Greg with Klock Electrical took my call, gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled the service call. they were available the next day, but I had to schedule it for Friday morning. Jeremy showed up right on time, worked hard, finished in 3-4 hours (it was a difficult install), cleaned up and charged me exactly the estimate. Very pleased with work quality, punctuality and cost.

The original job was to relocate the light switch for two bedrooms. The estimate for this was $150. However, one of the bedrooms had interior studs in the way and would be unrealistic to try to change the switch. Thus just one bedroom was done. The electrician, Jeremy, did not appear to have discussed the price with the dispatcher or manager. I asked to have a fan hung while he was there. Jeremy then charged me the full two bedroom price for the one switch change and $75 for hanging the fan. I decided to discuss this with the manager when I called later. When I spoke to Greg, he agreed that the price should have been reduced since only one switch was changed. I had paid the original charge of $225 and Greg subsequently sent me a refund of $65. I was treated fairly for the charges. I would recommend that any pricing be agreed on before the work begins.

Arrived on time. Replaced an existing fan/heater which I thought would be a simple matter of popping the old one out and the new one in (More or less). The new one was wider and larger, the wiring not quite long enough. This required cutting into an attic cross brace and adding a junction box with additional wire. This probably added at least 30 minutes to the job, but the cost remained the same as the estimate Mr Klock gave me. I watched a little while (I was working outside) and the job was done professionally. After the job I asked for a quote on a job that I will probably have done in the spring.

Greg showed up on time to give us the estimate on a Saturday morning. We scheduled the work for the following week. Jeremy showed up on time. He completed all the work we requested along with a couple of additional small requests. Greg checked in on the job as well. They were very easy to work with, very professional. Greg also was very fair about the work he felt we really needed and what we didn't so we'd save money. Would call them again in the future.

I contacted them to find out about rewiring my house. Right now I have RG-59 and I need RG-6 cable for a new HD Dish from DirecTV. We scheduled a time to meet up, and they said they'd call to confirm the meeting for a few days from then, but never did. They were great to speak with over the phone, and I would consider contacting them again because once I do get them over here, they'll probably do a good job (based on other reviews). I figure that my rewiring might be small potatoes to them, so if I do call them again, I'll be sure to follow up with them, rather than trust them to follow up with me.

Very responsive. Called in the morning and they were there in the afternoon. This one issue created many others (i.e., electric fence and sprinkler system non-operational). Jeremy was polite, detailed and quick. In hindsight, I would have had them do other things as they had a minimum service charge. Jeremy offered to fix anything else but I wasn't prepared for him to finish up so quickly.

I had a breaker that would not reset leaving 25% of the home without power. I needed an electrician to assess the issue and repair and/or replace components as needed. The technician provided an estimated quote at the beginning of the visit after a preliminary assessment and estimate of the time required to repair. The troubleshooting was MUCH more extensive than initially thought given the age of the home and electrical work performed during an earlier renovation that was less than optimal. The technician was able to identify the problem, replace components, correct the issue, ensure that the home was safe, and help ensure that my family was free to use items without fear of electricution.

Fine so far, they still have to finish out the final electrical. Will let you know how that goes.

I called today and Steve and Jesse arrived at 4. They did the work quickly and professionally and were friendly and fast. The price was reasonable. I would definitely use them again and plan to do so.

Very happy with the work and overall experience. Ethan and an assistant performed a laundry list of items very quickly and efficiently. Both were very professional and extremely polite. Ethan told me some of the work I was wanting to get done was not necessary. Price was very reasonable: $237 for 1.5 hrs of work + materials. Will definitely have him come back to perform the other items he quoted for me.

