They are amazing. The price was very competitive. He was having a hard time figuring out what was wrong with my refrigerator. He came out here multiple times, and never recharged me for anything. He even put parts in there trying to fix the problem and didn’t charge me for all the parts. He is absolutely amazing. He owns his own company. His name is Chris, and he does all the work himself. He is a lot cheaper than anybody else I called. Most people charge about $500 to replace a circuit board in a refrigerator, and he charged me $275. He went way above and beyond. I would recommend him to anyone. He is the only appliance service guy I will ever call.

Chris answered my call immediately and was able to schedule a next day appointment. He call that evening to give me a time window for the appt. He arrived on time and was very pleasant and polite as well as appropriately dressed and groomed. His communication skills are excellent. He performed a diagnostic test on the appliance and made a few adjustments. The main problem was user error due to lack of an instruction manual. Chris then thoroughly explained the procedure so I could manage the analysis myself should future problems occur. He also left paperwork with the necessary instructions I am in the market for an ice maker and Chris gave me information and a recommendation. He did a great job of informing about the appliance, maintenance and preliminary work to be done before making the purchase. He offered to speak with our plumber so there would adequate communication regarding the latter.

Chris returned my call for service promptly, and came for service two days later. Although we live out of his preferred service area, he gave us the first appointment of the day, arrived on time, and was thorough and courteous. Chris also helped by making suggestions for the operation of the fridge and dryer.

It only took him 30 minutes to fix my machine. He tested the machine through each step of the cycle, everything was in good working order. He was very nice. He didn't even park in the driveway because he didn't want to inconvenience me.

I called Advanced Appliance Repair on 1-08-2014 and appointment was set for 1-09-2014 with a 2 hour window call. I received a call on 1-09-2014 that Chris was coming to repair machines. He was very professional, nice, and clean looking. He looked at my machines and advised me that it would be better to replace both of them due to the cost of parts and labor. I really appreciated his honesty as he could have made some good money on the repairs. Not sure that anyone else would have advised me that way from past experiences. He also went as far as to advise me on some of the best brands to purchase due to their prices and functionally. I was only charged a service call of $55.00 due to the fact that no repairs were made. I will call Chris again if the need arises and would recommend that anyone else with appliance problems call Advanced Appliance Repair.

A belt and pulley needed to be replaced in the dryer. The person had the parts in stock and made the repairs. Dryer works as good as new!

Awesome. Called the Monday before Thanksgiving to repair a Maytag dryer that wasn?t producing any heat. This has happened before so we knew what the problem was. The last time Sears came out and fixed the problem with no issues and it has been working since then. But alas, it broke again. So I didn't want to call Sears to refix their fix. The tech arrived early morning on Wednesday and knew exactly what the problem was. He told my wife it was one of the best dryers but a design flaw causes this belt to slip and stop producing heat. He knew of the manufacturer?s fix (apparently something Sears did not know) and added some epoxy to keep the belt in place. He was prompt, courteous, quick, and put it all back together like he wasn?t even there. Hopefully this won?t happen again to the dryer, but for any appliance repair?.we?ll call the guys at Advanced Appliance Repair. And the 10% off Angie's List coupon was a great help as well.

We called him for a problem that we were having with sears and the warranty on our washer, and so we called him, and before he could bring the part, Sears agreed to give us a brand new washer, so he cancelled the part and everything was fine, and we said we would use him again. Couple of days after that, we needed our refridgerator to be fixed, and he came out and fixed it and he was really great. He told us how to take care of it so it wouldn't dry up and so he was very good. We really appreciated that, and we would use him again. One day he said he would be here at 8 in the morning, and he was here at 7:30 which is very punctual.

The tech was out within a day of my call, had the ordered parts by the next day and I was up and running. He was very detailed in his explanations of what went wrong (he left me the old parts he replaced) and what he was fixing and then assured me I would have no extra costs if that wasn't the problem. Great experience.

I was unforntunately paired up with Chris Flores from Advanced Appliance Repair through my home warranty, twice. Neither experince went well, to say the least. I allowed him back the second time thinking maybe we just got off on the wrong foot. I was very wrong about that. I have built two homes, two pools and have had numerous repairs to my homes and worked with service people of varying occupations and specialities over the last 25 years and never have I experienced an individual in the service industry who has been so unprofessional, disrespectful and confrontational as Chris. I went out of my way to be accomodating and polite to this individual even though he did not reciprocate. It's all about Chris and what is convenient for Chris - not you the customer, who's paying for the service. He was never able to complete the service at my home because we could not get past his confrontational personality and decided not to have him return even though we paid the $60.00 service deductible. We chose instead to pay for another company to come out and start the process again rather than have to deal with Chris and having him return to our home. I am sure Chris will respond to my rating and comments, and that his confrontational and sarcastic personality will be present for the readers to see as that is what we have come to expect from Chris Flores. It is surprising to me that Chris feels a need to respond to every rating he receives, even if it is an "A" rating - just seems he always has to get the last "word" in.

