All My Sons Moving & Storage

The movers were great! The gave me an estimate over the phone that was very close to the actual cost. The arrived at the time that was promised.the people who came to load the trucks were very friendly an professional. We had two small children at the house & the worked around them & included them in the conversation. They did everything that was asked of them & then some. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a move.

It went well. We will likely hire them again to move our belongings from storage to our new home (when it is ready). We thought they were very professional.

You were on time - it took only 1 hour. I thought your fee of $372 was high. Did not use a dolly. Pushed some items on bare floor.

The service went poorly. One of the movers was very rude and would not do what I hired them to do entirely. I asked about getting the boxes packed up and moved down stairs and organized. They refused to do that for us. I had spoken with their boss beforehand about doing that. We were on a time restraint. We had all of the materials for the move and only needed them to pack up and for labor. They ended up charging us for their materials. They did not mark the boxes properly or secure the fragile items. Several large, heavy boxes were opened and fragile crystal & china were not even wrapped, & were thrown in with metal items, although we provided bubble wrap, packing paper,or kraft paper, as well as smaller boxes for fragile items.We have many broken, damaged items and we would like compensation. The owner called to see how the crew was doing but I was alone and standing next to the movers so I was afraid to tell him what they did.

/2014I have had many different moves from do-it-yourself to corporate moves where price is not an issue and the move is "luxury" with every little thing wrapped and covered. A move with All My Sons is somewhere in between. For the price, I think the service they provide is a good value. The guys who moved us were pleasant and very fast. A little more care could have been taken in packing, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I would use them again for a mid-priced move if I were paying for the move myself. If I had a company footing the tab I might select a more white glove service.

I did the packing myself. I would say, you have to better pack all your stuffs before moving , and the pricing was cheaper out there. They did good. She was a military mover, she just retired.

They broke a glass table-top and promised to replace it. They have not done so.

Pros: They were always prompt, for the quote and for the pack and move. Good price and they actually beat their quote by a significant amount. Packed everything in a day and moved it in another day (2 trucks worth of stuff) Disassembled and reassembled most everything. Cons: They were a little bit too interested in speed vs quality. Some things damaged but they credited us for the one destroyed lamp. I had to redo much of the reassembly work. Let them use a couple of my tools and haven't found them anywhere since the move.

It started off good, real good; The driver called and said he was on his way, I said fine I was having a garage sakle, he said that we could exchange some stuff frome the garage sale for a discount on the move. I was pretty stoked as cash was short. However that was not the case. All in all the move was ok; a nightstand was damaged and I have received no call back from All My Sons about that claim, and probably won't. When we went to settle the bill, I was expecting a discount, instead I was charged full price plus was charged for materials (tape) that was never used. I had everything all taped and shrink wrapped, all they had to do wasload and unload and disassemble one bed frame. They clipped me for a lawnmower, portable AC, power lawn equipment, a mini fridge; at garage sale asking price that was $600.00 worth and at retail prices it was over $2,000.00. My challenges have gone unanswered and they made out like a bandit from me and my garage sale. Be aware that they charge a 1 hour ($114.00) fee for travel time, kinda like a service call so whatever the hour estimate is, be sure to add an hour. Avod All My Sons Movers.....I should have stuck with 3 Men Movers and they have always been fair and responsive over the last 5 times I used them. Cost of service includes the tip that was demanded as well ON TOP of clipping me at my garage sale.

They left furniture and boxes downstairs that wer clearly marked for upstairs. They failed to put things back together. All around they are lazy and unprofessional.

Quincy, Dalynn, and Damyan arrived promptly in the morning with smiles on their faces and a great attitude. They worked extremely hard, all day long, to get us packed, moved, and unloaded into our next house. They took good great care with our belongings, which we appreciated. We were so impressed! They made moving day much less stressful for us, and we are grateful. Thank you guys!!

They were very good. They were professional on both ends, and worked their tails off on loading/unloading. They took apart our bed and put it back together for us too.

