When we didn't get hot water, I called back & he immediately returned to my home. He checked again and found that the part was in fact bad.cBeing Easter weekend, parts houses were closed & would not be able to get the part until Tuesday. He went the extra mile & had the part shipped overnight (Saturday) and explained installation to my husband. He also returned the $71.00 check to me for the previous cleaning of the coupler. I did not expect him to do that as he had actually done his job, but he wouldn't accept the check. The part came the next day and my husband was able to install it. The part was still under warranty, so it cost us nothing. They could have easily charged us for what they did and we would have gladly paid. That's what I call customer service! Will not use anyone else in the future. Thanks Angie!

Did not show up on time. When I spoke to the office, I was told no one answered the door. I was home and no one ever knocked or rang the bell. Turns out they went to the wrong house with a similar address. When they couldn't get in the wrong house, they had gone to another job and had to reschedule for later in day. Which conflicted with another serviceperson being present in my home at the same time. They had to work around each other. Very frustrating! Even though they had a detailed description of all the work that had to be done, they had to leave and go to Home Depot for parts. I was told they would go to the parts house first thing that morning BEFORE coming to the job. This was another delay that was very annoying. The main plumber's English was poor and it was hard to communicate with him. Luckily he had a helper who translated. They left the shower trashed after changing the shower head. I had to insist they clean it up.

I contacted Cavazos on Wednesday, March 7 to request an estimate. Roland came out on Thursday and gave me an estimate of $950.00. I got a second estimate the next day from another Angie's List provider in my area, but the estimate was more than double. I called Roland late Thursday to ask them to do the work. They would have come on Friday, but bad weather was expected, so we scheduled on Monday morning. They arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled time and got right to work. I was not at home when they were there, but after all the rain and the need to excavate around the foundation in the flowerbed, I was expecting lots of muddy footprints on the sidewalk, some torn up shrubbery, etc, but everything looked just like it did before they arrived. You could hardly tell they had been in the flowerbed and would never know they had been doing work in the kitchen. They finished sooner than expected and deducted $100.00 off the bill! We are going to need some other plumbing work done in the near future and I won't have to shop around. My mother-in-law was home during the work and said the crew was very friendly and professional. After they pressure tested the gas line, they checked the stove and showed her how to manually light it until I could get the electrical connection restored. My father-in-law was a Master Plumber and the work Cavazos did reminded me of the pride Dad always took in his work. I've already told my daughter and friends in the Pealand area who to call next time they need a plumber.

He did a very good job, and did a lot better than the other plumbers I have used in the past. I would recommend him.

The plumber arrived a little earlier than he said he would be here and he went right to work. He finished in just over 45 minutes and the replacement equipment was PVC pipe rather than galvanized steel, and so there will be no more problem with corrosion. It's also mounted about an inch farther from the exterior wall of the house, so it will be easier to wrap in before the next freeze. You can't beat service like that.

They fixed the low water pressure & tightened up the kitchen sink...it turns out it didn't need any new parts. Very professional, prompt & honest.

Problem was well diagnosed and professionally resolved. We were concerned about this mysterious sink that leaked from time to time. We had no idea that the AC used this drain. We couldn't have been more pleased that the Cavazos team quickly found the answers. John and Lynn McDonald

Quick Summary: Crew did good work, but could have been helped out with better customer service from central office when crew did not make appointment time. I had called the week before to schedule the appointment for Friday morning for the removal of my existing sink/faucet and installation of the existing faucet. It was about mid-morning and the installation team had not arrived to the house, at this time I contacted the central office to ask about the team and was told that they had an emergency job come up and they were shorthanded and the team will be delayed. When I asked why they did not call me to let me know about the delay, the central office did not have a solid reason why. The crew finally showed up at about 2pm, almost 5 hours after I initially contacted them. When the team was on site, I was impressed with their work. They came in, assessed the overall situation very quickly, and got right to work. The team did a wonderful job making sure that the countertops were not damaged when removing the existing sink/faucet. They did a good job keeping the work area clean and making sure that the overall job went smoothly. They gave good instructions to ensure that there was sufficient time allowed to let the seal with the countertop dry to keep the sink from shifting. The only thing one might complain about is that they did not haul off the old sink, but that wasn't a problem since the garbage was picked up the next day.

I was noticing a smell in my home that was similar to the additive they add to natural gas so you can smell it. I tracked the smell down to my utility room which has my washer/dryer. After shutting off the gas to the dryer I called Cavazos Plumbing to come check for a gas leak and fix it if needed. Within an hour there was a technician at my door. He checked the dryer gas connection and did not find a leak. However, he agreed there was a very natural-gas like smell in the utility room. Together we discovered my deep freeze had stopped working some time ago, and the smell was the rotting food that was in it. Since this was a "false alarm" the technician told me there was no charge for the visit. I don't know many plumbing services that would make a service call without giving at least a "trip charge." I still chose to give the technician a tip for being so gracious. Based on this job I can't really vouch for their plumbing skills, but I like the way they do business.

very well. But we did have a small hiccup inthe process, a small leak developed within the connecting tubing. This problem was corrected promply with profesionalism and care. Would not hesitate to use their service again. In fact already refered to other people and they where very satisfied as well.
