within 24 hours.

They are on time, which is very important to me. If I have a question about something else, they never have a problem saying I think you should make a call or it’s not that big a deal, they can do it themselves. They are always open to that. They have been here quite a few times. They come in uniform.

It has been a good experience. I've used them several times for different things and they have always been courteous and polite and taken care of us. It didn't take long and I was able to dry my clothes. Every time they've been here, they have fixed what was broken. They have always been neat and clean. If they made a mess, they cleaned it up. They were thoughtful of my house.

I have had very good experience with Mr. Appliance of Austin. It was a normal service call which was about the same as other dealers would charge. The service call was prompt, they did the service that was required and the quality was good. It took several days for us to be able to get an appointment. They responded but they were unable to provide the service except it would be about two to three days before they could schedule their service.

Our expensive dishwasher broke down 2 weeks ago after seven years and leaked water all over our kitchen. We had to call someone and K&N referred us to Mr. Appliance. The guy came and was very nice. He said we needed a "flood float." Since it was flooding our kitchen, that made sense. BUT after him talking to his office (VERY IMPORTANT--I FOUND OUT THEY HAVE NO SUPERVISORS THERE. THESE GUYS ARE COMPLETELY ON THEIR OWN) it would take **3 weeks** for the part to get in. So then I called the Miele corporate part department, and it turns out the reason for the delay was the need for the brackets of said part to make their way to the US from Germany. I then called Mr. A and asked them if they really needed the brackets or just the part. They called the tech who said no, just needed the part (uh, Mr A, why did you not investigate this?). So I paid Miele directly with an additional $26 for early FED EX delivery. Mr A came two days later. He put the part in and left, after charging me $177 for a visit sans parts since I bought them directly from Miele rather than wait 3 weeks. It was a disaster. Somehow, he calibrated the door such that it slammed shut and would have taken off a hand or broken dishes. Within 30 minutes after he left I called him on his cell and he said he would be back. He no showed. I also tried to run the dishwasher on every cycle that night and it died within 2 minutes. On every conceivable cycle. I called Mr. A the next morning (Friday) and they said that my original tech could be there the following Tues or Wed. Mind you, we have now been broken down for about 10 days. I told them that it was UNACCEPTABLE and asked to speak to a manager. That is when I found out they have no managers. There is no one in charge but the owner. They then told me that they would try to "fit me in" with another tech. The other tech to his credit showed up about 3:00. He told me my motor was shot and that all the nonsense and waiting for a "flood float" part was a waste of money and time. He commented that the tech that came did not have training on high end appliances and was likely intimidated by working on Miele. We would need a new motor for about $1,100. I have since looked into Miele products and they have a huge problem with service. Your choices in Austin are one tech or Mr. A who is untrained in Miele. So. Here we are today with no dishwasher which we are putting out for bulky trash week. I have a separate post on Miele products in general. Keep your money in your purse/wallet.
Description of Work: This is a very long story that also casts shadows on Miele dishwashers in general and their service. I would say there is blame enough to go around. Mr Appliance is the only service contractor for Miele dishwashers in Austin, so if you buy them you get what you get. Miele will tell you that you should exclusively use their technicians and they have ONE for the Austin area. So if you buy an over the top expensive Miele product you are essentially screwed if it breaks down. My guess is no one with any integrity will deal with Miele and they are left with Mr. Appliance who has no earthly idea on how to fix these appliances. But Miele Corp will tell you only to deal with them and their ONE TECH in Austin.

They did not have the part even though the problem was described in detail before the appointment. They could have anticipated the issue and been prepared. They were a no show no call until after the fact. Would not use them again.

