Mr. Nicola came to the house and gave me a proposal on the interior rooms that required painting. (he was one of 3 estimates) He had an opening to start the job within the following two weeks. He had a supervisor & 2 painters on Monday. Tuesday there was a supervisor and 1 painter that finished the job. Mr. Nicola came to the home and followed up on the painters at the end of their job. There were a few small details that required attention after each day of painting. The detected issues were handled to our satisfaction. The painters were professional, followed instruction well, very punctual, filled small nail holes as needed and cleaned up the job site each day. I would rehire CertaPro for future paint jobs.

Great. Paul, Manny and Robert did an outstanding job. The put up plastic sheeting everywhere in all of the rooms and hallways and when finished they cleaned up everywhere and vacuumed all of the rooms. They were thorough and very professional. A first class job in every way.

Everything went well! From the first phone call to the job being finished everyone was courteous, prompt and timely. I really appreciated that they kept in contact so well and they checked back with me during the project to make sure I was happy with the results. I would definitely recommend this company!

Painted the house trim and did and excellent job

we asked for 3 quotes and took the one with all paint. Painted entrie house trims, kitchen, BRS, 2 different colors. Instrumental in helping us select color. Moved quickly with 4 painters and suepervisor. Superp work and courteous, energy.

They did really good work and very good painting. They had a couple spots that they missed, and we called them and they came back the next day to finish it up. They did good work and they got the job done in 3 days. They were nice to deal with and we were very pleased. They did a good job. They were able to fit us in about a week after I talked to them.

They were absolutely great and super. They did a lot of work for me. I don’t have any problems of any kind. They are very good guys. Their follow up was great. They had someone come every day to check up on the work and the workers to make sure everything was going to plan. Communication was great and you were updated every day. I had no issues with scheduling time to do the work.

It turned out great. They finished within the estimate. They provided all materials and left the surplus paint with us. They finished most of the work in one day and came back the second day and were done by noon. We were able to easily get a date that worked for the both of us to complete the job.

They did a pretty good job. They were friendly and knew what they were doing. They took care of the furniture and were very neat. I would recommend them to others. They got the job done in 3 days. I had 2 teams, and the first team said they would show up at 8:30 but they didn’t come until 9:30. The second team showed up on time and I was very pleased with them.

It started out okay. Two painters showed up with a supervisor when they were supposed to. Supvervisor got them started and then said she needed to go and visit some other projects. That was fine with me until I discovered they only spoke Spanish and I only speak English. We discovered this when they asked to borrow "my" ladder. I thought it odd that painters would show up without their own ladder but went ahead and let them use mine. They were there somewhere between 6-8 hours. I checked on them a few times to offer water. When they were packing up I went in to look at the bathroom, by then the supervisor was back. I told her it did not look good. The texture was to heavy and the lines where the colored paint met the white ceiling were terrible. She told me it would be fine when it dried. I've painted more than a few walls in my time so I knew better but told her okay I would give it time to dry. Well I was right on, it looked just as bad dry. I contacted Anthony Nicola via email that evening and told him I was not happy with the job. He responded back that he was "dissapointed I wasn't satified". No apology but agreed to come and see the mess for himself. When he saw it he remarked that it was worse than he had thought. We set a second date and time, July 5th @ 8:30 a.m. to fix the work. I sent an email to recap the scope of work and to reconfirm the time. His response was only to confirm the time and not address any of my concerns. On July 3rd, the day before the holiday, at 1:09 p.m. I received an email from Anthony with the subject line of "Friday's Touch Up" stating the painters would be there approximately 1:00 p.m. WHAT?! I contacted Anthony and told him this was unacceptable and I did not consider repainting an entire bathroom a touch up. After making it sound as if he were doing me a favor, he agreed to the original time we had scheduled weeks before. Lalo showed up at 8:30 a.m.; however he did not have paint with him so he had to leave to go buy it, two hours later my project was started. Lalo and his crew did a fantastic job fixing what the first painters did other than a few things they were unable to repair. Lalo was also sympathetic and apologetic for the previous work. He was wonderful but at the end of the day my overall experience was bad. I sent the following email ten days ago to Anthony and have yet to receive any response. "Anthony, Lalo saved the day. Ultimately I don?t know that I could recommend your company to family or friends so I hope this feedback will help you for future business. 1. Your entire staff should be aware that when they go to a home in a gated community, they need to call the customer at the gate and not from their cell phone asking for the gate code. We don?t pay for a gate so we can give the code to everyone. 2. You need to figure out a way to take credit cards without writing down everyone?s information. In the wrong hands, that can cause your clientele a lot of trouble. I didn?t like that at all. 3. When I sent you an email trying to address the scope of work AND what time I could expect the painters, you did not address ANY of my concerns. Your response was not one that assured me my problems would be addressed. You only responded to the time, 8:30 a.m., they would arrive. I also did not appreciate the fact that you made the subject line ?touch-ups?. I don?t call scraping, retexturing and painting the second coat, which should have been done the first time, a touch up. 4. The business day before your painters were to arrive you sent me an email changing the arrival time by four and half hours. What if I hadn?t seen your email? You didn?t ask if that worked for me, you simply told me that was when you would arrive. We worked out the time two weeks before this; do you really not think I hadn?t already arranged my schedule? Time changes like this need to be agreed upon mutually and over the phone, not via email. 5. Your first set of painters did irreparable damage to the mortar in my shower and my wood medicine cabinet. I also spent another entire day at home that I would have rather spent doing other things. At minimum you should have discounted my price. That said the second set of painters did the professional job that I expected the first time."

