Our master bathroom was in pretty bad shape. We had both termite and water damage from years prior. I removed the tub and tile myself thinking I might be able to do the work on my own. I quickly realized I was in over my head and needed a professional. I saw the excellent reviews for Stanush Contracting and contacted Dustin. After the initial meeting and subsequent review of the estimate, I felt comfortable enough to select Dustin for the job. Work proceeded just as he outlined. Everyone on the work crew was punctual, polite, friendly, and very professional. Workmanship was excellent. We're very happy with the results and look forward to Stanush Contracting upgrading our guest bathroom. Do yourself a favor and put these guys on your list.

Excellent master bathroom remodel. We chose to purchase a lot of the materials (tile, tub, toilet, 2 sinks, faucets, some paint, etc), since we had specific preferences after shopping around. We picked out a granite slab, for the two master bath counter tops, but leftover material was enough to cover three bathroom countertops upstairs, which they installed. They installed total of 5 counter tops, 5 undermount sinks. The also did all cabinets, refaced/painted dark brown. All tile floor in master bath ripped up, removed old tub, ripped out shower enclosure, removed old toilet. They installed the new tile in a pattern we chose, installed a new tub and faucet, tiled shower enclosure and installed frameless glass shower, installed new toilet, removed/reinstalled large bathroom mirrors with painted wood frame. Fantastic work on everything; it turned out great. Any couple of minor tweaks or touchups/changes were addressed promptly. They did an outstanding job on trying to limit dust during construction, but putting up some "poles" for ceiling-to-floor plastic tarp walls, which helped contain dirt/dust to the bathroom area. Great friendly folks for each phase or part of the project; Dave did an excellent job on the tile, and gave lots of great ideas and advice, as we worked through different options. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Dustin is an organized contractor who brings in good people to do the detail work. His bid was clear and easy to understand with his costs outlined and items we would buy highlighted in yellow. There was no ambiguity in what the project would cost and his estimate did not deviate during the project. His allowance for what we would likely spend on fixtures we would select was pretty reasonable and generally accurate. We spent slightly less. We appreciated that Dustin communicated constantly about the project. He checked in to ensure that his crews were doing their work and leaving our home clean. The little touches of laying down protection for our carpet were appreciated. Anytime we had a concern or question he addressed it immediately. It is not realistic to expect that no questions or issues will come up during a remodel project. What you hope is that your contractor will work with you and help to solve any challenges. We feel confident that Dustin is in the mold of working with his client. When there was a minor concern, he took care of it. Dustin is also timely in his appointments and responses to clients. This is not always true of contractors and is greatly appreciated. Most important, the result in the bathroom is beautiful. The appearance exceeded our expectations. The cabinet refinished and with a new granite top looks completely new. The removal of the popcorn ceilings and new lighting fixtures is a enormous update as well. We are very happy with the result and feel we paid a reasonable amount for high quality work. We expect to hire him again to work on another bathroom in the future and would recommend him to others.

The remodel process took two weeks as promised; the price was reasonable and as bidded from the start; the employees were all professional and personable. Dustin provided honest, accurate and timely feedback. The quality of products and workmanship was excellent. I am very satisfied and happy with this endeavor from start to finish. I have referred Dustin to many of my closest friends and will continue to do so.

We had received bids from Dustin and another highly rated company from Angie's list. We decided on Dustin because he is very personable, knowledgeable, professional and a good listener. He has excellent people working for him and we had no problem leaving them when we needed to leave. David, the tile man did excellent work as well as the painters that re-stained the cabinets. The project took just over a month. We were told approximately 3 wks so we were prepared for about a month anyway. What we liked about Dustin was that when he did come to check on the work he always asked if there were any problems or if we had any questions. He wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied. If there was a problem it would be redone to our satisfaction. Dustin even came in to work himself on a Saturday to make sure the project would be completed sooner than later. We are very happy with the transformation of our kitchen and bath. We will definitely call Dustin to do our guest bath next year. We also have referred him to several friends and family.

We have used him and he's excellent. He did good work in a timely fashion. He was neat and the job was satisfactory to good. We are planning on calling him again.

