Concerning ENCORE ROOFS, (Owner: Brian Kinnaman), we are completely satisfied with the services we received. We had the old roofing on our house removed and new roofing materials put on. Brian is very knowledgeable and uses quality materials. We were really impressed with his work ethics which includes honesty and doing the right thing. We paid exactly what he bid for the job, which did not include sales tax. He let us know what he was going to do and informed us of any issues. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. We would recommend Encore Roofs to anyone for their roofing needs. We believe you will be completely satisfied just as we were.

Brian did an excellent job. He efficiently broke through a couple of ice dams and removed the ice and snow without any damage to the shingles.

Awesome. Encore was very customer friendly and did a great job. Also very prompt and conscientious about the work.

Brian and one helper were able to get the excess snow and ice removed, including a large ice dam that had formed.

Brian and Ryan did a great job, worked hard and got it all cleared .He put ice melt on the patio cover so it would melt and keep melting even though we are getting more snow. I was very impressed with both of them. I am keeping his number , and if I ever need help again that's who I would call!

I can't say enough good things about Brian (the owner of Encore Roof). He knew I was shopping around, but he still took the time to give me advice and some guidance as far as what to look for and some things to consider when evaluating roofers. I spent a good amount of time on the phone with him throughout the process and he was willing to go into detail about some of the options I had and what items would be most critical/useful for my budget and situation. Brian is the sort of old-school craftsman who is knowledgeable about his trade and proud of the work he produces. He's also a good business owner in general, who is happy to reply promptly and thoroughly to questions or concerns. He did not try to upsell me (which is one thing that a number of other local companies were pushy about), and one thing I really appreciated was how thoughtful he was through the entire process. Some specifics that I really appreciated and wanted to mention: - He knew I was concerned with the color of my shingles and flashing (mostly because of how indecisive my wife and I were with picking a colour), so he took the initiative to show me how the new shingle color looked with the existing patio cover that I wasn't replacing just to be sure I was happy before he proceeded. - He also took the time to double-check with me regarding the color of flashing I had originally requested because it was going to clash with the color siding of my house, which I greatly appreciated because it would have looked strange if he didn't catch my mistake. - As I mentioned initially, he was happy to speak with me extensively about roofing in general to help me become better educated about the project I was shopping for. This is turning into a somewhat long and rambling review, so I will leave it with this short summary: Brian is a great tradesman and a pleasant person in general to deal with. His prices were in line or lower with the other half-dozen estimates that I received, but I would have still went with him if he were more expensive because the peace of mind and pleasantness of the entire project would have been well worth it.

The gentleman was able to clean out all the gutters out after not being done for a few years. Even thou they where frozen solid Encore Roofs was able to remove the debris and got the gutters flowing again. We will be using them in the future.

We contacted Encore Roofing’s owner, Brian, for an estimate to re-shingle our roof. Brian came to the house promptly at the assigned time, took measurements, took notice of dips in the roof that we pointed out to him and discussed various remedies. Within a day Brian returned with an estimate for the job; plus we discussed possibilities involving the visible dips in the existing roof. We spoke by phone and decided to begin work the following Monday. Brian said he would order the materials and we could give him a check for ½ the estimate when he arrived to begin work that Monday and we would sign the contract at that time. True to his word, Brian’s crew and the materials were ready to go that Monday morning. As we expected, when the old shingles were removed Brian found some problems with the sheeting and some beams. He informed us of the problems with pictures and verbally. Together we made a decision on the best course of action to remedy the situation. By Thursday our roof was completed, as promised by Brian. The problems that had been anticipated cost less than $800 above the original estimate to correct. By the way, each day they cleaned up so that you wouldn’t know they had been there. We would gladly and wholeheartedly recommend Encore Roofing to anyone who asks us about our experience. Our roof looks terrific.

Brian at Encore Roofs did an excellent job evaluating our needs, communicating with us about the job and keeping his commitments. He suggested ways to improve the quality of the job and delivered on his ideas. We will be back in touch with Brian in the future.

Very well, polite and concerned about customer satisfaction

Encore Roofs was better than punctual. Brian came the day before our scheduled appointment, matched and replaced the damaged shingles before the rain that was forecast on our appointment date. He also replaced a cracked pipe boot and caulked several cracked plastic roof vents at no additional charge.

Brian was able to come by within a few hours of my call. Inspection was thorough, outside and inside house. He was able to clean gutters at the same time.

They were excellent. They were on-time. They did the roof repair perfectly, even did an inspection and touched up some other spots. They also charged us exactly what they said they would.

The work was really good with all the good equipment, 32 year old roof replacement, They were fast and neat, did the work real good, took them a couple of days to complete but they did a good job. The roof looks nice, done a great job cleaning up the area, covered everything for protection. I was very happy with the service, trimmed everything well. he arrived when he said he would be here. A 15 year warranty on the roof quality and workmanship was provided.

