Owens Custom Stucco

Owen came out to give me an estimate for the work and gave me a price that I thought was already fair. Then my neighbor came over and asked Owen if we could get a discount if he did the work on both of our homes. Owen said that he would do both homes for a discounted price. The following morning, Owen showed up early just as he said he would, but my neighbors backed out. Owen honored the discounted price for me and did an EXCELLENT job! He was onsite for the majority of the work and he and his crew were professional, neat, and respectful of mine and my neighbor's property. I'd be confident in recommending him to friends, family and strangers.

We are very pleased with the work. A lot of effort went into preparation (sealing, etc.) to prevent problems in the future which was important to us. The crew was good and Owen kept us informed of progress, etc. We would definitely work with Owen again in the future.

Owen was very responsive and professional. All calls were returned immediately. Workers were punctual and professional. We ran into a few problems and extra details during the work that were addressed professionally and at no additional cost to me. I had the work done in preparation for putting my house up for sale, and Owen was very sensitive to my timing concerns and made an extra effort to work me into his schedule. The happy result -- my home sold after less than a week on the market!!

Owen was quick to respond to my voicemail. He came out the next day to do the repairs even though it was raining. The repairs only took a couple of hours. We have had no problems since.

Fantastic! Owen really is the ONLY stucco guy to use. He took the time to explain materials, why my existing stucco was failing, options etc. In addition to explaining how/why he pointed out areas on surrounding homes so that i could see from other perspectives (i.e. at height from my roof).

Owen, unlike a number of other firms, personally completed the work. I was very confident after speaking to him that he was more than experienced for the job. He completed the work in the estimated time and the work came out beautifully. I do plan to have Owen to come back in a year or so to inspect the stucco just to make sure other work is not required. If you let the stucco go, it will cost a more as every day goes by.

I've used Owen several times. He's fixed serious stucco wall problems, repaired several new cracks, designed and built faux stucco shutters (they look completely real from the street) and a showcase stucco mailbox. All of his work has been exceptional - this man knows stucco and knows what needs repair and what doesn't. He's very reasonable, honest, forthright, and there when he says he'll be there. You can trust what he tells you and I can't recommend him highly enough.

Mine was a small job. Some birds pecked a hole in the stucco of my chimney and another part of the house. I called Owen on a Saturday. He said he would stop by on Wed or Thursday of the following week. He actually came by on Monday, two days earlier. He looked at the problems, said he would take care of it for me. The following week two of his employees were at my house early in the am and fixed both problems/issues. It looks perfect and matches the surrounding area. The question i always ask when someone does some work at the house is, "whether i would have them back again." The answer is an unequivocal "yes." Owen did what the said he would do and did it when he said he would. The work was performed perfectly, clean-up was no issue whatsoever. Simply said, it was a pleasure doing business with him.

Even with the weather they were honest and didn't rush into anything. They reschedule to be sure the weather accommodated the work. We have had bad experiences with contractors before, but not with Owen. Every time I drive by the house or pull in the drive I look at the stucco work and smile!

Mr. Lassiter arrived promptly, reviewed the items, and determined quickly that there were no problems with the stucco. He told me that all items were easily resolved with a small amount of paint, which I could easily do myself, if I chose to do so.

He's really nice to work with and it's a great work. He's on time so it was very good.

LOOKED LIKED EVERY THING WAS BRAND NEW. I WILL AND HAVE ALREADY REFERED OTHERS TO GET QWENS COMPANY TO DO WORK FOR THEM.. MR. He drove to the house and immediately knew that it was not proper stucco! When I spoke to him I offered to pay him for his time - driving from Tomball to the westside of Houston and he said that was not necessary. I cannot speak to the quality of his work obviously, but I can speak to the quality of the man. First class.

We hired Owen due to his continued followup with us even before he got the contract as well as his references in Angies List and two phone call interviews. Owen and his team constantly told us when they would be onsite, what needed to be done, explained the steps, cleaned up the job site every night, accommodated entry into the house and garage when needed. His crew were polite, honest (we know due to experience), and professional. His completion of the work was timely even with the rain issues and freezing temps. The overall job took 3 weeks to complete with the delays due to weather and we were updated the whole time. Owen is a hand's on owner and truly knows stucco work. We would highly recommend him for your stucco needs.

Mr. Lassiter has done some work for me in the past. I thought I had submitted a review before but I cannot find it. As I have had positive experiences with Mr. Lassiter in the past (last minute inspection of area of stucco pointed out by home inspector while purchasing home, patching stucco cracks, sealing stucco/masonry junctions, caulking windows), I decided to use him again. I noticed a new crack in the stucco near a window, texted him about it. He responded right away, and as luck would have it, he was to be in the general area the next day. I left my gate unlocked, he patched that area and two other ones. He texted me an update of what he had done, the payment due and instructions. I sent off payment today. I really appreciate him being able to accommodate my work schedule and not requiring that I be present. The work looks like a good textural match.

My wife called to get some general information about stucco care for another job. We weren't even calling for work that we planned on paying this gentleman for. The owner was pleasant, professional, generous with his expertise, & highly knowledgeable. We will be calling him back when we need stucco work performed on our home in The Woodlands.

His estimate was reasonable, and he made sure he did exactly what he said he would do, and exceeded expectation. We had asked that they start at 0800 and stop at 1700, and that's exactly what they did. I have dealt with a number of other stucco contractors and some inspectors, and recommend Owen without reservation. He doesn't hold himself out as an inspector, but in Texas, there is no license for a stucco inspector, and I would not hesitate to use him in that role. He did NOT take the opportunity to pad the bill when it wasn't necessary.

. We are very happy with the outcome of the job Mr. Lassiter did on our stucco. He also repaired a few other places on the exterior of the home which he noticed had damage. There are several stages to the type of stucco repair that was made, and at every visit to our home, he arrived on time. He also called prior to the appointment to let me know he was on his way. The quality of the work is excellent, and he left the work areas clean. Thank you for doing a great job, at a reasonable price!

Went very well. Finished product was excellent. Own is really knowledgeable about home exteriors When he bid, he gave a range of 9k-18k depending on damage extent. He really worked hard to stay at the low end of the estimate even given the fact we had add ons along the way. As far as price is concerned, he was not the cheapest, but after bidding the job with a couple of contractors and seeing the vast range of workmanship in inner loop town homes, he was a great value and we were glad to have paid that. Our neighbor kept an eye on the workers, the site supervisor kept everyone working was really professional. Our home looks fantastic I would recommend without hesitation.
