A quick 15 minute "inspection". A loose connection on the electronic eye was found and fixed.

Technician was punctual and professional. He made all the necessary adjustments to the garage doors moving parts and also adjusted the automatic door opener so it operated more efficiently.

Purchased deal in Angie's list for a garage tune up. They quickly contacted me to setup and appointment. We were able to get it schedule for a Saturday, with arrival time from 9am to noon. On the appointment day, the tech called 30 min ahead to let me know he was on his way and he arrived promptly. It was very professional, he gave me recommendations of what should be done (springs are not appropriate to the size of my garage door). I also had a keypad that I wanted to have setup, and he was able to find the manual and programmed at an extra cost. Overall, I'm very satisfied with their services. Something that can be improved: provide a checklist of the 23-point safety inspection.

They were on time, gave a clear and thorough assessment of solution to the problem and started the work immediately.

The problem with the garage door is that it would stick about 3/4 way going up. It was somewhat loud and was not opening smoothly. All was well when Emmet left. We closed the door and I went inside. The very next day I needed to open the garage door. It got stuck about 1/3 way down and would not close. I called it in to Welborn and they explained to me how to pull the red cord and close the door for the evening. When Emmet called me the next day he explained it might be a $45 service call for coming out since the door was working when he left. I did not expect this charge. He then asked me to explain to him what the door was doing. I did. He said it sounded as though the infara light unit had been bumped. He asked me to check to see if the red light was a steady red or blinking. It was steady. He came out and wired the black box and the door closed smoothly. It has been closing since. I don't know what could have moved the black box. I was not charged the $45. He did explain the door opener was not one of the best and the black boxes that are designed to stop the door if someone tries to run under it while it is in closing mode may be old. I asked for information about brand/price, he said to check Angie's List since he does not use Angie's List.

The problem is Welborn Garage Doors works with another company. It happened twice. They worked with Peter Park Doors and it’s very confusing. I purchased it with one company and Peter Park Overhead Doors actually came and did the work. It was confusing for me and they said they all work together. Other than that, both times were fine. Most times the men that came in were very polite. I don’t have any complains.

My garage door is too old. They suggested to do enhancement or replace it. It's waste of money to do tune up.

He was supposed to arrive between 10:00 and 12:00 but he called around 8:00 a.m. and said he would arrive in 30 minutes and he arrived sooner. We were fine with the arrival time and he was done before noon. The new door looks great complete with windows. I would recommend Welborn Doors to other customers. The next day we noticed that we did not have an outside entry to the door. I think it was an oversight and have contacted them to correct. Update: 04/17/2014 I called the office to see if the outside entry for the garage door was extra and Cloe in the office told me I had a standard door and it did not come with a lock. Once I was able to speak I told her that my door was not a standard door because I had windows installed and could not understand why I cannot get into my garage from the outside of my house. She put me on hold to listen to this awfully loud music for five minutes. When she can back to the phone she stated that since I had an old garage door opener that was no longer working no one offered to tell us that the outside lock and latch were a separate cost. She stated the cost of the lock and latch like it was something that I could not afford. I had to interrupt her and tell her that I wanted to be able to enter my garage from the outside of my house. She quoted the price again plus tax and asked when I would like for it to be installed. I have changed my mind about recommending this company to someone else. I have never purchased a garage door and I felt they did not give me all the information. The door that was replaced was 25 years old so I have no experience in purchasing a garage door.

He called to see if he could come a little early, which was fine. He replaced the rollers with plastic wheels on metals bearings. The old rollers were metal but were very much in need of replacement. We've been in the house 12 years and they had never been replaced. Rather than removing the bolts that hold the rollers in place, he used a vice grip to bend the track so he could just slid the old rollers out and the new ones in. Thats quick, but probably not the best presentation to the customer nor the best thing for the track. He bent the track back into place when he was done and I cannot tell it was ever bent. We called them because the door had started reopening when it hit the ground as it closed. He said he reset the door travel limits and it did close without reopening while he was there. As per Murphy, the minute he left it started reopening again. Since he showed me how to adjust the limit I was able to adjust it more myself and now it works fine. All in all I am happy that the door works, is significantly quieter and the cost was only $80.

I recently bought a home and wanted the garage door tuned up just to be safe. Technician arrived on time, was super friendly, did a great job doing safety inspection and answering my questions. Garage door is much quieter, and he even reprogrammed my code and garage door openers while he was there. Very reasonable price and great work, I would definitely use again

The young service person was very professional and kind. He explained any problems to me so that I could understand. He went beyond his service call to program my new car to my garage door. Although I spent way more money than planned, I now have a functioning garage door and opener.

Purchase an Angie's List coupon for maintenance service. The service was scheduled promptly and the technician arrived right on time. It was very smooth from start to finish. There was no attempt to up sell me -- which I really appreciated. The tech checked, cleaned and lubricated everything. He also adjusted the opener so there is no longer a huge jerk each time the opener is engaged. The door works much more smoothly and that's exactly what I was looking for.

The service turned out to be pretty good. He did the servicing that he was supposed to do, and I mentioned to him that the door seemed kind of rattly a little bit when it was going up and down. He seemed to know what he was doing, and he made an adjustment, and made it better. I thought their price was great.

Bought an Angie's list deal for garage door tune up and roller replacement. I had the appointment scheduled for a Saturday but they called and told me the time frame they originally gave me they would be unable to keep so if I could agree to a later time, I couldn't so we rescheduled for a weekday morning. I was told that even though the appointments were in blocks of time I would be put on the list for 9:00am and I would hear from the tech when he was on his way. On the day, 9am came and went so I decided to call, turns out the number on the Angie's list coupon rings without and answer and is not the correct number. Then I remembered they had called me to rescheduled and found that message and got the number from there. The person working the phone was very pleasant and told me she would check in with the tech and he would call me. Shortly after he did and arrived about 30 mins later. He was professional and answered my questions. He told me things to consider updating, which I knew to be true and there wasn't any hard sells which I appreciated, and I did agree to another minor repair being done. He performed the work quickly and I am satisfied with the results.

Bo was very good and knowledgeable about the needed repair. He was unable to do the actual repair because the entire door needs to be replaced. In order to complete the work we requested there may be additional damage in the process of completing the job. He suggested that we only use the door as needed until it can be replaced.

Came during scheduled time, explained service well, offered options to extend door life.

On time, provided reasonable price on required extras.

I called Welborn and a friendly helpful Chris answered the phone and said he could have someone out today which was a Saturday and in 2 hours a serviceman arrived & fixed my door.
