Were very punctual to time expected. Ran 50A service from outdoor load center 80 ft to a garage car charger. Only took them two hours (but a fairly easy job thru walk-in attic and walls). Checked their work afterwards and everything looks clean. Friendly crew, checked code to be sure of wire gauge for run length. Would hire again!

I'm a first-time customer. The electrician showed up on time and was very friendly. He got down to business and finished the job in a very short amount of time. The bill was very reasonable. I am super pleased, and will definitely remember to call on Klocks again.

Klock added several outlets in our study. This was a small job but I have hired them in the past to install recessed lighting, add light switches, move outlets, etc. The guys they send to do the job have always been very professional, very polite, and a pleasure to work with. The cost of the recessed lighting was half of what another electrician had estimated. I would not hire anyone else to do our electric job

Contacted Klock Electrical by email with symptoms of issue that I was having. Electrical power had been shutoff to house four times in last five weeks. Resetting master circuit breaker restored power each time. I guessed that the master circuit breaker needed to be replaced since I heard that they fail after 25 to 30 years. Klock electrician agreed. However, they were very busy and the earliest they could have someone come out to the house was in a couple of weeks. They asked me to take some pictures of the breaker so that they could tell what type it was and they also said that I would need to coordinate with the electrical company (PEC) to have the power shutoff when they came out. I called PEC to arrange a time and communicated the time to Klocks. The scheduled time was two weeks out. One minute before the scheduled time PEC electrician called and said they could not make it and wanted to reschedule. Klock electrician arrived one minute later at scheduled time and we call the PEC electrician back. Klock electrician replaced the circuit breaker without power being shutoff. He showed me how corroded the breaker was and explained that the breaker was probably corroded inside as well. The Klock electrician, Rey, was excellent to work with and very personable. Price was also lower than I expected.

My what a difference a few years makes. Klock was always my go-to contractor who I recommended to everybody but after a recent, extra costly experience, never again. I had Ray out to give me an estimate to install a few flood lights and some exterior lights on the face of my home to include both switches and sensors to come on automatically. I had my request written out when he came so there was no ambiguity. I told him that I didn't want to move forward unless it was possible to install these lights without damage to the brick on my 1968 home (since it would be nearly impossible to fix) and he assured me that they could cut sheetrock inside for the installation, which could then be easily patched. The day of the install I had all my pictures taken down inside my house so they could cut the sheet rock. I'm coming in from the back yard when what do I hear, a sledgehammer literally smashing out the brick on the face of my house. Too late to change it . . . it was already done. They set some junction boxes and smear mortar all over the face of my house before telling me that it's all been more work than they expected and the price that was a set project fee is now going to go up. Super unethical as the work description never changed on my part. They come back a week later and put the lights up and leave. When I get a closer look, there's gaping holes where my brick was knocked out all around the lights. Two of the four fixtures are literally so loosely attached to the front of my house that they're hanging off. Three of the four come on, but don't work on the switch and one doesn't come on at all. I'm heartbroken about the state of my home. They come out 3 more times and finally get the lights functioning but there's still big holes in my brick. Additionally, the back flood light in my yard is no longer working. I'm unsure if they cut the cable or if the same voltage they sent through the house that blew out the photocell earlier in the week blew out this one too. I have used Klock for years, to the tune of thousands of dollars for interior work and have never had an experience quite like this. I called Jesse, one of the owners/managers and left messages over the course of 3 days to discuss these issues and never heard back. The last technician that came out said to expect a call the following Monday, but nothing. So here I'm left with an aesthetically destroyed front of my house, a flood light that I am going to have to pay to have fixed in my back yard, and an estimate for a thousand dollars or so of masonry work to fix the damage that Klock caused. This is unacceptable and quite honestly, I'm considering my options for recouping monies for the damage. Take your business elsewhere.

It went perfect. Zach called 30 minutes before arriving so that I could meet him at the house. I walked him through what I wanted done and provided feedback to me on ways to solve some of the issues that we were having. He diagnosed each problem area, identified what was needed, retrieved the parts he needed and got to work. Everything works and the installation looks good in all regards. I am very happy with the service and will use them again in the future.

They were punctual, worked fast and did great work. I think my favorite part of the experience was a phone discussion I had with the owner about an unrelated issue with a garbage disposal that was not working. He gave me a recommendation on how to easily fix it myself. It worked, and he saved me about $150.

