These folks do a wonderful job. They done several projects for us and we just hired them to complete another exterior painting job that will involve repairing some wood trim prior to painting. Based on past performance I expect we'll have the same top quality work as before. All of the folks we've dealt with have be super helpful, courteous, and professional. Would definitely hire them again.

From the original bid to completed project - service was great Angelo came out and gave us bid and after HOA approved CertaPro sent Christian, Juan and Alberto out to complete the work. Their attention to detail and making sure we were happy with the work was much appreciated. We love the new look to our home. It looks brand new!

BEWARE THEY WILL NOT HONOR QUOTE GIVEN!! All I can say is WOW!! Not only did they mess us tremendously on our first house but their business practice is STILL ***** poor now with our 2nd home. We thought we'd give them another shot on our new house, thinking maybe something changed. NOPE! Still same ol same! We received a quote from them a couple months back, unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel during that time, but definitely planned on having them back out when money was better. I contacted them today to see if we just did the walls and ceilings (removing the baseboards) on that previous quote what it would be. Come to find out it was MORE! than the previous quote. How did that make any sense! Angelo told me "It turns out when we created your last proposal it was when we had recently changed over to a new computer program and it never accounted for the cost of materials and labor". So I asked "y'all won't honor that quote?" his response "Unfortunately no" he then had the audacity to say "We certainly go lucky you canceled the day before" ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!? I told him I would contact the owner regarding this and he said "They'll tell you the exact same thing. I'm sitting right next to them" I find this extremely rude and not a way to handle and diffuse the situation properly. This is NOT someone I would ever recommend doing business with if this is how they practice.

Job went perfectly. Lalo and his crew arrived on time, and worked quickly. They left house neat and clean when they were done. Painted whole house (approx. 3300 sq ft) in 2 1/2 days. We found a couple of spots for touch up, and they came that day and took care of that immediately. We couldn't be happier.

We are very pleased with every aspect of having our house painted by CertaPro painters. Juan Carlos Hernandez was the job supervisor and made sure everything went smoothly. He and his crew were punctual and professional. They completed the job fairly quickly while doing an excellent job. We would certainly use them again - in fact we are considering finding more for them to do.

The painters did a very good job painting our house and they made minor stucco repairs. Minor errors were corrected within a week. I would recommend CertaPro to my friends.

I've used them twice. I liked them. He came late. I don't know if I would use them again. They were expensive. They had to come back to touch stuff up. I didn't argue, but it took a lot of babysitting to get things painted.

LONG REVIEW_WORTH THE READ!!! Angelo is great! Only thing..Homeowners, make sure you have a clear understanding of what you are contracting for. We had an estimate done. I was calling the bordering area around the windows the trim. Therefore, when the contract listed window trim to be painted it was satisfactory to my specifications. HOWEVER, at the close of the paint job and inspection, these items along with areas around my front door were not painted. First the painter said the color selection I picked for areas around my front door (door jam...) they did not make in that type of paint. HUH???? Then the painter said what I wanted painted around the windows was not the trim and they would not paint these areas because it was not in the contract. We live in a brick home and as the painter showed me, our windows have no window trim around them. He said what I wanted painted was the metal frame of the windows. I immediately contacted Angelo about this, who also informed me the area around the windows was not the trim as I was calling it. I explained to Angelo when he came out to our home for the estimate I called it trim at that time and no one said to me that was not the trim. Angelo said it was called something else (Can't remember different name )- which the painter said it was the window frame and not even what Angelo told me it was called. So, my advice to Angelo is - it is best to have a general drawing diagram of window and door parts of a painting job to make sure customers totally understand what they want in "painters terms" because it is apparent that everyone is using different words to describe different things . I gave four stars for Angelo's customer service, but had to take a star back because of the contractor's customer service. Angelo is great and did the best he could do aside from refunding me some of our money. He understood the mis-communication and we eventually agreed that the painter would paint the window frames on the front view of the home and the sides of the house because these areas are visible to the public. The frames on the back of the house would not be painted. Low and behold, the painter was not happy with this arrangement. He complained the entire time when he learned he had additional work to do, he attempted to charge me, but I referred him to Angelo and he stopped. He told me he just came to my house to get the payment and this was a half day of additional work he did not bargain for and he had his family in the car...yada yada. I told him he could take them home and come back, I understood that much. The painter refused and his wife and toddler sat on my front lawn, walked around part of my yard, the child banged on my window screens until I came outside and the mother gathered him up. The painter was at my home about 1 1/2 hours and was ready to leave. I realized he was not going to do all that Angelo and I discussed he would do. I was so "done" I politely signed off and called my payment into Angelo. I paid our handy man to complete the painting of the the window frames on the the side of the house and in the back. You can choose your battles. I was ready to throw in the towel. This was not about Angelo, but the company that was contracted to do the work. I was caught in the middle. The painter did good quality work, but did not do it all of the work. I found out weeks later that later that my husband had to clean-up afterwards because the crew didn't.

