It looks ok, I do not think he used padding under the repairs. Leaves a gap. I had older carpeting so I wasn't expecting it to look new, I think it needed padding.

Marcus was extremely helpful and able to complete my order and installation with a very short lead time. He was highly responsive throughout the process. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Builder’s Carpet and Design Center and we are very pleased with all of the work they performed and the products they installed in our home. Jonathan Markum was outstanding in helping us to select the best flooring and carpeting options for all of our rooms. He was super professional and extremely knowledge. Jonathan was also very patient with us through the entire process, answering any and all of our questions and always returning our calls quickly. If you need new carpeting or flooring for your home, go see Jonathan. Jose also did a great job refinishing our wood flooring.

While this was a very small job compared to the large jobs done by Builder's Carpet, we were still treated very well. Cherrie helped us pick out carpet that would look good as a rug and that would last through the heavy use of having kids (ie, it was stain protected). She quickly submitted our order for processing and within a few weeks we were able to pick it up at the loading dock. The folks at the loading dock were equally easy to deal with. We very quickly loaded the rug, and cut some carpet padding and were on our way.

Ended up in small claims court, installers walked off the job, belittled and cursed at by employees and owner of this company.

The installation went very smoothly They came, they measured, they installed and they cleaned up when they were thru. I am very pleased with the carpet and working with Cherrie was very nice. She is knowledgeable and efficient.

I’ve used them for several years. It went well, but not as excellent as in the past. They’ve lost some of their people and they are not as well-staffed as before, and they’ve also had some changes in how they do business. Scheduling was very easy and the crew was outstanding. Their subcontractors are great, but the person I was working with made some mistakes.

They were wonderful. Scheduling was very easy and they came out within a week. The crew was very professional. They worked the entire day and worked very hard. I was amazed at the quality of the service. They are very trustworthy, hardworking, and have a great variety of flooring to choose from. They were very well priced and we got a great quality carpet. Even though I'm no longer in the area, I still recommend them.

It went very well and they were very helpful. I worked with Harriet and she was great to work with. She even gave me her cell phone number so I could call her anytime. The showroom is beautiful. They have a huge selection to choose from and they help you choose how much you need. I had to exchange some tile and they were wonderful to work with.

It went pretty well. Scheduling was very easy. The price was good and the process was hassle free. They did good work and the carpet looks good.

We scheduled the service, and they wanted to change the appointment, but we unable to do it then, so they started the work when they originally said they would. It took two trips for the job to finally be done. We didn't stay at our home that night and when we came back the next day, there were still strong fumes in the home. You could also see streaks where they applied the stain. It wasn’t smooth and level and was puddled in some places. We called them and they used a subcontractor to sand everything and to reapply it again. The second crew didn’t use as harsh of chemicals as the one before. However, the floor was still uneven in spots from the particulates embedded in the varnish and they also got some of the stain on the trim work so they had to come back out again for that. I wouldn’t use them again or recommend them due to the workmanship and the excuses.

It was fine. We had a major remodel and once it got to them, they were on time. It took them less than a week to complete the job. The floor looksbeautiful.

It was very easy to schedule. It took around four hours to complete the job. I like that they moved the furniture that they were very careful, and I also like the quality of the carpets for the price. I have pets and kids and the carpets still look new.

Excellent service from start to finish. I initially went to the showroom on Alma Rd. and really didn't know what I wanted. After talking with the sales staff I was ready to make a selection but was encouraged to take a large sample home to make sure of my decision. I was very impressed that I was trusted with their product sample with no promise of ordering the floor. The measurement and estimate went very smooth. The entire process took exactly the amount of time I was quoted (4days) with excellent results. After the initial job was completed I had a starter stair step installed to match the floors. The installer matched the stain perfectly. I am very pleased with Builders Carpet and Design Center. I will definitely do business with this company again. I was pleased to support a locally owned business.

We took multiple trips to the showroom and they were very patient while we picked out the materials. We did the work in two stages and they were done with everything in a few weeks. They were very careful and even moved the major furniture and we had no damage. The technicians were very respectful in home.

It was good and scheduling was easy. The only thing is that she recommended a particular carpet knowing that I have a dog. My dog’s nails pull up the loops of carpet so I don’t think that was a good recommendation. I also noticed that they didn't completely match up the carpet to the built-in shelving unit, so you can see where the carpet ends. It took them around a day; they did a good job with installation and cleaned up well after themselves.

We called them to accept the quote and they came out within a week. They did a fine job, moved the big furniture and removed the old carpet. The technicians were also respectful in our home.

It was great; we had great service all around. The crew was great and it took them one day to install the carpeting. The carpet looks fabulous and we were extremely pleased.

Gayla was very flexible in having the installers come since it was brand new house and we had to wait on the closing dates. The technicians were very nice, professional, and kept everything clean and organized. They went above and beyond and helped to move the carpet to the patio and garage. The floors look really nice and I have recommended them already. The last day of installation, a Sunday, they rushed and didn't remove the carpet completely.

The sales person was friendly, but it seemed like we were not top priority for service. There were several miscommunications, and we felt like we didnt get our moneys worth from the sales person. But the workmanship and quality of the hardwood floors was pretty good.

It was very good and they did a great job. I've been using them close to five years. The prices are extremely fair, they show up on time, do what they say they will do, and they are respectful on the property.

Our job was scheduled to take 4 days, but ended up taking a month to complete. The tile removal guys were punctual and removed the tile; however, they damaged our baseboards in the process. Builder's Carpet has fine print on the back of the contract claiming that they are not responsible for any damage done in the home. Someone also cut a huge gash in our banister, which they refused to fix. When tearing out our tile, in preparation for putting in the laminate, they also ruined the threshholds to all of our doors beyond repair. The contractor did agree to send someone to replace them at their cost; however, it took months of calls, letters to get this taken care of. The tiles guys were a "no-show" as we waited day after day. They finally showed up 3 hours late on the 5th day. They proceeded to install the bathroom tile with a hump in the middle of the floor. When I complained, they said that I said that it would be alright since I was planning on selling the home. They had to tear it out to re-do. This time the tile was angled to the right. Both very obvious to the naked eye. This project was a NIGHTMARE! They left trash in our front yard under our tree for days. When I wrote a letter to the manager, Jason Goodwyn, he responded with a rude letter in return. He apologized for "inconveniencing me". When my husband called him to discuss the issues, he said that he would not talk with us anymore about the issues. I filed a letter with the BBB and Mr. Goodwyn responded by saying that I was trying to extort money from his company, because we asked for a discount due to the many issues and we asked that they replace the thresholds as they had told us that they would. We dealt with this issue on a weekly basis from 3/10/14 - 5/5/14, when finally a phone callto Builder's Carpet was answered by a female office manager agreed to assist us with our problems. They sent the man who put the laminate down to repair the baseboards and we received a check for the cost of the thresholds. We did not receive a discount for all of the problems we encountered. I would NEVER use this company, nor recommend them to anyone.