We have had two other professionals come out to try and determine why our convection oven will not heat in the convection setting, only in the general setting. One said he located the problem, ordered the part, but never called or came by again. Second one came and looked at it, promised to come by two days later, but never showed up. Mr. Appliance took our call, made an appointment for the following Monday, and sent an email to confirm, also gave us the name of the repairman who would be coming. We had a call 15 minutes ahead of when he arrived. He came in, checked the oven thoroughly and finally determined what the problem was. He located the part, is having it shipped to us directly and is scheduled to return within a couple of days to install it. He could not have been more professional, and we are very pleased with the service. As we are putting our home on the market, we had to get the oven repaired, and quickly.

One, they replaced a water pump in clothes dryer. But this took a second visit because they did not have a pump with them. So the second call added un neccessarily to the cost which was about $560.00 for pump and labor and 2 visits| Secondjob, they assessed the poor spinning of the washer and figured a new computer board at over $550.00. There was no additional charge for this call as it came under their guarantee. I elected to buy a new machine. Apart from the cost of the first job, I have nothing but praise for the company and the man who performed the work.

Had two repairs. Miele in wall coffee maker they were excellent. Miele tech said I needed a new $4000 unit. Mister fixed for a tenth that amount and working great. Subzero ice maker repair was more complex and took several visits. But finally fixed and making nice clear ice. Always very professional and knew their stuff.

Mr. Appliance workman came to fix my gas dryer. He took apart the cover to run the dryer however could not turn the gas valve on (the previous plummer had tightened it) and was reluctant to push it. Work was put on hold until I could get the valve replaced, however I was told that the 85$ initial charge would not be charged again if work commenced w/in the month. The gas valve was replaced (seperate call to Economy Plumbing - check them out) and Mr. Appliance came back the next week. They called when in the neighborhood giving me a 20 min "heads-up" and showed up, fixed the dryer. Worker was very professional and pleasant, explaining his process of replacing a part (they actually didn't have a spare part however took a short detour to Home Depot to pick one up). Would definitly use them again

They quickly detected the problem and recommended a repair. It was painless and cost-effective. Honestly, I can't at this moment remember the exact charge, and $250 seems high. Whatever it was, it seemed fair and I agreed immediately. Laundry is not a luxury... I would recommend them any time for any sort of major appliance diagnosis and repair. They had been out a few years earlier to diagnose a problem with my dryer. They clearly found the problem, and honestly recommended that we replace it, as the cost of the repair would have been comparable to the cost of a new dryer. I appreciated their honesty at the time and so felt good calling them again. They will be my first call when appliances go on the fritz.
Description of Work: Mr. Appliance diagnosed and repaired a problem with my washing machine. It was not a major problem, but I could not diagnose it. They were prompt, clear and courteous. I love that they wear shoe liners in the house and clean up after themselves meticulously.

read above, this company, MR APPLIANCE, goes beyond the call. From the first call, the call center was polite, and sincere.
Description of Work: Richard Goertz, came to balance my washer after a horrible move by a slack moving company. Richard took the problem in hand, FIXED. RECALL electronics were not communicating, FIXED, no charge. Had to call him back as a hose had slipped off, FIXED. All this done with the original $89.00 service fee. I have Mr Appliance scheduled to repair a gas range in my old house, in preparation of sale. I will get the same GREAT SERVICE again.

I called them on Friday, they scheduled a visit for Saturday morning. The repairman called on his way, showed up on time, was very courteous, put booties on in the house. I was quoted $89.00 for the diagnostic visit. The replacement part for the washer was very expensive (over$400), so the repairman suggested an alternative of removing the broken part and using a finger or a pencil to press the start button on the control panel. I appreciated his candor and agreed to this solution. Because he had removed the part to diagnose the problem, I was surprised when the total charge for his visit was almost $180 including tax. First off, I was surprised at the total. Secondly the bill is not itemized so I don't know what I was charged $70-$80 additional for if there were no parts and the unit had to be disassembled and reassembled for the diagnostic. I didn't realize that sales tax is charged for service only, although that's not a Mr Appliance issue. Bottom line is my washer is working again and it didn't cost over $400, but I'm not sure why it cost what it did.