They were very helpful through the whole process. I needed the job done by a certain day to accommodate moving in and they were able to meet that with no problem.

We wanted to paint about 85% of a 5300 sq ft house. We received about 6 estimates and decided on Certapro for a few reasons. We liked how you dont pay anything until the job is finished and their warranty after the job is complete. The owners of this franchise tout how they are veterans and as a fellow veteran I wanted to give my business to them. Their price was right in the middle of all the estimates we received. Let me start by saying the customer service by the owners/family is outstanding. Angelo always returned our calls and was very professional. That being said, you need to educate yourself with Certapro. They hire subcontractors and you dont know who will paint your house. The site manager is probably well known to the owners but they then hire and pay their own crew. Our crew leader was Enrique and his guys couldnt prep/paint worth a dime. We were told the on site supervisor would be at the site throughout the job. Enrique was gone the first two days. While he was gone, his crew did such a terrible job I had to call Angelo. Their prep was so terrible they painted on our custom cabintery, lines on the wall bled paint below where it was taped, our baseboards and window frames were full of paint. Also, when the painters removed our outlet frames, they put them back on full of caulk. I wont even get into how they painted on our towel racks because they didnt have a .50 cent allen wrench. At one point a painter accidentally hit our ceiling with a gray paint roller (ceiling is white) and he immediately looked at me to see if I saw him. He got a rag and wiped it. Guess what, still gray paint on my ceiling and no Enrique around. When Enrique showed up the next day, i had to poi t it out to him as his crew never told him. I was asked if I had ceiling paint....really? I just moved into the house 2 months earlier. They eventually matched and purchased paint and Enrique fixed the ceiling. Angelo did come to the house. I explained all my angst and he assured us we would be happy in the end with the job. I explained my wife and I want to be happy during the job. Angelo told us Enrique was looking for paint at different stores that is why he was missing. That is unacceptable. We gave the company our colors a week prior. Remember I said the crew leader hires their own painters. So on the third day of a six day job, two new guys come to paint the outside window frames. On day four Enrique tells us they arent answering their phones so he finishes the window frame painting himself. Unbelievable! On day three, Enrique told us the job will be completed in 4 days. We emailed Angelo asking if this was true because the job looked half done to us. Angelo emailed they were ahead of schedule. Guess what, six days. The guys rushed and the job was horrible. On the last day as I walked around with Enrique to show where his guys missed, another painter was touching up. Every spot that was near the ceiling, his painter would paint gray onto the ceiling. Lucky we had that new can of ceiling paint! After Enrique and his crew left, my wife and I saw many spots that needed another coat of paint. Different lighting showed this which is common. We were also not happy with the bleeding of pai t on our baseboards. We knew we had the warranty and with our busy schedules we waited 2 months to contact Angelo (original job completed Feb, 2017). He was very reaponsive and we asked to fix the problems. Angelo/Anthony (the owner) sent put a new crew. We made sure to ask that Enrigue was not sent back. We got Aisha and Catfish. What a difference!! They were awesome. They took 5 days more to fix the 6 day mess of Enrique and his crew. If Aisha came out the first time I would give this company a 5 star review! If you think I am just complaining why did it take a new crew 5 days to fix this job! Lucky I work from home otherwise this would have been a big disaster to have to take time off for 5 more days. If you go with this company ask a lot of questions about the crew you get and stay on them. Ask for Aisha, she is a real professional!