I am very pleased with the service they provided. Two gentlemen came the same day I called and got to work right away. We have a slanted ceiling and the new light/fan didn't have the right base. So one of them stayed to assemble the new light/fan, and the other one went to Home Depot and found just the part we needed, and made a point to get a nickel-finished base that matched the light/fan perfectly. They finished up the job and even offered to vacuum the floor. They were both very polite and I felt they went above and beyond the call. Not to mention that the price was very reasonable in comparison to the other quotes I got. We have a few other light/fans that we need to replace and if we do, I will definitely be calling these guys back. Thank you!

Bid was either 3200 or 3600 for moving a service and upgrading a pannel and running cable to sub panel Service electricians were knowledgeable and nice. Showed up on time. Would have had them do the work but spoke to the owner twice and he never called back. Took it as a sign of things to come. Guess they didn't want my buisness Bid was too high in my opinion. Going with a lower bid. Work has not been done yet

Wonderful! Jessie and his partner came in and removed the old light fixtures. I had a repair man come in and repair and paint the ceilings the same day. Jessie and partner came back a couple of days later and installed the new lights. He did exactly what I asked for and also made suggestions about placement and switches, which I agreed with. Very professional, personable and truly genuine. Love the new lighting! Huge improvement! This is the 3rd time I have had Klock Electric come to my home for electrical upgrades and installs and Jessie has gone above and beyond with each visit! I won't use anyone else!!

Klock and Vaughan is now just Klock Electric. We have been happy with them in the past and were glad we used them again this time. The owner, Greg Klock, sent out his electrician Lalo, who showed up when he said he would, was organized and efficient, and very knowledgeable about doing his work very carefully and in the right way. I always appreciate people who are intelligent and careful in their work, and Lalo struck me as one of them. I would use him again, and I would recommend him to other people.

These guys were a mess from start to finish. Or rather, from the start of the actual work in mid-April. They had good reviews and Lauren Klock seemed plausible when she came to make a bid, otherwise I wouldn't have hired them. I should have done a better job of investigating and I should definitely have asked to see licenses. It didn't occur to me at the time, but it turns out that licenses are considered optional at Klock's Electric. They were nothing but trouble. Their misinformation, incompetence, and non-responsiveness delayed my project by 4 weeks, delaying the other tradesmen's work, costing me money in temporary lodgings as well as time. I realized from the first day that they were sloppy and poor communicators. I gave Lauren a wiring diagram with a set of notes; I never saw anyone else with those documents and it became clear to me that none of the 9 Klock's employees who worked on my house knew about them. They sent different people every time; none of them knew what the guys before them had done, none of them ever once arrived at the job with everything needed for the tasks of the day. They'd come, do a few things, finish one thing and leave two others half done. They left my doors unlocked and ceiling fans, still in their boxes, outside on the patio. My house was an unwatched job site at that time. They screwed up and then lied about getting the temporary pole installed. They never answered email, except to make the sale and demand payment. They stopped answering the phone in May. I got so fed up with their bad work and bad manners that I wrote a lengthy letter of complaint to Greg Klock in May. Neither he nor Lauren saw fit to respond to that letter, leaving their untrained, unlicensed, unsupported young workers to cope with my wrath. Things went from bad to worse. They had to do nearly everything twice; not because I'm fussy, but because they couldn't communicate with each other. Dimmer switches, for example. Dimmable LED recessed can lights must be the most popular choice for lighting these days, but they could not remember to bring switches. Then when they finally did, they had to redo the one they'd already done, because it was a different kind. They had unlicensed men messing with my service panel again and again, because they could not get things straight. They failed final inspection THREE TIMES, pushing my project back a month, so that I ended up having to stay in a motel. During this time, I started looking them up and discovered that almost none of the men who worked on my house had licenses. There's no Master Electrician at Klock's either. The one they had lives in a retirement community in south Texas, but his license expired in March. They're charging electrician prices for glorified handymen, but my handyman is infinitely more skilled than these guys. I have filed a formal complaint against Klock's Electric with the Texas Dept of Licensing and Regulation. Don't hire them, not for anything. And make sure you check the licenses of whoever you do hire.

I had to call this company twice to get a call back. I ended up scheduling a appointment and giving them the benefit of the doubt. The job was to perform a complete home audit and to check areas where lights were flickering and bulbs were breaking. I scheduled this appointment almost a week in advance. During the morning of the appointment, I called to give a gate code to the office but didn't get a call back. The appointment was at 8:30 and at 930 am, I placed another call and sent a email for information. I didn't get a call back or email. They were a complete no-show. I had to head out of town a few days later and couldn't get another electrician scheduled. This is very unfortunate as this is something that I needed done before i left. I would not recommend a company that treats any future customer this way. I am new to Angie's list and am very disappointed with this introduction and services offered.