It went very smoothly. He came within the window of time we agreed on. He had to take the door apart to clear the area the was preventing the latch to catch. He was very thorough and made sure the dishwasher was working properly.

My washing machine had overflowed. I called Chris and arranged an appointment. He arrived at the scheduled time and checked out my machine. He could not find anything wrong and told me my the machine may have malfunctioned. He only charged me for the service call.

This review is a little late, but wanted to express appreciation for a job well done. Had a problem with over-sudsing and water draining from my washer. Called on a Thursday, the appointment was set up for Monday. Received a call to confirm the appointment on Sunday. Chris showed up promptly on Monday and checked the washer. Removed some debris from a filter area, including a golf tee! Advised that a part would be ordered and the cost, and he would call when the part came in to schedule the installation. I checked online for the price of the part he was replacing versus what he was charging to replace it. His pricing, which included his labor and the know-how to install it, was very much in line with the cost of the part. The return call came within a few days, and said he would be by Friday morning at 8:00 am. He arrived 20 minutes early, and had the part replaced within 20 minutes-outstanding. Also offered some advice about some of our aging kitchen appliances-we will definitely call for service from Chris before replacing some very pricey appliances. He honored the Angie's List Member discount, and overall, was very professional, timely, knowledgable, with reasonable pricing. Will definitely use for future appliance issues.

After contacting several other contractors who were unable to get to my repair for 5-7 days, I decided to give Angie's List a try. After reading positive reviews for Advanced Appliance Repair, I gave them a call & was pleased that they would be able to come out that same day. He contacted me 20 minutes before his arrival to let me know he was on his way. Chris inquired about our problems with the washer - as we had already performed a few basic tasks in an effort to solve the problem before then. I felt this was important, as other contractors may have suggested doing it again .... adding to the expense. He swiftly diagnosed the problem, as we needed a new washer pump. Once again, I was pleased to hear that he had the part in his truck & was able to replace the part during the same visit. Although I was a bit disappointed with the cost (I assume most of us would like it to be less), Chris fully explained the charges to my satisfaction. We will definitely use their services again & would gladly refer him to friends/family.

Showed up on time, had the part on his truck and repaired Oven in 30-minutes.

I called Advanced Appliance Repair on Friday afternoon. I was told that it would be Monday before they could come out. I agreed that would be fine. I was told I would be called on Sunday afternoon with a time window (I was not called that I know of because I had no voice mail, but my phone also unfortunately did not have great service on Sunday either so no points are docked from the rating due to this) of when they would come by on Monday. However, by 9am Monday morning the repair man (Chris) was standing at my door ready to work. I appreciate that he was prompt and took care of our dryer. Ultimately, Chris was unable to completely fix my dryer issue. The squeak was a bearing issue and that was fixed. The issue with it not heating checked out to be an electrical issue and not a dryer issue. He advised me to contact an electrician to have our breaker/line to the house checked concerning our dryer. All in all I would use this company again. I feel like they did me right and took care of the customer.

They were honest and did charge to look at my dishwasher a second time.

Called Chris on the basis of the reviews posted here, and it was a totally painless process. He showed up right on time (first call of the morning), and diagnosed the problem right away, and had the replacement part in his truck. In addition to replacing the part (thermostat), he also identified the likely cause being a ventilation issue... and made sure the air flow was clear so that this would not be likely to happen again. Very professional, will use again.

Lightening fried many of our electronic systems including the oven. Chris was a few mins early for the first appt, on friday, to diagnose the problem. He quickly determined the issue and checked on parts. Lucky for us the parts were in stock. Chris said he'd call on Sunday to set up time for Monday. He called as promised. He was onetime early Monday morning. He quickly fixed. He was very courteous and professional. Thank you.

I called the service number at 2:30 am on Good Friday. He responded within 3 hours and was at my home an hour after he called. His service was fast, clean and efficient. He was very professional and knowledgable. I will use him again and will recommend him to all my friends.
