I called and got an appt right away. The scheduling process was fast and professional.Jerry arrived as promised. He is very polite, friendly and professional. He wears little socks on his shoes so dirt doesn't track into the house. Jerry reviewed my list of things to fix and saved me some $$ when he recommeded that a couple of the valves I had listed didn't need to be repaired--very honest. He completed the work as promised and cleaned up after.I called for a follow-up because one of the tubes had a small leak and he came out and replaced it the next AT NO CHARGE because he had missed it! I definitely recommend Jerry to anyone requiring plumbing work and will use him again in the future.

I called and made the appointment. The lady answering the phone was really great. She was very nice, caring, and professional. She called before they arrived to give me a heads up. The owner and his son got here on time and were nice and professional. They put on their shoe covers before coming in the house. I didn't think the older man was the owner because he acted clueless about the job asking "oh is this an outside job?" and later asking of the details of the Angie's list deal. I told them I just needed the front and back spigot changed (5 minute job) and said that my garbage disposal makes noise every once in a while, but it isn't a problem now. He said he would go ahead and just check out the disposal and ended up telling me my garbage disposal needed to be replaced because it was over 15 years old. I just had it installed new 5 years ago. Then he said everything under my sink was hooked up wrong - the dishwasher, my kinetico purifier, etc and if I ever had a back up, everything would go into my purifier. I told him I'm not going to worry about all that and just wanted to do the spigots. Then he gave me the quote of $146 per spigot for the labor and $46 for each spigot parts. I knew the parts weren't covered by the Angie's list deal but I figured they would be cheap. I can get an $8 spigot at a hardware store. I said " just replace the front because that's too expensive." I was still upset that changing a spigot out was going to cost me $46 plus $150 Angie's deal. Then the son came up to the door and said they would do both the front and back for $46 parts. I said ok. The job was done 10 minutes later and the son came in charging me $92 - double the quote. I bought the "deal" thinking I would do something to make my life easier, but now I regret not changing the spigots myself. What a ripoff!! I regret not asking the son to put what he said in writing before saying to go ahead and do it. The worst part of the whole experience was being told I would get one price and being charged double. I called the company after the two guys left. I was really mad and said I was going to write this review. The lady was really nice and listened, and said usually they get great reviews. The guy called me shortly after and offered me my money back for me not to write this review. I thought it was worth it for him to keep the money and for me to write this just in case they do this to anyone else. If you deal with this company, get the estimate in writing before the do the work.

I originally called the plumber for an appointment. The first call, I left a message. The second call, the man told me to call him later in the day because he was driving; that didn't work out with my schedule. The next time I called, I left a message. The fourth time, the wife called me to set up an appointment. I tried to get some kind of estimate or price, but she was not forthcoming with that information. I was sure I could ask him to do 2 or 3 things for that price....$150.00 worth of work. She would not confirm any pricing. Then, she called me another time to reschedule the appointment. That was ok with me. He came while I was at work. My husband let him do the work without any supervision, and then he was told we still owed him another $90. When I found out after work that day, I was horribly disappointed about the price. I felt overcharged! It was not a difficult job for him. Nothing was complicated. He didn't have to do anything special to the counter or the cabinets...only to unhook the existing dishwasher and rehook the other. $259.00????? I don't think so. And then I noticed that HE BROKE MY COUNTERTOP! It is a relatively small breakage, about one inch wide and maybe 3/4 inch high . Looks like a bite out of my counter. I called my husband to inquire about the whole thing, and he said he didn't notice it until after the plumber left. The man did not show that he had any integrity. He should have "owned up" to what had happened and offered a compensation of some sort. I'm sure he has insurance for incidents like that. He did nothing of the sort, and I am not in the mood to argue with him about that---neither am I prepared to hire a lawyer to take him to court on this. I am just sorry I bought this coupon. I thought that I would be safe with this plumber from Angie's list. I have learned my lesson, I will never buy any other coupon deals from Angie's list because of this bad experience. I would not recommend this plumber.

The two men showed up on time. They checked the pressure for the entire house before starting in the kitchen. When that came back normal, they checked the pressure for the kitchen faucet and dishwasher. The faucet was full of deposits. They replaced the cartridge in the handle and the piping for the hot and cold supplies. The process was quick and the men were very neat.