First, they completed the work to my satisfaction. I would use them again with the understanding that hiring movers is never a perfect situation. I hired a three man crew at an hourly rate with an expectation the work would be completed within 8 hours. Based on the size of the house and quantity of household goods I think that expectation was reasonable. They ended up taking approximately 9.5 hours. This was largely due to time spent organizing items in the truck so everything would fit. I really appreciated the crews careful attention, but a larger truck would have solved the problem. Alternatively, they we're only moving us 1.2 miles so it would have been reasonable to split this into two loads.

I was pleased with the service they provided. They were on time and moved me within the time estimated. Nothing was damaged so I was very pleased with that. I was quoted a price on the phone but the price ended up being $200 more than the quote. I did have a lot of stuff including my home business equipment so maybe that was the reason. If you want an exact quote you might want them to come and take a look at what you have.

Making the appointment for the move was easy and professional. All My Sons kept in touch with me prior to the move which put my mind at ease that they'd show up! On moving day the 3 movers showed up in the timeframe agreed upon. They were fast but very careful with our belongings and making sure they did not damage the leased home or our new home. They completed the work much faster than we anticipated and we couldn't be happier with the job that All My Sons did. Willie, Greg and their assistant were outstanding on moving day. This company is all about customer service and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

We had a quick walk thru for estimate prior to move. She was professional and we were charged what was estimated. Our two movers were hard working, concscientious, knew what they were doing and friendly. We will be moving our stored items within the next year and will use them again.

I called All My Sons in the midst of a bit of a panic because we were closing on our house (selling) two weeks before we'd be able to move into our new house. I needed to find a company that would come collect our belongings, store them for two weeks, and return them to us at our new place when we were ready to move in to it. Enter All My Sons. Jennifer, who happened to answer the phone the day I called, was EXTREMELY helpful and said they could do exactly what I needed to do. I was so relieved. (They were also super-great when I needed to alter our move-in date because the sellers needed to remain in the house a bit longer than expected.) For this, I give them an A plus plus. On the day the movers came to get our stuff, we had three guys show up exactly on time with their big truck. They were friendly, courteous, and clearly knew what they were doing. We showed them around a bit and they got to work. One of the guys (I assume the one in charge) took inventory and wrote everything down on eight sheets of paper while intermittently helping the other two load up the truck. They carefully wrapped our furniture and carried everything out to the truck carefully. We were quite impressed with them, actually. When they were ready to leave, we had to sign the paperwork. Insert our major fault here - something for which I've not yet forgiven myself. My husband and I, for I swear the first time in our lives, didn't read the paperwork like we should have. We just signed the inventory list that had eight pages worth of stuff on it and sent them on their way with our stuff....pretty much all of our stuff, I might add. About a week and a half later, sitting on a bed at the friends' house at which we were crashing, I was going through the mounds of paperwork associated with a move when I came across our inventory sheets. I started reading through them, and I nearly died. Seriously. My husband and I are not rich, but we have nice things and we take excellent care of them. I started looking through the "condition at origin" remarks the guy had made about our stuff: Bar stools - scratched all over, loose legs Desk - scratched all over, loose legs Leather chairs and ottoman (we are talking Pottery Barn leather chairs that are brand new) - "pulling from seams and ripped outsides and back" Book cases - loose and scratched all over Couch and love seat - "leather ripped outsides and back, soiled, stained, mildewy, and motheaten. W**? There wasn't a single thing wrong with those couches. Refrigerator (fairly new, excellent condition) - scratched all over Mattress (yes, the one on which we sleep) - soiled, stained, motheaten, mildewy The list goes on and on. Let me assure you that NOTHING was in the condition he said it was in. NOTHING. Unfortunately, there wasn't a single thing I could do about it because my husband and I had signed the paperwork accepting what he'd written as truth. I did not sleep for four nights in a row, panicking over our stuff. We'd just bought a new house - how in the world were we going to afford to replace all of our stuff if they destroyed it? I couldn't imagine why he would have said the things he did. A million different reasons flew through my head, usually between the hours of 11pm and 8 am, as I lay next to my soundly-sleeping husband. Finally, move-in day arrived. We got to our new house and anxiously awaited the arrival of the crew with our belongings, which by that time I'd resorted to believing they'd completely destroyed, sold, had let "fall off the back of the truck," etc. No sleep will do this to a person... A different crew of even friendlier and more muscular guys arrived earlier than expected and bounced off the truck, all smiles and ready to move our things in. They worked hard, were extremely careful with our things, and even moved our refrigerator from the truck to the kitchen and then to the garage as I tried to decide where it would best fit. As they started bringing boxes in, I was unpacking them, checking for damages. Nothing. Finally, they started bringing in our furniture. I examined every last piece down to the inch; everything was returned to us in exactly the condition in which they took it. Seriously. Not a scratch, ding, stain, rip, soil, moth bite, mildew, etc. on anything. I could feel myself relaxing with every piece I checked. Finally, after everything had been unloaded from the truck (I'll admit that I stopped opening boxes after I made it through dishes and glasses and found nothing broken), I had to sign the paperwork again. I showed the head guy the comments that had been made previously about our things and explained why I'd been checking everything so carefully. After reading through the comments incredulously, he went to check our couches. He examined them all over, lifting them up to check the bottoms and everything, then said to me, "That last guy must've been smoking something because there's nothing wrong with any of this stuff. It's in excellent condition." I agreed with him. Overall, my husband and I were very satisfied with the job All My Sons provided, though we still cannot fathom why the first guy said all of our stuff was in such horrible shape. While my husband and I definitely deserve a "shame on you" for not reading every single word before signing a binding contract, I believe the guy who wrote that also deserves a "shame on you" for his blatant lies. I don't know if this is standard practice with All My Sons as a kind of CYA methodology or if this guy, as my husband suggested one night, had recently gotten in trouble for damaging something and was simply covering his own butt this one time. Either way, we are disappointed which is why we've give All My Sons an overall rating of "B." We would probably use them again if we needed to move, but you can bet your butt that we'd be checking and double-checking anything they wrote down with regard to our stuff.

