Paul was very helpful and arrived promptly to give us an estimate. His manager, Lee, did an excellent job supervising all work and clean up. He even ran interference with a difficult neighbor and checked to make certain that I was satisfied with all work before leaving. I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking landscaping or tree trimming services!

They were fine. I called them and they gave me a quote over the phone. He came to remove the tree in the front yard. After I saw his work, I got some other jobs done by him.

A large hackberry tree in our yard came down in a recent heavy rain and wind gusts. We contracted with the City of Dallas to cut and stack the tree, which they did. A three-foot stump remained. Someone referred us to Paul Hanson. He arrived the same morning that the tree was removed, about an hour after receiving our telephone call. He dispatched a contract workman to the scene. He used a small tractor with an extensible rotating disk containing multiple diamond cutting lugs on the end of pivoting hydraulic arm. The machine operator was expert at positioning and manipulating the saw, and he complted the work in about an hour. Both Paul and the machine operator were personable and a pleasure to deal with.

Great service all around. Paul came out and gave me an estimate, we agreed on the price, and then he gave me a window when he and his guys would show up. They came out when they said they would, did the work quickly and efficiently, and were gone, just like that. The total for the job ($100) was a bargain, and represents one of the few instances in which having work done on my home cost less than I expected. (Paul waived his normal minimum of $150.) Plus, there was no hard sell on doing additional work, which was great.

Great experience, called Paul late one day and Lee came out for an estimate the next. Guys showed up on time and really new what they were doing. My trees have never looked better. Will definitely use this company again. Friendly and professional.

The job was great. I called Paul on a Tuesday and he gave me quote the same day. He was able to get a team out the next day. They arrived early, did a great job, cleaned it up and hauled it all away.

This is the second time that we've hired Perfect Trees, and they have done a great job both times. The owner was able to stop by and give me an estimate on the same day that I called. They sent a crew to my house two days later to complete the work. The crew foreman, Ryan, reviewed the work they were planning to complete before they started, to ensure that they understood correctly. After they completed the work, Ryan reviewed with me to make sure that I was satisfied. I recommend Perfect Trees and will certainly hire them for future tree trimming needs.

Paul walked the property,we talked about options and we settled on a plan. His crew was on time, ready to go and worked diligently without taking a single break and everything was stacked on the curb in less than a few hours. The crew chief was there the whole time, and kept the guys on task, and asked me questions to make sure they got everything perfect. And they did. Thanks guys!

I received a letter in the mail from Perfect Trees stating how much I was appreciated as a Angie List customer and offering to provide a free gutter cleaning with any tree work. What a deal so I took them up on it since I had been meaning to call them anyway. Having used Perfect Trees in the past and knowing Paul (the owner) provides a very competitive price, I did not bother to call any other service companies for estimates. Basically, I trust Perfect Trees and what more can one ask for! I called Perfect Trees on a Friday and described the work. Paul offered to come out Saturday, give me a price and do the work if the price was acceptable. I took him up on the offer and they were at my house at 830 Saturday morning. We agreed on a price that seemed fair to me and the crew got right to work. It took them about 3-4 hours to do the work and they did a great job. They did everything that Paul and I had discussed and did a great job of cleaning up all the debri. After they finished my work they moved to the neighbor's house across the street and did some work for him and then moved to the neighbor's house behind me and did some work for him. I noticed today (2-days later) they are taking down a tree on my east neighbor's property.