Update : we called a different company, who discovered the problem to be a tree root on the city side. If these guys would have snaked the clogged line, it would have flooded my house with sewage. SAWS cleared their pipe, paid the other company, and all is well.

Great. These folks are professional in every respect. We have used this company before and will again. After living here 18 years, we have finally found a plumbing company we want to use as our regular plumber.

The workman arrived on time; assessed the areas requiring the work and provided explanation of what was to be done. I really appreciated that. At the completion of the work, all areas were cleaned. I was very impressed with their work performance and professionalism.

The owner and his son responded and were curteous and professional. They explained what was involved to locate the leak and we agreed. They cut out a section of dry wall and located the leak to be from one of the pipe joints connected to the divertor. They asked how old the divertor was and were told 19 years. We were told divertors don't normally last this long. They stated they could just resolder the leaking joint but, due to age they couldn't guarantee another leak wouldn't happen to one of the other connections. Or, they could install a new divertor. In either case they would provide a one year guarantee on their work. We chose the new divertor, price included new fixtures.

They showed up on time, did great work, were very thorough, and absolutely professional. He and his son made a great team. They are not the cheapest, however, when you really want professionals that act professional, and make you feel comfortable and informed of what is taking place, then this is the firm to use. My home warranty had sent a company out that were sloppy, unprofessional, and not willing to provide information on my situation, Jerry did all that and more.

I purchased 2 hours of plumbing service from Angie's Big Deal several months ago for $99. Called React Fast and true to their name, they came the same day at the the time promised. Job required removing existing water softener flex pipe, moving softener out of the way, sweating copper extender pipe and re- hooking up the water softener. Job took about and hour. Additional cost was for the copper pipe and fittings, $25. Service technician was polite and very professional. Found out that he was the owner of the company. Based on my experience I would use this company again for other jobs.

He came out and looked at the UV sanitizers that I had purchased, determined what was needed to install them, gave me a quote and returned the next day and made the installations. The work was very professional, and he was very good at cleaning up after himself.

I thought I was screwed on a Saturday night! I got on Angie's List, this company was at the top of the list so I called. There was NO extra charge for it being a Sunday. I was promised that a plumber would be here at noon on Sunday with a discount for being an Angie's List member. Got a phone call at 11:30 that the plumber was on the way. He arrived at 12:00, listened to the problem, then went to work. He was done in less than 30 minutes, no mess, and charged less than the company I usually use on a normal job. We will be changing our preferred plumbing company to this one. Very impressed!

They initially came out, replaced the shower on off valve but it was still dripping. They checked the rest of the house including the water heater and the water pressure valve \ regulator. - Turns out the water heater had not been installed up to code, it did not have an expansion tank and it was not connected to a vent in the roof. Since this was a gas water heater this was a problem although it was not specifically related to the shower head leaking. - They also looked at the water pressure valve in the front yard and determined the pressure was too high and that the valve was basically disintegrating. This was probably causing the leak and It needed to be replaced. - They installed the water heater expansion tank. moved it and connected to the vent. They also replaced the water pressure valve. Neither of these corrected the leak from the shower head. The plumber returned to the distributor that provided the shower on off valve to get clarification on installation and was then able to adjust it and stop the leak. Overall the experience was pretty good. They were prompt, courteous and explained everything they were doing. I felt the price was fair given all of the work they performed. Looking back at it I think the leak could have probably been fixed by simply replacing the valve properly but the other work still needed to be done sooner or later. In addition while I'm certainly no plumber I work in technology and when you are troubleshooting there are always a number of things that could be causing a problem. As you search for the source you often come across things that are wrong, things that could be causing the problem. You fix these obvious problems - like my water pressure regulator, believing you have found the source. Sometimes its not the source or perhaps it just isn't the only problem and you have to keep looking.They showed me the regulator or at least the crumbling remains of it as well as my neighbors shiny working one so I have no doubt it needed to be replaced. The previous homeowner was a contractor and no doubt installed the water heater which was like new, without worrying about building codes or actually doing it right. The funniest thing was the city inspection that had to be done. This consisted of the inspector meeting me at the door and asking, "Did they install an expansion tank?" I said yes and the inspection was over! I will use these guys again if I have a plumbing issue.