I was so impressed with Anthony and his team. They did a beautiful job painting the exterior of our home, they showed up promptly and worked full days. I really appreciate the daily communication from the painters themselves. I also appreciated that they cleaned up daily.

He had a lot of suggestions and he followed up. He called us to find out what we had decided. He was very courteous and very knowledgeable of his product and shared his company information with us.

They were fantastic and I highly recommend them! I called several painters listed on Angie's list with good reviews. They called back quickly... came out the same day to give us a bid... and started quickly in order to get the job done for me before we had out of town guest arrive. The owner was very professional and responsive to our questions and needs. The two painters who came to do the actual work were very friendly, very customer oriented, hard working, and did great work for us. In order to get the job done in our very short time frame, they even worked till midnight at our request. These guys worked hard the entire time, move our furniture for us, cleaned as they went and made sure to put everything back before they left. One of the best companies we have worked with on Angie's list. We will use them again!

I had already used the vendor, and was not going to shop around after what a phenomenal job they had done previously. Last week, I called Anthony and he arranged to have his crew out here for today to paint my trim. They arrived early, worked the whole day, cleaned up and replaced what they could furniture wise. I just have to wait for it to dry and my house is "holiday ready!"

Overall from start to finish I was very impressed with CertaPro Painters. The price was very reasonable and the sales associate, Anthony, was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. He even helped us select the colors by bringing over color cards so that we did not have to go to the store ourselves. Their exterior painting work was exceptional. The painters were on-time and very easy to work with. They were very careful and respectful of my home. They cleaned up every day and at the end of the job. I love the new look of my exterior and I owe it to CertaPro Painters of NE San Antonio.

I was really pleased with the quick turnaround. Anthony came to my house for an estimate within 2 days of originally calling him. I was able to get scheduled within a week. Then, I was extremely happy with how efficient they were. They took one , short lunch break. It was wonderful that I only had to make arrangements for one day, as well. I had little clean up when they left, just my normal housekeeping. Not only that, I wasn't prepared for just how much a simple change in color would transform and lift the space. People can't believe it is the same house! The previous owners were a little too creative, and the house was just so disconnected. Now I can come in and feel refreshed and like I am home and comfortable from work, instead of agonizing over what it looks like, which I did. I am going to have the painters back to help with other painting projects in the house. I appreciated the time they took to help with consulting me on color and doing a GREAT job.

They did a pretty good job. They made sure they went through the room and looked for any spots that had not been covered properly. They were able to accommodate the texture that I wanted in the room. They did not make a mess and did a good job cleaning up.

The sales associate was very professional and the proposal was detailed and was given to us at the estimate. I scheduled the day I would be available for the project to be completed and the paint crew was on time. They were very courteous and they verified the scope of the project with me before they started. When they pressure washed the deck, they noticed some mold on the vinyl siding on one side of the house. They offered to clean that as well and now it looks great. Once the deck was dry they applied the stain. They masked off the siding of the house to keep a clean work area. I was thrilled that they even stained the ramp I had made in the backyard at no extra charge. The deck looks great!
