We had a small scheduling problem due to weather, and personal reasons on both sides, everything went very well.

They came out two days later and treated all of the trees (without charging extra) to make sure I didn't have any future problems. They were professional, expert, and didn't waste any time solving my problem. I would use them again for sure.

It took him about 1 month to make it to my house fro the original set date. When he finally made to my house he was even there to do work he was there only to make a bid. The bid was and absurd amount so I asked him to just go ahead and leave. I then went and got the guys working on my neighbors yard to do the same thing for hundreds of dollars less and they did it right there on the spot. This guy knows nothing about being a proffesional.

I purchased a special package for $200 worth of tree trimming services for $99. Kenneth had to reschedule the initial appointment because of a family emergency, but that was completely fine with me. Not surprisingly, upon arrival, Kenneth assessed the work that I wanted and said that it was going to be much more. He quoted me an additional $1,100 for the work (and this was at a discounted price for Angie's lists customers). I was a bit suprised, but these trees are 20-30 feet high and there is obviously a skill here that I needed to consider. Some of these trees were Palms and he said that he would do the work in such a way that it would require less maintenance going forward. So I decided to go forward with this. The work went okay. Kenneth did tell me that his guys accidentally dropped a branch on one of my air conditioning units, which broke the cover over the condenser (I would not have known if he did not tell me as the unit is on the side of the house all the way by the fence, so I applaud his honesty). He asked if he could have one of his friends fix it, which was fine with me. After a month, he said that he could not get his friend to fix it. Since my brother is in the AC business, I told Kenneth I could get the part and he agreed to reimburse me for it. I purchased the part for $190 and sent Kenneth a copy of the receipt. For reasons I really cannot explain, it took almost 10 months and about 12 follow up emails from me to get the payment from Kenneth. But I did eventually get it.

I was impressed that I got a call within 2 hours of purchasing the 99 dollar coupon for 200 dollars worth of work ( over 800 dollars). He was very polite on the phone. When he came out he went through exactly what he could do to make my yard look better, and we agreed on a price. He was able to accommodate my schedule and took care of the job within the same week of the first phone call. He texted me throughout the day and showed me the progress. So even though I was not at home to watch him and his team of 4 men working, I felt very comfortable that they were doing the job nicely. He did everything well and cleaned up everything at the end. I was very please to see the excellent work when I came home that evening. I will call him again for other jobs, and I would recommend him very highly.

Scheduling was a comedy of problems. Mr Langley experienced numerous personal and crew problems from sickness to car accident. Rain also delayed him as well. In all, I think we rescheduled 3 or 4 times. All this was made more difficult by the 50 mile driving distance from the company's location to our home. Well, all is well that ends well. The work was completed as we specified and agreed to and the price was fair. Mr Langley and his crew know their business and do a professional job. We are pleased to recommend this quality company.

They provided the services requested and gave suggestions for other tree removal. We would definitely use them and would recommend their services to others.

The job was done but company was disorganized when it came to scheduling. Despite having an appointment, other customers came first. Company took did not deposit the check that I wrote for payment for several weeks after the job was finished.

This was our second time using Kenneth and his crew, and we will not hesitate to call them again for future trimming. Kenneth has a great eye for shaping a tree and for noticing diseased limbs that need removal. He and his crew worked very hard without taking breaks, were very careful not to damage the bedding plants, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished. This was an especially difficult job, as they had to work around a messy roofing crew, but they never complained (at least to me). They try very hard to please their customers.

Kenneth Langley and his crew did a wonderful job completely clearing my massively overgrown yard. It was a huge job but they worked tirelessly to get it all done in one day. I was so impressed that I had Kenneth come back to complete landscaping in front yard, including laying mulch and a stone border around my front flower beds. Next, he pressure washed my house, back patio and driveway. I was impressed with the attention to detail demonstrated by Langley Lawn & Tree Service in every task they completed. The work was very well done, completed timely and Kenneth was always responsive to my questions. I am continuing to use Langley Lawn & Tree service for regular lawn maintenance.