This occurred yesterday - a neighbor stated I would need a plumber since it wasn't the Saws valve next to the meter. He said he had a brother who was a plumber but unfortunately he never showed up. I checked today on Angie's List and fortunately found Jerry with React-Fast. They don't charge for emergencies/after hour work! I called, got a quote for the work and within 15 minutes Jerry was at my door!! He was so nice and professional explaining everything he was going to do. So if I have any future work to be done I will DEFINITELY be calling him again! And I plan on recommending him to my friends and neighbors!!

Flawlessly! Superb! I definitely received great value for The Big Deal with React Fast plumbing! I purchased The Big Deal, which was $99 for 2 hours of plumbing services. The primary reason for my purchase was that I have a water spot on the ceiling of one room and was concerned I had a water/pipe leak. Jerry was prompt, dressed in a very neat uniform, and was putting on the little shoe covers even before I opened the front door. He was very courteous, and found that there was a loose drain pipe in my shower, and fixed it on the spot. He took the time to explain everything. I then had him check my kitchen sink garbage disposal, which as it turned out had a horrible clog and he fixed that promptly as well. Excellent experience Overall A+

We have recently purchased an older home in San Antonio and wanted to get some plumbing items fixed before it became an emergency. This is the second time we have used React-Fast Plumbing. The first time was for an emergency. The valve that turns off the water to the toilet would not shut off. React Fast Plumbing was there quick and fixed the problem in 20 minutes. They did such a good job we decided to call them back for other repairs that were needed. This time we used the coupon offered on Angie's List for $99 for two hours labor. We knew the things that needed repair would require more than two hours. When Mr. Guzman arrived (exactly when he said he would), he went over exactly how much every thing would cost including the discount for the coupon. He put in a new kitchen sink, fixtures and disposal, new parts in the tanks of two toilets, put a toilet in for us and replaced leaky faucets outside. There were some things I thought needed fixing, but he checked them out, and said they were OK. He could have replaced them and I wouldn't have known the difference, but he didn't. Moving to a new city and not knowing anyone here to call on for plumbing problems was a little scary. The Guzmans (family run business) did a great job. Mrs. Guzman was especially comforting when we had the emergency leak the first time. She assured me Mr. Guzman would be here and he came promptly. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

We were very happy with the customer service and the work performed. Jerry is very knowledgeble and honest. After taking off the Big Deal coupon, we only paid $187.00 bringing the total with coupon cost spent at $286. My neighbor had the same work done by another well-known company and spent almost triple that amount! If we have any plumbing issues in the future, I will only call React-Fast!

This morning while mowing my front yard I discovered a large puddle of water and the surrounding ground soaking wet. I got my shove and dugged in the middle of the muddle and discovered a leaking water pipe. I immediately went to angie's list and selected React-Fast Plumbing and Rooter after reading their reviews. And I am glad that I did. After expaining my situation to Mary(co-owner and wife) she expained that she would have to called Jerry (co-owner) to see if he would be able to come out around 3 pm. In less than 5 minutes she returned my call stating that he would be here around 3. Well before 3 my doorbell rang and there stood Jerry and his assistant. They assessed the problem, quoted me a price and went to work. Jerry found an additional problem that I had, quoted a price but no pressure to get it done. They were very polite, clean and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely be using this company again.

I found a really bad leak under my kitchen sink, which had wiped out my cabinet completely. I called in the early afternoon and they still made it out the same day! They found it was my faucet and we went out to purchase a new one while they took out the old one and then they installed the new one for us. I also had a crack in my standing master shower, which they quickly patch, and they examined an old leak under one of the sinks in that same bathroom. They cleaned the deposits causing the off and on leak. Everything went smoothly and they made a terrible day into a more bareable one.

Water pressure was very low; React Fast diagnosed problem as a failure in the water softener. This enabled us to get the water softener contractor out to fix the problem. Also resolved the leak. Jerry was very knowledgeable and professional.
