All My Sons Moving & Storage

DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS!!!! I moved from one bedroom to another one bedroom here in Austin that was only 7.6 miles away. They started a little after 9am and did not finish until after 6pm. Choosing All my Son's was a huge mistake and disappointment. All My Son’s charged me over $1400 to move a one bedroom apartment. The movers went through my boxes and drawers that were well sealed. The movers stole a box of alcohol, apple watch, and IPad that I am aware of so far. Basically, I paid for 9 hours for All My Son’s to have the movers to go through my boxes and steal my some of my items. The only reason I knew they open boxes is because they used a different colored tape from what I was using. I did not notice this until I started unpacking. I even tried to help them move the boxes to move along the process. There was only so much I could do. I filed a claim but they are only giving me $75. I tried to reach out to Shawn but was never available. I sent an email and sadly no response. I spoke to Tony and told him about the situation, he transferred me to claims dept., and got disconnected. I feel violated and disappointed with the customer service. Especially, if you are a single women. DO NOT USE ALL MY SONS!!!!

Amazing service!! We were updated at every step of the process. They handled my tub with care and delivered it in a timely manner. This would be 10 stars if that were an option. Above and beyond my expectations!

SINGLE WOMEN BEWARE!!!!! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! One of my movers was sick (threw up in the bathroom) at the beginning of the move, so only one worker was loading / unloading at the beginning of the move while the sick worker was just staying in my apartment wrapping furniture and re-taping my boxes when they clearly were already fine. Of course they charge you a-la-carte for these unneeded supplies - an additional $100 for tape and wrapping to protect my furniture (like they're supposed to do as a professional moving company???) It took 6 hours to move a one bedroom apartment 10 minutes away when it was estimated to take 2-3 hours total. I was erroneously charged $180 for a fuel surcharge (claimed I needed to cover 15% of their gas not for the 10 minute drive between my apartments, but for THEIR WHOLE DAY OF UNDISCLOSED TRAVEL BEYOND MY MOVE) and $100 for packing supplies that I did not ask for / was not notified it'd be extra. When I talked to the general manager Gerardo, he only refunded me for the ludicrous gas surcharge and $10 off the hourly labor rate. After the refund, it was still +$1200 for a single woman to move from a 700sq ft apartment 3 miles away. I am being grossly over charged and taken advantage of and you will be too. All My Sons is a shady and untrustworthy business that takes advantage of and preys on young women that have no other options for moving. Avoid at all costs.

Total disregard for what rooms to put contents in, did not properly wrap things so we're expecting damage as we unpack.

If you want the most stress-free move All My Sons Pflugerville is the way to go, they turned what was a hair pulling stressful process into 5 hours of sitting back as the movers took care of everything besides unpacking. I had been moving from Sacramento and used a relocation cube service that resulted in my stuff being stuck in a warehouse with no set delivery date. I called up AMS and they were able to get me scheduled with a 2 day heads up and they met me at the warehouse where my stuff was loaded into a truck and unloaded at my apartment. I was expecting this to take at least 8 hours because of all the labor involved. Luckily I was sent an amazing crew who not only were extremely polite and professional, but incredibly fast! Within 5 hours everything was in my apartment scratch free and nothing broken; any furniture was placed exactly where I wanted it without any heavy lifting on my part (mind you I’m in a second floor apartment with the worst stairs imaginable). Truly impressive service and professional help, in fact I have used them multiple times since then and will be using them as I depart from Austin. Would recommend to anyone who wants a stress free move with a professional crew!

Went very well! They communicated well via phone before and during the trip. Jonathan and Willie were awesome to work with, careful with everything, and super friendly.

We spoke with Brian on the phone who advised it should only take 2 movers one hour and quoted a great price. We accepted and set the appoint. The day of the appoint the movers showed up and moved the furniture in less than an hour. This is where the issues began. When they came to settle the check, we were advised that we were going to be charged a 2 hour minimum charge as well as an additional hour for travel. None of this was disclosed on the phone to us. We then tried to call the office and sat on hold for over 30 minutes. The first time I finally got through, before I could talk, the person on the line hung up. I called and finally got through to someone who would talk and tried to explain the situation, the rep was cold and didn't care, just continue to quote what the movers stated. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, he said sure, placed me on hold and then hung up again. We ended up paying over 3 times the amount we were charged. This is totally unacceptable and I will let everyone know of the terrible service and lack of care that this company has for its "customers".

They showed on time in the morning and got to Fort Worth expeditiously. Items were packed, protected and unloaded promptly and courteously. My kudos to these guys--made my life a lot easier. Entire process on my end--Austin to Fort Worth--was about 8 hours.

There was some damage by movers to front door on recent move and drywall on previous move by this company, but they paid to have damage repaired to our satisfaction.

Our experience was awful. One of the 3 movers was either starting his first day or was hung over. Within an hour he looked like he wouldn't pass out which, left the other 2 with most of the work. A morning move took all day. Then they broke the door on our handmade mesquite armoire (my husband asked them to remove it and they said they didn't need to). The company was going to give us $120 to fix the door. We had to commission a furniture maker (out of town) to complete the work ($650). I called the company to complain and was told to write "refuse" on the top, attach a quote for the work and they would re-evaluate. I never heard back so I contacted the local branch and never received a response.

Movers damaged several items, including a newly refinished hardwood floor when one guy tried (unsuccesfully) to drag a crib down a narrow hallway. My wife had to tell him to stop. Same guy was on his phone for about the first 15-30 minutes of the job, texting and talking. Again, he had to be told to stop. Foreman did not seem to have good authority over his guys. They were respectful and courteous, arrived on time, but for the price I expected a lot more. Would not recommend or use again.

They moved us in July of 2015 as well. It was great, under projected cost and ahead of schedule. I've had them move my mom as well. They moved me and did such a good job I had them move my mother from one assisted living community to another.

The movers were efficient and thorough. They were very careful with our possessions.

All my sons movers were reasonably priced and arrived on time. They worked very hard! Should of had 3 men instead of 2 men.

Poor estimating, broken items, crushed boxes, packed too tight, rude mover - solicited for tips. Unprofessional demeanor.

Crew was on time and stayed busy from start to finish. They were all pleasant and respectful, no complaints.

Altom, Steve, Marco and George did an excellent job with our move from Richmond to Austin. They were courteous, professional and a pleasure to work with. I recommend them highly.

All My Sons crew, Mark, Edgar, Vincent, Andre are extremely professional, polite, take great care of our home and furnishing, on time, efficient and hard working men.