I was okay with that. I wasn't real excited. Not jumping up and down excited. It was originally painted a bright yellow and I wanted to get rid of that. Back then they were great. The painters were good.

Very Good. It took a little longer than they expected, but weather got in the way. The railings look great and I hope the paint lasts for several years. The change in color to the front door has gotten a number of compliments and it looks like it should have been that color all along!

The painting went better than expected. We had a few hiccups in getting scheduled but it went smoothly after they got started. The work done was exceptional including some minor drywall repair and priming and painting. They were able to cover a number of stains and blemishes as well. the walls and ceiling look brand new despite being nearly twenty years old. We will definitely use them to paint a few other areas in the future.

The whole operation was totally professional. The initial visit was made by Angelo Nicola and he gave me a great price for the work that needed to be done. The scheduling of the work was at my convenience and they showed up on time, did a great job, and a super cleanup. The Work Leader, Lalo was extremely courtesy, thoughtful and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied.

The painters were professional and very prompt. They did a good painting job and cleaned up afterwards.

Excellent people. From sales to supervisors to painters, all were friendly and eager to please. House was basically prepped and painted in one day with excellent results.

Project was delayed one day due to weather impact on another job. We were notified of the delay serval days in advance. Team arrived promptly on the rescheduled day. They were very speedy and completed the entire job in two days but they only put one coat down and I suspect we are seeing a mix of SW grassland and original KM bone but the number of coats wasn't specified in contract and resulting color is acceptable to us. During the job, noticed several areas with poor coverage which were promptly addressed. Walk thru occurred while some rooms were still wet so it was only after the job completed that some banding and poor coverage areas were noticed. Lalo came out and resolved. One Sheetrock repair was performed in the kitchen where a recessed light once existed. The repair did not turn out as well as expected. The drop texture and sheen are noticeably different than surrounding areas. In addition have found paint splatter on various door handles and hardwood floor indicating existing areas were not protected as well as they should have been. We did not call the company out again due to the hassle and were able to clean up ourselves.

They paid attention to what I needed to have done and they worked the plan that worked for us. They were in Angie's List. We've got a couple of quotes and theirs was the best quotes. Other than recommending them, I thought they were professional and they did a good job of keeping things clean. They seemed to be trustworthy and their work seemed to be what they represented.

The job was done professionally and as requested. I will hire them again when I need painting done. They were outstanding.

All went very well. As good as we could have hoped for. We called the for more work a few months later.

all in all it went pretty good . I want to praise the supervisor Lalo who went up and beyond his duties to satisfied us. He was always curitous and polite. If we saw any small problems he would take care of it . this was a 5 day work project and all the painters were very professional. every morning they showed up with clean clothes and a shirt with the company's logo. we are seniors and this project was very hard and disruthtive in our lives so it was good to have someone like LALO the supervisor to be so responsive to our concerns. the only problem that I encounter was during the initial walk thru with Anthony showing him the house that I wanted the interior of the house painted except the ceiling but there were some areas that needed some repair on the ceiling. now after about two days of painting I noticed that the closet shelf was not being painted. LALO the supervisor said that was not in the contract. he contacted Anthony and after I spoke with him the matter was resolved in my favor. I bring this up because when I told Anthony I wanted Interior painted except ceiling there were no mention of extra money for painting closet shelves. tha