Excellent. Brian was highly professional, courteous and responsive. He talked through his bid in detail before we made a commitment. He called immediately upon discovering a potential installation problem to discuss risks and workarounds. As it happened he did find a zero-cost workaround that solved the potential installation problem. One of the reasons we called for a bid from Brian is because he took a look at a section of flat roof on another property and advised me to fix a few spots myself and not perform unnecessary work even though to an amateur eye the roof condition looked a little scary. Brian is top notch - I recommend him highly.

Brian was one of three roofing companies that received my Angie's list submission. He called that evening, Monday 29 October, and said he would have time to come out early the following week. Sure enough, he called on Monday 5 November and asked if he could come out. Since I did not have any luck with the other two companies, I said come on out, not really expecting too much. He was here in about 20 minutes, saw what needed to be done and left to go to the supply store he uses and got the two metal vents and was back in about 30 minutes. He went up on the roof and was done in about 15 minutes. We are seniors and not in good health, but we used to be that kind of worker. We were very impressed with Brian. Since we are not able to do our own repairs now, it is good to have a person we can rely on to help us out.

During the sale of the home, the home inspection found that some of the roof vents were cracked. They had to be replaced prior to the signing. I looked up roof repair companies and their reviews, and called a few of them to see when they could take a look and give me an assessment. Brian at Encore Roofs was the only one who was willing to squeeze me in to his schedule to come out and take a look. He obviously had a full schedule and could only meet me in the small amount of time between other jobs, but he took the time to do so. We adjusted the meeting time, but he showed up in the window of time we agreed to. He was quick but thorough, and presented several repair scenarios. We agreed to one and he gave me a price range that was dependent upon time to complete the job. I was a bit nervous at first, because there was a minimum cost and the hourly rate was more than I expected. But he agreed to complete the job prior to the signing date, so we decided to move forward. I was out of town when I heard that the buyers wanted to sign early. I contacted Brian, explained the unexpected early signing, and ask if he could move up my job timeline. He didn't have an opening, but ended up agreeing to help me out by doing it outside of his normal work day. He showed up to do the job one day earlier than I expected, and completed it efficiently, in a shorter amount of time than anticipated. I had it looked over by a friend later who agreed that it was also quality work. Because of his efficient work mannerisms and resulting shorter schedule, the price ended up being less than expected. I was extremely happy with Brian's work and grateful for his flexibility and willingness to help me out, when it was an inconvenience for him that he didn't charge me extra for. I have been burned in the past by contractors, but Brian has shown himself to be highly ethical and trustworthy. I whole-heartedly recommend him.

I would highly recommend this company and person to anybody. He did an excellent job. Always on-time and very conscientious about everything he was doing. He just has excellent product and workmanship.

Encore Roofs, Brian Kinnaman, is top of the line. Choose Encore Roofs if you are thinking of roof replacement or repair. You won’t regret it. Brian really knows his craft. Before coming to the Tri-Cities, Brian installed roofs in the mid-west where the weather is more severe. He knows things and has experience that many roofers here don’t have. His work ethic is impeccable. He takes great pride in his work and treated our roof as his roof. When he found some unexpected issues he communicated them clearly and offered options for remediation. He was careful about our property and kept the work areas clean. Brian did a tremendous job replacing our roof, I can’t imagine a better outcome. I think he’s the best there is around here.

Brian Kinnaman of Encore Roof just finished re-roofing our house and shop. I called him about the roofing job and he promptly came by on 5/29/18 to give an estimate. He started on Monday in the rain and finished in 4 days on a windy Thursday, keeping the roof covered as needed. He had some help from Sanchez, but worked mostly by himself. He was professional from start to finish and answered my calls when I phoned, or returned them in a timely manor. He would clean up on a daily basis. I would highly recommend Brian as he takes pride in his work.

The installation was fantastic, Bryan was very professional. very knowledgeable picked an excellent product and the installation was flawless. We highly recommend him for a roofing project. I actually had 4 other estimates and his quotation was the lowest.

In preparation for solar panel installation, I needed to get a new roof. After searching the usual places these days (Google, Yelp, Angie's List) and obtaining several quotes, Encore Roofs quickly became the clear favorite. Brian was punctual, descriptive, enthusiastic, and very fairly priced, especially considering the quality of the materials used. He removed the old oil furnace chimneys, tore off the old roof, prepped, and installed the new roof without making any mess of my yard. Roofing shingles are Certainteed, and after discussion with Brian, I went with a Lomanco ridge vent. Installed roof looks great, so I'm super happy that I found Encore.
