I had an issue with the spa and the spa guys said the problem was due to the wiring. Klock helped me work through the issue with the spa guys by coming back out to the house twice and talking with the spa guys on the phone and confirming it was not a wiring but a spa problem.

Work was performed in a timely manner and as the system has not been tested I cannot commit on the surge protector. The work to install was quick and neat.

Greg and an employee arrived on time and started to work immediately. He explained everything in detail and accomplished the work in no time flat. I would recommend him to any one!!!

I called and spoke to Greg Klock to schedule an estimate to upgrade our service. He went into great detail about how I probably didn't need what my husband was wanting, which I can appreciate, but agreed to come out to give us an estimate. I called back later to reconfirm the time for the visit. He never returned my call nor did he ever show up or call to advise he wasn't coming. Guess he really wasn't interested in doing the work.

Spectacular experience! Discovered Klock through Angie's List and read their great reviews. I visited their website and contacted them via their website, including my itemized service requests. Greg contacted me promptly, gave me an estimate and we scheduled the work for the same week! Klock employees arrived and performed the work quickly, without mess or error. They were very friendly, helpful with our questions, - and patient with an inquisitive 5 year-old. :) We will definitely use this company again. We are very appreciative of their customer-driven attitude and service.

The tech showed up on time, he was professional, did his work quickly, and cleaned up the area after the work was completed. Great service!

We used this company to complete major electrical upgrades in our new house. Greg Klock, the owner, completed a walk through with us and provided information and suggestions on the work required. Greg and his team worked with our other contractors to ensure the project proceeded in a timely manner - including working on weekends. Greg is very knowledgable about electrical work for renovations, as is entire team. He was readily available and either returned a call or visited the house as soon as possible. As usual with renovations, we made several changes to our plans, but that was not a problem. Excellent experience.

The crew was on time, really courteous and pleasant. We discusssed the 6 different items that needed looking at and they went right to it. The outdoor lights were particularly difficult to troubleshoot, but they remained persistent, resolved the issues and tested everything thoroughly when completed. Totally would hire these guys again and if asked, would recommend them to anyone in the Austin area.

We went from having no outdoor lights in our front yard as none of them were working to having a main light at the steps, small lighting along the front driveway, lights at the mailbox, and all are programmable to come on and go off when we want them to. We would definitely use Klock again.

The dimmers that they upgraded. They are worth their expense. I have only good things to say about Klock. They are professional, courteous, and prompt. They are really good. I would highly recomend them to anyone who needs electric work done.

Greg arrived on time for the estimate. The installer arrived on time, did a great job (clearly knew what he was doing), and cleaned up the area where he was working.

I had a great experience with Klock Electric. I hired them to install under cabinet lighting in my kitchen with a dimmer switch and it turned out fantastic. They were very responsive and professional and were such a pleasure to work with. I liked them so much that I hired them a week later to replace the electrical box. :) I highly recommend Klock Electric.

Initially, I contacted Klock's Electric via e-mail after getting the contact info from Angie's list. Greg responded to me right away, and we scheduled a quick and quot;walkthrough.and quot; He came on time, and shared a lot of ideas. I received a detailed and itemized estimates along with the options. Using the line item estimates, we were able to schedule the work in two batches. Paying for the services was not a hassle at all as he never deviated from the estimates, and in one task, he even lowered the actual charge from the estimate.

Almost perfect -- came on time, were good to work with. I had asked for one item that [apparently inadvertently] was omitted from bid. Added item for reasonable charge. When that night we discovered activity had cut off light in room above crawl space, came back without charge the next day to restore service to that light.

