Description of Work: A guy knocked on the door offering to check our roof. He said it had hail damage and would be glad to do it. Thanked him and then called Ameritex. He came right out, said the roof was fine but needed some repair and caulking. Did the work a couple of days later.

Description of Work: I called a number of roofing companies and most of them wouldn't come out until the roof had a chance to dry out. Robert with Ameritex came out the day I called and checked everything out while it was raining and gave me a quote. The next day, they came back, did the repairs and charged us $300 less than quoted! This is a great example of under promising and over delivering!! Highly recommend.

Description of Work: I needed a roof inspection following the recent hail storms. They were able to come out the next day. Robert arrived on time and walked me through his observations and gave a straightforward opinion and explanation. No repairs were needed at this time but if we have roofing needs in future we will call Ameritex without hesitation.

Description of Work: They did a really great job! On time and on budget! There were no surprises and that rarely happens. I would definitely recommend them to everyone! They replaced the entire roof and installed a radiant barrier. I'm definitely saving money on electricity!

Bill Harrell provided onsite follow-up to make sure we were satisfied with the work and to answer any remaining questions. Hope not to have to replace or repair the roof any time soon but would not hesitate to call AmeriTex if the need arises. Bill also provided great references for additional painting and drywall repair. A+

 + 0 moreThis job was very difficult for the roofing company and it was extremely stressful for the home owner. The home was built in 1930 and the original roof (wood shingles) was discovered by the roofers. AmeriTex altered their price 3 times during the process. We never agreed upon the final price although I had signed a contract with an estimate prior to the work. AmeriTex did not start on the day the contract agreed upon. It rained in my home and AmeriTex did not take responsibility for any damages. AmeriTex hired day workers throughout the entire process. The roof was very attractive and looked very good upon completion.
Description of Work: Removed 6 layers of shingles on a 1000 sq. ft. home. Installed 7/16 OSB cool plywood with radiant barrier. Install 15 felt. Installed metal edging. Installed TGI in valley. Applied 16 Tamko 30 Harvest gold shingles. Installed pipe covers. Installed ridge vent. Installed standard ridge. Cleaned up and removed debris. Pulled city permit for roof. Tore off 1 layer of 90lb roll roofing on flat area of house. Checked deck and replaced. Added base sheet. Torched down 5 modified bitumen. Added gravel guard. Replaced 46' fascia board over back door (unpainted). Replaced 110' of 1 X 8 over flat area.