My experience from the start of the reach-out to Anthony Nicola was very positive. Anthony was very professional in the way he handled the review of the work that I wanted to have done, along with the accompanying proposal. He also did a great job when he came to my home to match colors, (as I was essentially keeping all of my existing colors throughout the house). Our project was led by Eulalio Arriaga (Lalo). From the moment I met Lalo, I felt comfortable with him and his ability to get the job done. He was very professional from the start, beginning with the walk-through of the project. He was a leader to his crew and communicated clearly and efficiently each day during the course of the project. I work from my home, and as a result was present during the entire scope of the project. The crew worked diligently each day and exhibited great respect for my home and for the work that they were commissioned to complete. I was very impressed with the work ethic demonstrated by Lalo and his crew throughout the project. They took great care and pride in the craftsmanship of the repair of ceiling and wall damage in my 90 year-old home. I was very pleased overall with the quality of the job that was performed. The constructive criticism that I can offer is that the crew was only allocated 4 days to complete the job and the amount of work clearly exceeded the time allotted. The crew worked the weekend to finish the job (5 ½ days) and they were rushed and stressed. There was no oversight of the project by the company ownership, other than the initial proposal and color consultation. It was up to my husband and me to do quality review checks and point out things that had been missed/in need of touch-ups. Due to their next work commitment, the crew had to move on and did not have time to perform the ?clean-up? and put furniture back in place as we had expected. In the end, Lalo and his team delivered a high quality job. We were pleased with the end result and the high work standards exhibited. The work was done for a fair price and we will definitely use them again in the future.

I spoke with Amy in the office (who was very friendly and courteous) to arrange a meeting with Anthony, the owner. I had found his company on Angie's List. Anthony arrived on time for the appointment and I was impressed with his appearance (uniform with company logo) and the portfolio full of brochures. He guaranteed excellent workers, high quality paint, and a supervisor who would explain the work undertaken for each day of the job. I had taken bids from several other companies, and I selected CertaPro for a variety of reasons. One of the reasons was a free one-hour consultation with a home decorator, who was very helpful in selecting color schemes. Anthony had brought over a swatch of Behr paint samples for me to look at, but I didn't find any colors that appealed to me. The decorator worked mostly with Sherwin Williams, and I loved the color swatches and brochures that she showed me! I decided to go with four different colors to paint the walls and three accent walls/niches. The crew with one supervisor, Lalo, and two other painters arrived promptly. They were scheduled for three days beginning Friday, April 21st. The crew was fabulous! They were so respectful, organized, hard-working, and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day. They didn't take long breaks or talk on their cell phones. They did an extraordinary job on the detail for the inset niches so that no feathering resulted along the edges where two different colors came into contact (hard to do). They were supposed to work Friday, Saturday, and finish the following Monday. Unfortunately, Anthony scheduled them for another job Monday, so Lalo had to work Sunday as well. He had a hard time finding someone to work with him as one of his crew was ill, so there were just two of them all day Sunday. I felt terrible that the crew had been over-booked and that they didn't get any time off over the weekend. Also, I didn't think if was fair of Anthony to go back on his word after he had already booked the dates with me. Lalo came back Tuesday to do some touch-ups after the final walk-through and payment to Anthony. I was pleased with the overall job (due to the crew's efforts), but I took off points for two things: One, the decorator specifically told Anthony I wanted Sherwin Williams paint/colors and the contract I signed listed that information. I didn't find out until the painters were half way done that he substituted Behr paint instead (not stated anywhere on contract). When I told Anthony that the colors were not the same shade (I did paint boards before ordering paint) he didn't apologize. He just said condescendingly that Behr was better paint. I felt this was underhanded and poor business practice to deceive a customer. Two, I did not like the oily look of the Behr paint. It might have been similar in color, but the properties were not the same as what I picked out and altered my color scheme. For these two reasons I would not recommend this company to anyone else. However, I would hire Lalo & crew anytime if they did odd jobs on the side.
