Description of Work: Removed 720 sq ft of water damaged wood floor, 114 sq. ft of tile and carpet in 4 rooms. This was replaced with 1575 sq. ft of engineered hardwood. This also included t-moldings, shoe moldings, furniture moving, etc. |I worked with Gayla Young from start to finish and she was quick to respond to every question or concern I had. We wanted separate estimates for each area - we didn't know how many of the other rooms we would be able to add at our own expense since this started as an insurance claim. I had a very detailed breakdown from insurance and I wanted similar from the flooring company to make sure everything (shoe molding, painting of it, etc.) was included. Gayla was the only one/company who would provide this. I had a hard time getting the other two companies (giving me estimates) to even give me separate estimates for each room. |Luckily for me their very nice showroom is close to me so I made several trips picking up more samples. They have so many to choose from. I was pleased that their bid was a bit lower than another and quite a bit lower than the third. One of the other companies lowered their bid to be more competitive but I still felt more comfortable working with Gayla and Builders Carpet. |The installation team was polite and easy to work with for the week it took to complete the work. The floors look great and I can't find section that should have been done differently. All of the new shoe molding and baseboards match existing and they even touched up some nicks that were on them before they started. |We found one small issue with the threshold to the garage and they were out here immediately to fix it. |If I had to pick one area for improvement it would be cleanup afterwards. They left a lot of sawdust by our front door and dust from their vacuum by the garage. Very minor points in the overall scope of the huge project. |

Description of Work: They installed carpet throughout my home. The price on the carpet was good. |The truck loaded with the carpet came from Tyler (45 miles away) and broke down. It was the drivers personal pickup. He had no help from the store,the carpet had to be unloaded along the side of the highway to get the blow out fixed. Due in the morning, carpet delivered late evening, installed over the next two days. Never knew when anyone was coming. The installer brought a friend (he did know how to install carpet) to help. They did a good job installing the carpet the next 10 days but left carpet and some of my furniture on the front porch, not too tidy inside the house. I did not use them to place covering on my sunporch.

Description of Work: Removed tile, linoleum and carpet and replaced it with hardwood floors. The job took only two days and they moved all the furniture back and cleaned everything.

Description of Work: We own several rent houses and Builder's Carpet provides the products and installation each time we redo the floors. They are honest, the prices are fair and the installers are professional and do an excellent job. We remodeled our house a couple of years ago and Builder's Carpet did the floors for that project as well. We really enjoy the people there and will continue to use them for all of our flooring needs.

Description of Work: They installed hardwood flooring, carpet and had some rugs made for me. The sales person was definitely a 10. John was awesome and did what was asked. The tile we ordered was poor quality, and they had to send it back and reorder it and that delayed the installation by 2 days.
