Description of Work: I purchased a HUD home, and after the inspection noted some problems with the water heater and bathroom plumbing, I knew I needed a qualified plumber to sort things out. There were 3 things wrong with the water heater--all fixed quickly and I think for reasonable prices. The issues in the two bathrooms--both having to do with bathtub faucets and drain operations, were also fixed quickly and with quality products. So glad they had everything on their truck. Even though I called in the early afternoon, they came out, arriving after 5:00. They were willing to stay late to get everything done and I was so glad!!!! Jerry Sr and Jerry Jr--kudos to you!!!

Since thewater heater was probably the original 20 year old model, there were some parts that needed replacing. I was asked if I wanted torepair or replace and I opted for the former. When the three new pieces were installed, the repairman showed me the worn-out partswhich were corroded and badly etched and took them with him.They were punctual, professional and pleasant.I asked for and received a 10% Senior decount. It was an efficient and reasonable transaction.

They fixed it properly and I was also adivised as to why there was a leak. They were very professional and considerate as to leave area clean once work was completed.

Description of Work: Water heater was flushed and inspected. The plumber found several problems which did not come as a surprise because the heater is ten years old and had not had anything done. He installed a anode rod, new TEV valve and new easy flash water escape valve.

 + 0 moreI had an emergency on a Saturday, I called and left a message, which was returned within 15 minutes. Mary listened to my problem, offered some suggestions, and we made arrangements for them to come out. Jerry arrived within an hour. He checked both bathrooms and listened to my current and previous problems with draining in the bathtubs and toilets. It took some time to trace plumbing lines that were done incorrectly when the house was built, but Jerry found them, and got everything running again. He placed dropcloths on the floor where he had to come in and out of the house, and took booties on and off every time he went in and out. During all of this, he explained to me what he was finding, and what needed to be done. He was very professional and courteous. He even rinsed out the bathtubs when he was done. I will absolutely call React-Fast again.
Description of Work: located hidden cleanout, had to remove toilet to snake cleanout, snaked all drains in both bathrooms, replaced the toilet. Found problem with rear bathtub not draining, removed defective drain plug and replaced cover.

 + -1 moreOffice manager was extremely pleasant and helpful, a real asset to the business. After hearing my explanation of problem, immediately contacted plumber by phone to ascertain availability. Since it was mid afternoon on Friday, I expected a delay or no appointment. Within minutes returned call to schedule appointment within the hour. Less than one hour later, plumber showed up equipped and ready to work. Tested system and identified leak within ten minutes of arrival. Gave estimate, which I thought to be very reasonable, and predicted approximately two hours of work to make repairs. Carefully removed and saved shrubbery and soil, expertly trenched area to isolate damaged pipe, replaced damaged pipe in minutes, replaced shrubbery and soil, and cleaned area all in less than two hours. A completely outstanding job from start to finish. I'm 72 years old and have had plumbing work done numerous times at various locations around the country. This was by far the best ever. Expert plumber, great personalities for meeting the public and getting the work done on the part of the plumber and office staff. Fair price and prompt response made it a great all around experience.
Description of Work: Tested household water system for leaks. Identified leak in front yard underground near main water meter on property owner's side. Removed shrubbery and dug trench to access leak. Cut and removed ruptured pipe. Replaced damaged pipe. Added shut off valve. Replaced soil and shrubbery. Cleaned up after work.

 + -1 moreOn a Sunday, a truck ran over the spot in the lawn where the sprinkler pipe was connected to the water main which broke the pipe connection. I called React-Fast, and Jerry was there less than an hour later, and not only repaired the damage, but improved the way the connection was set up to prevent this kind of damage in the future. Jerry was professional, courteous, left the site in the best possible condition, and charged a fair amount for the work performed. We found the plumber we'll be calling for any future plumbing needs.

 + 1 moreI will always call Jerry and Mary for our Plumbing needs. Jerry and his son exchanged another 40 Gal. Water heater located in our up-stairs Attic. He did the one over the Garage last year and it was time for this one. My A/C provider suggested that I have a Plummer blow out the lines of the overflow for both A/Cs and Jerry did this with a High Pressure Tank. Lot's of Junk can clog these system up which I did not even know and can cause serious problems. As usual, Jerry and his son completed this job in an excellent manner and as always puts down protective covering on our floors when removing old equipment. Description of Work: My first contact with React-Fast Plumbing & Rooter was with Mrs. Mary Guzman. She was so polite and helpful with my situation and understanding what I wanted to have accomplished. She took my list for an estimate and it was no time before I received a call from Jerry. I explained to him that I wanted two tolets replaced, a water Heater , and I also had some leaky bathroom faucets plus I thought I had to much water pressure coming into the pipe lines. I also ask him if he could help me put down some plywood for storage in the Attic. He never hesitated once. He came out and looked at all I wanted done and gave me an estimate that I was very happy with. He took a pressure check on my water pressure line and said that yes, I did have a problem with to much pressure and suggested that I put on a water pressure regulator right at the Main coming into the property. I agreed. Well Jerry did not know that my water Heater I wanted was located in the Attic over the garage, but he assured me there would be no problem putting it in. I just want everyone to know that this man knows his pluming and is an expert in his field. I also had him install a water Hamer Arrestor to the water heater. Jerry not only adjusted all my bathroom faucets ( we have four full baths), he also went to Lowes and picked up plywood sheets to put down in our Attic and not just nailed, he went a step further and put screws in the plywood to hold it better. To top it off, just before he was leaving, he put a light fixture two bulb up over our utility room where the washer and dryer is located. I have been a member of Angies List for many years and have had many different types of workers work on our home. This gentleman and lady have done above and beyond what is required. I find it very difficult as I look at a couple of F ratings given to this Company by some people. I guess if I had a 40 year old home and had never done preventive maintenance and it fell apart I would want to blame someone else too. I am so very pleased to Highly Recommend this Company to everyone and I give React-Fast Pluming to use me as a personal reference and they can even give my number out to contact me. I would just like to add that I had a lot of boxes unpacked and when ReactFast left they cleaned all areas and the only difference I observed was that all my new item's looked and worked super. Thanks Jerry for saving us from to much water pressure and bursting pipes. I wish people would realize how much anything you purchase now days cost more. I know for sure I got a better deal than going to a large store with all the overhead they have on pricing...... I will be using React-Fast again very soon.  + -1 moreWere unable to replace toilet. Tank top of new toilet too high for closet. When the workers placed the new toilet, it wasn't secured properly. New toilet was shattered in pieces. Styrofoam just thrown into box. Linoleum in the the bathroom. Ripped part of it and had come up. Looked like linoleum torn up when old toilet removed. Never use this company again.