This is what you are looking for. Kenneth and his crew did exactly what they said they were going to do, and for a good price. He made very sure he didn't make any major cuts on my trees without insuring he was achieving exactly what I was hoping for, in terms of aesthetics, and the results were all I could ask. Kenneth knows what he is doing and clearly cares about doing it right and well. Highest recommendation.

Purchased a coupon for $200.00 of tree trimming for $100.00 and the Quote came in for $2,200.00. Had someone else provide a quote and will do the same work for $1,100.00 and I do not have to wait 3 to 4 weeks. Too Expensive!

It went really well. Not sure of all that went on because I was not present at the time of the job. But all was good.

Overall the work went very well once Kenneth and his crew arrived to take care of my tree needs. The original appointment date was Wednesday 02 Oct 13 which began with me getting a call that he had problems with his trailer and if we could reschedule for 03 Oct 13. My wife had gotten another call on 03 Oct 13 from Ken that he was tied up at another good and would be able to make again. Once again Ken committed to 04OCT13 and told my wife he would be there first thing in the morning between 0730-0800. Well you guessed it 0730 rolled by, 0800, 0900, 1000, finally at almost 1100am Kenneth shows up with his crew. Again, once Kenneth and his team finally arrived and started work they did well. They also did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves and I was very pleased with the work. I may also add that Kenneth Langley is a very polite and respectfully business man. If I would use him again, I'm not sure? But I will shop around before getting future tree services to see what other companies have to offer in prices and services.

See above. Did not have the work done because his estimate was way too high. I basically blew $99. They did no work for me. Update 10/8/13 Ken Langley the owner did call me about this & made arrangements for Angie's List to reimburse the $99. I appreciate the effort & regard for customer service. I guess each person has to decide if the profressionalism & customer service is worth the extra money. I am sure they do good work. Unfortunately, based on the his estimate versus the other estimate I received, I was unable to find out - did not use his services. Regardless, I appreciate his efforts to get me a refund & have adjusted my review.

I had a tree stump in my back patio. I probably contacted 6 tree removal companies before Langley. They were the only ones able to get to the stump because they have one of the most compact stump removal machines there is, so if your tree is in a tight space, these are your guys. They did a great job and removed my tree stump as well as lowered the dirt line by a few inches as requested. The only minor issue was that they had to reschedule me 4 times before they finally came out to do the work, but when you think about how they work outside and if it rains they can't work, and then all of their appointments have to be moved, it's understandable. And since they were the only ones with the right equipment, I can't complain. I would definitely use them again.

Ken did a great job and the other reviewers were spot on. Ken is flexible and will do what it takes to get the job done. He went the extra mile to make it go smooth.

Kenneth Langley and his crew did a wonderful job on our trees. His team did a great job and were in and out very quick. The did a great job with cleanup and the lawn looked better when they left than before they got there.

Saturday, the 27th, Mr. Langley was suppose to show up to do the work. He called that morning and had a reasonable excuse so He said he would not be able to show up until 11 am. Then he calls me at 11 am and says something else had come up and he would not be able to come until 2 pm. At this point we asked him not to come and do the work. If he knew that his kids would be picking out show animals on that day then he never should have scheduled work on that day. My husband got mad because then he would not stop calling us and texting us. We will NEVER use his services!

We had a huge palm tree that needed a trim. Ken came with his helper and they trimmed our tree and cleaned up. I highly recommend Ken and crew. Fast, Efficient, and knowledgable!

Went very well. Had several delays due to rain though. It has hardly rained all summer except when I wanted to get these trees taken care of, then it rained daily. Go figure. But once we had a weather window, they got here when they said they would and immediately got started. They got it all done in one day, plus some work for two of my neighbors. They didn't just cut limbs and let them fall, as was the case with a previous tree service company, but cut them and, lowered them slowly to the ground. They cleaned up completely; they picked up pretty much every stick, and then raked, and then used a heavy-duty blower to blow down the patio, driveway, and front walk. I won't hesitate to call Mr. Langley again when I need more tree work.
