This is the way a job should go. Todd and his crew did everything right. Specifically: 1) When I called to set an appointment for an estimate on the work, a person (Todd Munsinger) answered. He gave me an actual time - 4PM on that Friday, rather than telling me he'd come out sometime on Thursday afternoon. 2) When he saw that he was going to be held up in traffic and would be a little late for the appointment, he called to let me know. 3) He came in a truck with the company logo on the side - small thing, but it added to the professionalism, in my opinion. 4) He came with clipboard in hand and all the right tools to look the job over thoroughly, get accurate measurments - then he sat in his truck, crunched the numbers and gave me an estimate on the spot. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. He presented me with a very professional contract, with all terms clearly spelled out. 5) He told me he had some jobs lined up and that it might be 10 days or so before he could get to our roof; his office called on the 10th day and they came out to do the job on the 11th. 6) His crew was knowledgable and efficient. Went right to work and stayed at it till it was completed. Todd checked in on them several times along the way to make sure things were being done right. The crew left things in good shape, cleaning up after themselves. And the roof is beautiful. 7) I called 3 other companies the day I first called Driftwood. One never called back at all. Two others came out before Todd did - and I am still waiting for them to get back to me with estimates. Mine was a small job; I guess they weren't interested.

Driftwood Builders representative was on time and very educational on what needed to be done with my roof. He explained the insurance process and what was covered and not. We ended up doing many upgrades to our home that we now see as real pluses. The new felt and inspection of the decking which did reveal some rotten decking. I am so glad we found that it, could have been 20 years before in got inspected again. They put new plumbing jacks on and drip edge that will protect our fascia. The crew was on time, clean, and finished in a day. They handled all of my paperwork with the insurance company. These guys are real pros and run one of the best contracting companies I have dealt with.

The service was excellent. They were very proactive in getting the job done. He was very knowledgeable about the situation.

They were great, they met with the insurance adjuster and handled everything for me. He had a lot of experience in my neighborhood.

I found a leak in the shop right after I bought my house. I went through three roofers who came out to look at it, promised a quote, and then flaked out on me. I finally found Driftwood Builders Roofing. They actually followed through. His crew addressed the leak and several other issues with the roof on that building quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. A month later I found a leak in the main house. I called Driftwood on Friday. Todd evidently keeps track of the weather forecast because he told me it was going to rain on Tuesday and it had to be fixed before then. He expedited ordering materials and got a crew out on a day's notice to fix it on Monday. Tuesday it poured down rain. If he hadn't been so proactive, I probably would have had sheetrock damage to deal with in addition to the roof. So, if you're looking for a roofer, I can't recommend Driftwood Builders Roofing highly enough. Proactive, looks out for the customer, and iscommitted to the highest quality work.

I planned on doing this review for some time, but I wanted to make sure that it rained first. We did not find any leaks. Our next door neighbor hired them on a job previously and liked them. Their price was better than another roofer that gave me an estimate. They tore of all the old shingles, replaced a couple of boards, and put up a new roof all in one day.

It went really well. I had no issues. They were really friendly, really well organized and they worked quickly.

They are awesome. They were very polite workers. They were meticulous. Everything was up to snuff. The owner is a real nice person and a family guy. One thing I noticed was how respectful and what great care he took of the elderly in my neighborhood. There was one thing I did question about my roof about a year later, and he still sent someone back out to look at it. It was a delay in me contacting him to have him look at it, not his delay. He really stands by his work.

The whole roof was replaced by another contractor 4 years ago, and they installed a type of in-roof ventilation from which shingles started coming loose about a year ago. We tried to get them out to repair under their guarantee, but after coming out once to inspect and say they'd be right back to repair it, they never showed up and eventually went out of business (neither Angie's List of BBB could get a response from them). We had to have the roof fixed and decided on Driftwood after Todd Munsinger (owner) thoroughly explained what all was needed and why. His inspection was very thorough, thoughtful, well researched (including conferring with others about the previous in-roof vents which were unusual) and reasonable. A bit more work than we had hoped was required, but he reasoning behind why seemed sound. His bid was not the lowest of 2 we got, but he seemed by far the most dependable and professional. He helped with an insurance claim and the work was scheduled. He and crew were punctual, unobtrusive and quick. When one crew ran late on the second day we were notified well in advance and all went smoothly. Clean up was great. Highly recommended!

Todd Munsinger of Driftwood Builders and his crew were awesome in replacing my roof. I'm a single lady and didn't want to be taken advantage of. I found Todd very honest and upfront with me in all the details. He was very professional in explaining the process,the pricing, and helping me with the insurance forms. He showed me what exactly they would be replacing and the timeframe to have all the work completed. His crew was great in starting at a reasonable time in the mornings and I was so impressed with the cleanup. Nothing was left behind that I had to worry about. I have a beautiful new roof that looks great!! I would highly recommend Todd and his crew at Driftwood Builders to all my family and friends and even those who read this. I'm even having them come back to do my front and back porches. Can't wait!!!!!

My husband and I had just bought our house and realized that making sure the roof is in good shape should come first. We had other roofing companies knock on our door after a storm but were very "salesman" and all about making "deals" at the best price. Todd Munsinger, the owner of Driftwood Builders was very honest and upfront about the process and the cost as well as working with the insurance company to make sure they had included what should be in the claim. He knew he would not likely be the cheapest roofer we had talked to but reassured us that no steps were skipped during the tear off ( apparently a lot of other roofers don't take off the old felt paper to inspect the decking for any damage) and they use quality products. Throughout the process Todd was there and able to answer any of my questions whether it was about the work being done, the materials, or the extremely confusing insurance paperwork! In the end it was an excellent experience and we are actually going to contact Driftwood Builders again to work on the rest of our exterior.