The technician checked over everything he could think of and could find nothing that he did wrong. He called Greg and went over the problem with him, and he could not figure out what was wrong either. I finally had to let the tech go, but then called an A/C service company to come out the next day. They found that the thermostat wires touched during the box installation, which shorted out the fuse. The fuse was replaced and the A/C repaired with no trouble.. I called Greg to let him know what happened and the mistake the tech made. Greg's estimate was $85 for the box rewire. The A/C repair was $65. I offered to pay the difference to Greg, but he said to call it even and didn't charge me. I feel like I was treated fairly and that Greg did the right thing for me. Even though there was a problem and slight inconvenence to me, Greg acknowledged the mistake. It was an honest mistake anyone could make and I don't blame the tech or Greg. The important thing is that I was treated right as a customer. I would use Klock and Vaughn again because of Greg's integrity.

It went great. They came out the same day and did the installation in under 30 minutes. They were friendly and answered all of my questions. I would definitely call them again.

Experience went well and they were much more affordable than others. That said the labor did take a bit long and they had to raise the cost after the work was complete. Overall did a great job.

They arrived on time in 2 trucks. I told them what I would like done. They got right to work, the job took them about 5 hours. The price was what I was quoted. My only complaint is that they could have picked up after themselves better. They were in a hurry to go because the job took longer than expected and were not as through as they could have been. I would hire them again they did do a nice job.

The 4 tasks were all finished in just a little over 1 hour, even with my "helping." I am again* very pleased with Klock Electric and am delighted to have had the work done, again, by a very personable and obviously competent technician. *I submitted an previous report in April of 2009 and am again so pleased with all aspects of my current contact w/ Klock that I was prompted to make this second report immediately.

Fairly priced, very good work, solid professionalism. I will use Klock again and recommend them to others. Greg Klock knows his stuff and has a good team working for him.

After a general contractor abandoned an addition to my home, I had Greg evaluate the status of the electrical work. He determined what needed to be done and gave an estimate based on not knowing what he would run into as the work progressed. He and his crew showed up on time, thoroughly inspected and evaluated what needed to be done, and completed the work in a day. And even with the unknowns, did it within the estimated amount. Greg and the crew were a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend them to anyone!

Called a few electricians and always got a quote of $150 to $200 to install a whole home surge protector. Klock gave me a service call price plus parts which came out 1/3 cheaper. They quickly installed the surge protector. They came on time and were very professional. I would call them again in a heart beat.

I will use these guys again and highly recommend them to other!!

The work went very well. They were very fast, professional, and courteous. I will hire them again if I need to get another project done. They were very responsive, and they were out the next day after I called them.

We needed the electrical service and 2 breaker boxes replaced and some additional work. Kand V had an estimate on the same day, and could start the job essentially immediately. They were here with 3-4 people, so they were able to do the whole job in a single day. (Other estimates were for 2-3 days). Great experience.

The contractor who installed my backyard pond in 2003 was not an electrician and did an amateur job of providing an electrical supply via 30 feet of buried UF cable from the rear of my garage. I also did some amateur work on the pond side of the supply. Heavy rains in early September caused a short which blew the GFI at the garage. I found Klock and Vaughn on Angie's list and called on Monday September 21. Greg Klock picked up on the first ring and immediately set an appointment for Thursday September 24. Sarge, the electrician rang my doorbell one minute prior to the appointed time. After I showed him the problem he went straight to work and was able to accomplish the entire project using parts he carried in the truck--and there were approximately a dozen parts required, including a new GFI, conduit, wire, splicing boxes, connector boxes and waterproof caulking. The job was done in three hours.

They did a great job and had the work completed very quickly- they started around 9 am and had finished by 3 pm! The city inspection was completed a day later.

Really well. There were traffic issues and the tech called to let me know he would be a little late. He ended up being about 15 minutes late (to his credit, it was raining and there were multiple accidents on the road). He asked me questions throughout the job so that he could do exactly what I wanted the first time. He was very professional and really knew what he was doing. I called yesterday to schedule them to come out after reading the reviews on here. They were able to come today which was perfect for my schedule. The tech had all of the equipment he needed.