On the first phone query, Greg Klock stated $75. per can installed (ends up to be $90.) He insisted on coming out and made a bid of $675. for 2 LED cans (I bought the LEDs), and he supply the 4 - 50 watt Halogen's w/mounts, the ceiling fan re-mounted with metal bracket, and a shower light, with me supplying the shower can. I originally only wanted 4 LEDs in the center ceiling box, but he suggested 2 LEDs in the center and the 4 - 50 watt halogens on each side. He suggested that I use my bedsheets to cover over the kitchen counters -- like I want popcorn and insulation dust embedded in my bedsheets no matter how much they're washed. So I started prepping the kitchen myself with painter's plastic and tape before he came. I was half done when he started to scrape on the popcorn and hole poking for the can positions. He said he could put the 2 different banks of lights on two separate switches, no problem. Make sure to get a WRITTEN ESTIMATE with everything on it. When his worker started installing the 2 cans for the LEDs, they could not be centered due to A/C duct placement in the attic, so I had to go out buy two more LEDs for a total of 4 in the recessed ceiling box. Looked better and what I really wanted anyway. He acted like I misremembered and that all the kitchen lights were to go on the same circuit and the on/off switch. I asked him for a new estimate for the additional switches/dimmers, can holes and installation, but he said not to worry about it. You need to WORRY ABOUT IT, unless you have an unlimited budget. The work was fine, but he added $50. to the bill for the extra switch leg, plus $18. for 2 dimmers. It ended with me buying 4 LEDs and him doing 8 can holes/can holders and the 4-Halogen's w/mounts. That was $728. for the 8, if you want them on two switches with dimmers. Maybe other electricians would have charged as much or more. All I know is, the next electrician I'll get an estimate in writing on anything more than a ceiling fan and shower light install. This way, no surprises and a more professional way to operate also. I went to go get the 2 extra LEDs at noon, Greg Klock left and never returned. I came back the with the LEDs and Chick-Fila's for them both. He worked out the invoice on the phone with his worker. Did not call to see if the job was satisfactory. No, and quot;Thank you for your businessand quot;, nothing. And I was certainly a most helpful, appreciative and understanding customer.

Someone answered the call immediately as opposed to dropping to voice mail as with other electricians I tried contacting. They were polite and professional. Responded in a timely manner and was here at the set appointment time. The service technician was very nice, explained what he was doing and why and what went wrong and why.

Great service with courteous workers. The cost of my long list of projects was very reasonable and the quality of work done was very good. They were able to install lights in places I was not sure it would be possible. I was thrilled with my experience and have recommended them to neighbors and friends. Thanks everybody.

I called on Thursday to see if an electrician was available the next day (Friday). Spoke with Greg Klock. He informed me that he was available and would be at my house between 9am and 10am the following day. My wife took a day off work to be available to let them in the house. The following day, no one had showed up and no phone call. About 10:15am, I called and left a message for Mr Klock that it was after the appointed time and no one had shown up and no one had had even bothered to give us a phone call explaining what had happened. He called back about 10 minutes later and said that he was busy on another job. He told me that he could be finished up with the previous job and at my house with in 30-40 minutes. I agreed if he could be there before 11am. Another technician (someone other than Mr Klock) showed up at the house before 11am. He was able to locate the problem and resolve it in under an hour. I understand that sometimes jobs run longer than expected but when you tell someone you will be somewhere at a designated time and you don't show up or even call to tell them that you are running late, this gives me the feeling that he does not want my business.

Mr. Klock came out and gave a very reasonable estimate. Because of his rating on Angie's List, I chose him to do the work. Electrician arrived at promised time. Mr. Klock came out about half-way through the job and asked if everything was going well. Electrician and I replied yes. Mr. Klock and his electrician were both very polite and professional. I will certainly call him for any electrical work in the future.

We just bought an older home in Austin and intend to rent it out a few monthes. In order to do that we needed a few electrical updates done to the house. Greg showed up on time and gave us an estimate. He was very helpful in suggesting upgrades to get the house up to code such as adding GFI outlets and some other grounding issues. He was also very good about advising against things that didnt need to be done and were a waste of money. The crew came out the next day on time and completed thw work. Turns out the estimate included more GFIs than were necessary and the whole job cost less than the estimate. We were very pleased with the service this company provided and will not hesitate to call them again when we need them