I called Paul to clean up my grandmothers property as I have become responsible for the upkeep. When I called Paul told me he was down the street and would come same day. Within an hour Paul came and introduced himself to my elderly grandmother and listened to her needs as my grandfather (who passed 4 months ago) had previously been responsible for the groundskeeping. Paul made her feel extremely comfortable which was my goal as she is a German immigrant and is very leery of strangers especially leery of people in the service industry. We three walked trough the yard as she and he talked about the trees history and their importance to her (and me) and eventually came to an agreement about their goal. Paul said he would send his "best crew" (I haven't seen a bad one) to take care of her. They came 5 minutes early the next morning which was saturday and did all they said they would do. When I met them to settle up the crew chief showed me around and I was very pleased. He also showed me how they had cleaned the gutters on all 4 corners as part of their service. When I arrived to settle up with the workers I was shocked by how much was done for $550. I would recommend Paul to everyone. Not just because of the service but because he set my grandmother at ease who has never paid for tree work in 44 years of living in her home. We were quite pleased with them. They were reasonable, reliable, and very professional. Compared to others we chose them because the price was more reasonable and it turned out that they did a lot for the money I paid.

Paul Hanson came out Wednesday to give me a quote. He was punctual and informative. I had already met with two other companies, but hired him on the spot not just because of a good price but because he seemed to really understand what I did and did NOT want done to my trees. His crew came out the next morning, 45 minutes later than expecting due to rain, but they called to let me know of the delay. Luckily by 10 it was clear and Abell (the supervisor) did a walk around my yard with me to be sure we were on the same page about what trees were being cut, how much was being cut, etc. The crew worked hard and quickly. One negative was when I went out back to see how work on the big oak was going, I discovered that they had been dropping branches on my newly planted shrubs. I pointed this out, and Abell immediately had them removing the deadwood and branches with apologies (the shrubs seem fine). This is why I gave a B for quality because it seems like it should be no brainer to be mindful of newly planted shrubbery. This is the only place where I felt they could have been more careful. On site we priced out an additional work on another tree that I thought could be left out for trimming this year, but had second thoughts. Since I had planned the trimming to coincide with bulk trash, they piled everything neatly on the curb in front of the house. I was amazed at how much dead wood was up in my big trees! I was pleased with the result and would hire them again.

I called Paul and left a message on his company voicemail at 4:30pm yesterday. He called me back within 20 minutes, met me this morning for a quote before I had to go to work and had the job done by 4:00pm. I elected to have them leave the pile here as it is bulky trash pick up week and it makes it a little cheaper. When he got here this morning he greeted me as usual with his energetic and fun demeanor. He immediately saw the sick hackberry and asked if i parked under it. When I told him I did he walked over to my truck (which was not under the tree at that time) and pointed out that i had sap and junk all over my roof that I had not seen as my 3/4 ton truck is very tall. He gave me a tip about how to get it off that i tried on my lunch break and it actually worked...(use red wine vinegar and a little elbow grease). He gave me a price to take down the tree and remove it or to take it down and stack it. I elected to stack it as I mentioned earlier. Paul then said while his crew was here hed like to do some work on the feature tree and to clean up the property. I told him money is pretty tight and it would have to be at a later date. He told me he would do the extra work for $150 more as I am a five time repeat customer and I about fell over. Needless to say I accepted and told him I appreciated it very much. When I got home about 30 minuted ago I could not believe how much extra work they had done. Everything is neatly stacked in a huge but good looking pile and I notices they took a tree light out of the tree they removes and attached it to the power line pole! Wow! I am extremely satisfied once again with Paul and Perfect Trees!

Last Friday, one large branch broke off my Pecan tree. I joined Angie?s list last year and have been pleased with the contractors I have used. I found Perfect Tree Service and the man came out. He gave me an estimate of $350 ($400 if he hauled it all away, not necessary in Plano) to get rid of that branch and trim all of my trees including anything near my roof, removing branches to allow more light and a little trimming on a neighbor?s tree which was growing into a part of one of mine. I got two more estimated, about $700+ each. Sometimes things seen too good to be true, but he made a good impression, so I let him do the job. My wife was elated at the results.

Paul came the same day I called to give an estimate. He followed up with his crew the next day, and they did a wonderful job. Paul called while the guys were still here to make sure I was satsfied with the work. I would recommend them over & over again!!!!