The process was very orderly. David did the majority of the work but Dustin would assist at times. Both were easy going and a pleasure to work with. Each day prior to coming to the job, David would call me to tell me he was on his way. Dustin would call whenever he was coming over or to check to see how I felt things were progressing. The first job was to rebuild the floor to the laundry room. This was accomplished within a couple of days and it looks fantastic. I requested a door stop be added to the floor and Dustin did it without question. The next job involved rebuilding the steps to the deck. The original steps were too deep and were difficult to go up and down. I explained to Dustin and David how I wanted the steps to be reconfigured and they look fantastic. The steps are much easier for me and some of my friends to go up and down. The extra handrail provides additional assistance. The end product is better than I expected. The big job was to remodel or should I say build a small bathroom. Dustin selected the tiles, colors and fixtures. He brought the materials to me prior to beginning the work for my approval. I loved the colors he selected. I liked the fixtures as well. The only suggestion was the type of shower device which he changed. The original bathroom had to be gutted. My home was built in 1925. It may have been remodeled once since it was rebuilt. David and the plumbers had to remove all of the original fixtures (sink, toilet, bathub, tiles, medicine cabinet, lighting, etc). The plan was to replace the bathub area with a walk in shower. David explained all of the steps to doing this job. There were a number of steps which I can honestly say I don't remember all of the steps. Each day he called me in to show me the progress he had made. He suggested I move the electrical outlet up. It was originally near the floor which was not good since it was close to the shower area. A walkin shower was built to including tiles and accent tiles. The floor was tiled. Walls and ceiling were painted to match the tiles.In addition to fixtures grab bars were installed in the shower as well as near the commode. I cannot describe the quality of work completed. The workmanship was exceptional. As a side note, while they were working on this project, the ceiling sheetrock on the area next to the bathroom fell down. David and the other worker removed this material from the area without charge. That meant a great to me since I am on a walker and would have had to find somebody to remove it for me. Dustin came by to add some additional touches and to make sure I was satisfied with the jobs they had completed. I am completely satisfied. The professionalism displayed by Dustin and David beyond reproach and I would not hesitate to have Stanush Contracting do additional work for me or recommend the company to friends and/or relatives.

I needed a small bathroom remodeled from top to bottom. I had three contractors from Angie's list come out and look at the job. Out of the three, one never even gave a bid and another one was so late in giving me the bid that I had already awarded the job to Stanush Contracting. Dustin came and out had the bid to me within a few days. He was polite and offered suggestions. He told us the job would take one week and he had it done in less than a week. All of the employees were polite, especially David. It made it a joy to do business with them. The bathroom is beautiful and the workmanship is excellent. I would use Stanush Contracting again as well as recommend it to my friends and family.

Working with Stanush Contracting was a pleasure from start to finish. Dustin Stanush is a man of his word. Of several contractors we asked for bids, he was the only one to call back afterwards to ask if the quote had met our expectations. That was indicative of the hands-on approach he took through the entire project. In fact, at several points, Dustin himself worked to finish projects like painting, caulking, and hardware installation. Much of the day-to-day work was done by Carlos. I felt just as comfortable with Carlos as I did with Dustin. Carlos was highly knowledgeable and often suggested good options as the work progressed. He and Dustin kept in constant contact. Like Dustin, Carlos fielded my questions and kept me informed. In addition, he was reliably on time and offered to work over the weekend to finish the project earlier than planned. The Stanush Contracting quote fell in the middle of those we received, but it was Dustin's demeanor that really sold us. It was clear that he was actually interested in helping us meet our needs. (Some other contractors we contacted for quotes seemed only to be going through the motions for "just another job.") I think I can sum it up by saying that Dustin Stanush actually enjoys working with people and likes what he does for a living. Dustin also provided us with some very creative ideas. (Again, some other bidders told us they didn't know how to work around the obstacles presented by our project or that we should just forget our goal of maintaining the character of our 1920s bath and go modern.) Dustin maintained a really comfortable balance between offering suggestions and going with our initial plans (some of which turned out to be impractical). Several problems were encountered along the way. For example, the re-plastering of the bath enclosure walls was unexpected and time-consuming, but Dustin and Carlos (who did the tile work) were adamant that it was the right thing to do - even though slapping up drywall would have been far quicker. It is important to say that Dustin added no additional charge for the many extra hours this glitch added to the project. Dustin stopped in for varying amounts of time each day to check on the progress of the work and made sure we were happy with it as it progressed. When problems arose, he came immediately to see the situation for himself. He took time to explain everything very clearly, particularly when there were difficulties. He made sure we understood what was happening at every step and made sure we were in agreement whenever changes were necessary. I would hire Stanush Contracting again in a heartbeat.

No work was done. He came to give an estimate. Dustin gave a rough estimate but explained it was a rough estimate. It went exceptionally well.

Fantastic! Dustin was a pleasure to deal with from the first time he came to the house to give us an estimate. He was always on time and stayed in contact daily. He came by the house every day there were workers present to check on the job. He did some of the work himself to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. Carlos, who did the tile, was also excellent. He was very good about calling when he was on his way, and he was always very courteous and friendly. David, the plumber, did a good job as well. We were so pleased with the quality and professionalism of Dustin's work that they will be starting on our kitchen remodel in a couple of weeks! Thanks, Dustin, for taking such good care of us!

The guy from Stanush Contracting was super nice. He got back to me immediately.

He furnished us with a quote that had the labor cost on one half and tile, cabinets etc on another half. This concept was easy to work with, he listed all the items I need, their cost and recommend a place to buy them. His list of items where a guideline for me to use, I may spend more or less depending on the quality I wanted installed. I had two other company's bid and Stanush was the only one who suggested what I should spend and not be told like the others what I must spend. We made a few changes as well to the work as we went along without it being a problem one. If you want a fair estimate with exceptional craftsmanship, look no further than Dustin and Stanush Contracting.

