METRO SERVICES INC

We were assigned this company for a warranty repair on our garbage disposal. I called to make an appointment and they were out the next morning. I was given a 4 hour window with the promise of a call prior to service man arrival. I received just that from a gentleman that i was a little concerned from the sound of his voice. He arrived and while not professional in appearance (or smell- strong cigarette smell), he was the most kind man. He observed the problem and explained that he was going to give me a lesson in garbage disposal 101. He explained that it was a simple fix that he hated to have to charge me for. Sure enough, it was something I should have been able to do on my own but now I know for future reference as he explained it to me from start to finish even leaving me with the tool that I could use the next time the problem happens. He was kind and I appreciated his knowledge. He also gave me his thoughts on another problem that we are having although it was not something that was listed on the workorder. I will recommend this company in the future.

Our home repair insurance that came with our new home sent out Metro Services when we discovered we had a large leak somewhere in our house. There was no noise coming from any toilet or pipes so the plumber had to start outside, check the main, and then came inside. Apparently the previous owners had left a leaking toilet go so long that it no longer made any noise, just ran constantly. The plumber replaced more than just what was required to make sure everything was new and we would not have this problem again any time soon.