I saw the good reviews on Angies List so I decided to call Perfect Trees out to trim my shaggy trees in the front yard. This was right after a really big storm, so most houses in the neighborhood had several big branches down. The guy from Perfect Trees asked when the last time I had the trees trimmed and I told him it was one year prior (summer 2008). He said whoever did that job obviously didn't know what they were doing because the trees were in such bad condition that they looked like they hadn't been trimmed in at least 3 years. He quoted me a price of $800, which I thought was extremely high, but I figured the reason I had paid so little the year before (~$200) was because those guys were supposedly amateurs. He also said he would trim the bushes for no additional charge. I figured, you get what you pay for, so might as well pay to get it done right. The guys came out the next day and did a wonderful job of trimming; finished very quickly and did a professional job. I want to emphasize that the actual work crew was very professional and I have no problem with them. The problem I had with this company was the guy who came out initially to give me the quote. A few weeks after this, I went back to look at my records to see what amateur company -did- trim our trees in 2008, and guess what I found?? Perfect Trees themselves had trimmed our same two trees in 2008 for 1/4 of the price!!!!! Not only that, but then I came on Angies List to look at other comparable jobs posted here, and most of the other similar trimming jobs on here were in the $200-300 range!! I really hate to think that Perfect Trees was engaging in price gouging due to the big storm, but at this point, all evidence is pointing to that being the case.

It went extremely well. I had called for an estimate from another company and it was going to take 2 weeks to get the estimate. I called Perfect Trees and he was able to give me an estimate that afternoon and had the work completed the next day for an AMAZING price. I was asked him to come back and remove a couple more smaller trees after seeing what a great job he'd done.

As a result of a severe storm that moved through the Collin County area on the night of June 10th, we had several trees severely damaged by high winds. I engaged Perfect Trees the night of the storm to come out the next morning to clear the debris and trim up the trees. Paul Hanson answered his cell phone at 830 pm and discussed the work with me. Having used Perfect Trees in the past, Paul graciously rearranged his work schedule to accommodate me and two other neighbors that had used Perfect Trees previously. The quick response and consideration extended by Perfect Trees was greatly appreciated by all three of us. The crew arrived early the next morning and after assessing what had to be done and agreeing on a cost, the crew got to work. Paul did the same for the other two neighbors. The work took most of the day. The crew climbed the trees, cut the debris and hauled it off all day. Once they finished, all looked pretty normal again except for all the missing limbs and the missing tree. Two days later, another sub to Perfect Trees came out and ground the stump of the tree removed. They did a great job too and exercised extreme care not to hit any underground sprinkler pipes.

The workers at Perfect Trees did a wonderful job. They were very quick and punctual. They came out immediately and got it done. They were very responsive and they did a great job. They cleaned up and I was very pleased with them. It was a good price and I would use them again.

The company generally did a fine job, however the estimator was late and apparently did not communicate with the office when we authorized the work. As a result, it was not performed when expected. Once we reach the company, they told us the work had not been scheduled but would be done the next day. It was actually done 3 days later. They did not follow up with us to communicate the revised scheduling. This was my only complaint.

I chose Perfect Trees Service because of ratings and reports from other users on Angie's List. They returned my call within 30 minutes and someone was at my house within 5 hours and the job was completed that day--- the most thorough tree timming I have had over the years. And the price was very reasonable. Showed honesty when I was asked if I wanted them to clean out the tree with more trimming, and I asked if it looked as if it needed it, and they replied "no, it doesn't need more trimming." They could have told me yes, and I would have said "go ahead", and they would have charged more. I will definitely use this service for all tree trimming in the future.

They did a good job in cutting down and trimming the trees. The tree they cut down was hanging over a busy road and they where able to get it cut down even with the traffic. The owner was very punctual and kept me informed through the process. They are an insured company and that was a plus for me!

Owner replied to my initial inquiry within minutes. He was at my house in two hours to look at my trees and give me an estimate. We arranged for the work to be done on Saturday. The crew arrived right on time. We reviewed everything and they went to work. The entire crew worked hard and were very professional. They did an excellent job, including clean up. It was obvious they were experienced and worked together well.