Dustin brought the concrete people to my house to meet me before any work was started. A master plan was discussed and a start time was set. Once the work started, a crew was working non-stop until the work was completed, I didn't have to worry about workers not showing up or not showing up on time. Again, I decided to make a change to the work, as with my kitchen remodel, and again they didn't miss a beat. Dustin Stanush inspected the work daily and talked with me to assure it was up to my standards....it was. For a fair price and exceptional craftsmanship, this is the people to do it.

Came to house provided estimate. Remodeling job started in about 3-4 days and was completed in less than a week.

The quote was for around $8000. I decided to delay that project for a while and do it this summer. If I continue with that project probably I would go to them because the estimate was reasonable and I liked the solution they provided. The presentation that they gave was pretty much a review of the materials and design. They took a while to come back with the estimate. I had to do few follow-ups. So as for the responsiveness they could have done better. But he was very personable.

The work went very well overall. I had an entry hole into the ceiling before they started, and when they were done, I had a hatch holding a foldable aluminum ladder and over 250 square feet of 3/4 inch plywood flooring from the rear to the front of the garage roof. The workers completed the hatch and ladder first, including the framing of the hatch on the garage ceiling side, and then they went on to complete the flooring in the ceiling. They were very careful with the existing wiring which is associated with lights and the garage door opener. I was very satisfied with the work they did.

Everything went smoothly from the first time Dustin walked in to talk to us about the work we needed done. He was very thorough and helpful in his suggesstions keeping our costs down. His workers were punctual, professional, friendly and considerate. Carlos,the project manager, was a real pleasure to work with and made sure everything was done to perfection. We had some unexpected plumbing problems come up during the work, but they made adjustments and fixed everything. They even worked weekends to complete the work because we were down to one bathroom in the house. We couldn't be happier with the work and are now saving up to get the downstairs bathroom done. We will be hiring them to do that as well. I would recommend them to anyone!

EXCELLENT WORK!! Both Dustin and Carlos were prompt and courteous. Gave me a price up-front and performed the work for that price. They showed up on time and did not leave until all work was complete. Would highly recommend them for any type of work they perform, and will not hesitate to use them again. It was very refreshing to deal with a company which places such a high value on customer service.

I was not having any luck with returned calls after other general contractors gave me an estimate so I turned to Angie's List and that's where I found Dustin. I called Dustin and he came to look at the work we wanted performed on a Sunday. He was prompt and thorough. He followed up after giving us an estimate and was very easy to work with. He was not too pushy and gave you space if needed. He was also helpful in providing suggestions in regards to colors, lighting, etc. I felt so confident after meeting with Dustin and having a few conversations that I gave Dustin the go ahead to start the remodel while I was traveling out of the country. He helped my wife with all the decisions while I was out of pocket and went above and beyond what was necessary. He always answered my calls no matter what time of day and was easy to reach. I must admit that I was a little hesitant about having a lock box to which his contractors had access but after meeting a few of them I was completely comfortable and had no worries. Dustin was not complete with the job until I was completely satisfied. I would recommend Dustin for future work and enjoyed our experience remodeling the bathrooms with him.

I contacted Dustin Stanush of Stanush Contracting for a remodel of my master bathroom. He was recommended to me by two of my co-workers who were very pleased with remodels that he had done for them. I wanted a complete remodel of our moderately sized master bath. Dustin was friendly and accomodating on the phone, and throughout our project he remained that way. He worked around my schedule and was professional, as were all of the people he hired to carry out the project. He valued our ideas and opinions and worked very hard to accomodate them instead of doing things the way that he wanted to. He was upfront and honest with us when our ideas were unreasonable and/or would result in poor quality. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we are extemely pleased with our beautiful new master bathroom!!

Stanush Contracting did an amazing job! Dustin Stanush was very helpful right from the start. He came and gave a free estimate. We wanted ceramic tile in two living areas and a hallway because it is a rental property. It looks like a hardwood floor. I told Dustin Stanush it was important we get the work done in a timely manner because we had new tenants moving in. He fit us in immediately and they finished the work in less than 3 days. The company was fast but still did a fantastic job. Dustin Stanush also worked with us on price. This was our first time using Angie's List and if Stanush Contracting is representative of the quality of companies that are on Angie's List then I know we will be using them for years to come. We do plan on using Stanush Contracting in our personal home very soon.

Dustin arrived on time as promised. I was amazed because I had just contacted him earlier that same morning. He immediately got to work. The job took on a more complex twist because Dustin did not want to damage the granite countertop. He measured repeatedly to ensure dishwasher aligned properly and was level. He ensured that the solution looked good and made us feel comfortable that he was dedicated to ensuring we were satisfied with his work. He was easy to talk to listened to what we had to say. We would recommend this contractor anytime.