Move went very well. Two people did all the packing on day one and finished quickly. Three people did all the loading and unloading on the second day. The crews were speedy and did not waste any time. Our only compliant is that box labeling was not detailed enough to help us as we started unpacking. Everything made it in good condition but we spent extra time searching through dish packs looking for items to load in the dishwasher. We did use them three years ago and were happy enough to use them again. Next time we would concentrate even more of our early packing and labeling on more items we know we need to find quickly after arriving at the new place. We would use them again but are hoping that won't bee too soon. Moving twice in three years is too much work!

I contracted with All My Sons Moving and Storage after seeing the positive reviews here and I was not disappointed. They moved us around 4/19/2013. They were punctual and highly professional. They carefully wrapped, moved, and unwrapped the furniture. There was no damage.Ours was not an easy move - a single story to a two story - and we asked them to move a lot of furniture that was already at the new house. The crew (Rick, Cedric, Mageed) were efficient, helpful, and cheerful, and finished well within the estimated time frame and cost. In addition they were very helpful with moving some of our additional furniture to new locations around the house and in the garage. I would highly recommend All My Sons.

I had to do a quick (unexpected) move and scanned the internet via my iphone while dropping my daughter at school. The only website that appeared easiest to navigate "was all my sons" which merely required me to enter date I needed them, zip code moving from and to; and my phone number. I literally hit the "submit" button and as I was pulling away from my daughter's school, the phone rang and it was the local office clerk calling to confirm my appointment. (That was the WOW factor to me) I asked for an 8AM arrival on move day and two guys showed up at 7:59AM. Friendly, courteous, and got right to work. It took them about an hour to tape, wrap and move everything. Simple and efficient on the unloading end as well. I was very pleased and will definitely use them again.

They showed up right on time. The apartment was done first do to going up and down the steps. When they first arrived, they briefly went over every thing that needed to be done. After completing the apartment, they went over to the storage unit. They took care of handling our items. It was about a 9 hour job and I only remember them taking a 10 minute break. They worked hard and fast but used care.

Excellent job and very professional.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were much better than the company I used before. Prompt, courteous and efficient.
