Description of Work: I emailed the supplier on Sat but did not expect a response until Monday. I got a response requesting a good phone number on Monday afternoon. I supplied my cell. I never received a call. I called their office on Wednesday but was told there were no sales people available. She said she would make sure they contacted me on Thursday. It is now Friday afternoon. I wanted to replace my entire HVAC system and told them that in th original email. Now why would I buy from a company that cannot not even reply to a request to quote. I live in their primary service area. Your choice, but I am afraid they are off the list of potential suppliers in my book.

Description of Work: The technician came out the same day we called, which was a Friday afternoon, found the faulty wire and fixed it quickly.

Description of Work: Routine AC maintenance. Had brand new AC/Furnace system installed in November 2013 by Air Specialists. I am so GLAD I used them to replace my existing system. They are very professional/prompt/friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new system or maintenance/repairs on existing system.

Description of Work: I contacted Air Specialists on Sunday by Internet, they called back right away, and we arranged for them to come on Tuesday for an estimate which they did and we agreed to what was to be done and for how much. We were having our old A/C & Htg ( 2 units each) changed out that serviced our 3 story townhome. Required a crane to come in as both our condensing units were on a landing outside of our 3rd floor attic. They came in early on Wednesday and removed the old equipment and completely replaced both units with Carrier equipment and were finished the same day. Only small problem is they broke the window on the small opening used to crawl through to the outside landing - they took it it away to be repaired. Since I had to leave town on Thursday, I'm not aware of the status of that repair job yet, but it should probably be completed by now.. |Except for that everything went well, was on schedule. The crew was extremely professional in All aspects.

Description of Work: Air Specialist did their semi-annual checkup--this time it was on the a/c. The repairman was excellent.

Description of Work: Air Specialist of Pearland was one of the four companies that provided me with quotes for a new A/C and new ductwork. The HVAC specialist for Air Tech for polite, professional and knowledgeable and worked with me on price. Eventually, I decided on South Tex AC and Heat but both companies seemed to be very reputable and it was hard to make a decision. In fact, I received info on Air Specialist from a very satisfied customer who did a lot of research on AC companies.

Description of Work: It was a Big Deal for $69 Fall Furnace Tune-Up Special. They informed me that my evaporator coil needed to be replaced. It turned out pretty good. The coil was still under warranty. He was a very knowledgeable guy.

Description of Work: Purchased big deal for furnace tune up. Air Specialist had no knowledge of the AL Big Deal. Said "that guy doesn't work here anymore." Tech Showed up late to appointment window. Offered a $25 account credit, but then tried to sell me surge protection for my furnace, which would have cost me even MORE money. I'm not sure he did anything to my furnace.

Description of Work: We purchased our a/c system from Air Specialist several years ago along with an extended warranty. It cost about $7000. They perform annual fall and winter check-ups. Recently the condensor was making a loud rattling sound so I had the service man check it this year during the fall examination. He said the condensor was going out but there would be no charge to replace the $2000 condensor since it was under warranty. The company replaced it the next week. The service people are always professional. I do recommend getting the extended warranty since the Carrier condensor has gone out twice and has been replaced free of charge each time. Customer service is not perfect. One thing that did bother me is that when I had a general question about the functioning of an air conditioning system and normal humidity in a home I could not speak with a technitian on the phone but had to pay $76 for a service call for one to come to our home.
