Kenneth and his crew of 5 arrived in the morning on time at 8:30 AM. I didn't know exactly what needed to be done, but just knew we were tired of feeling claustrophobic while being eaten alive by mosquitoes whenever we were outside. KL walked me around the property and he showed me exactly what he would trim for each tree. Once we agreed on the price, he and his crew began immediately on the smaller trees. The work was very high quality. KL brought me out to look over the work as it was completed. By mid-day, their large dumpster trailer was full. They hauled it away during their lunch break. When they returned, they started in on the stump grinding and the large trees. They cleaned up all the debris and were done by 5 PM. Since completion, we've had better air circulation in our yards, we are able to see more of the sky, there's more light on the ground, our mosquito SWARMS have disappeared and we can now ENJOY our large yards for the first time since we moved in 5 years ago.

I urge consideration of matching the size and complexity of the job with the capabilities of the firm. Mr. Langley had to delay and then cancel the work because one of his trusted assistants had an injury and stretched his 3-4 man team thin. I figured that any tree service could take the easy trees down. I found that few could adapt to the physical constraints of my job and the challenge. If you have a complex job seek out a larger firm that works well together. We got the work done 3 weeks later than we thought.

Kenneth was a total professional. He always showed up on time and called to let me know he was on the way. He asked for my input and wanted to make sure I was happy with the whole process. He and his crew cleaned up everything down to the smallest leaves before they left. He takes his reputation seriously and is not satisfied until the customer is happy.

Mr. Langley showed up a few minutes early for the estimate. He waited for the insurance person to arrive, to make sure his estimate of the work required matched that of the insurance company. He moved some other jobs back a day because of how dangerously unstable the tree was on the garage (he called his customers and got their OK to do this). He worked one full day on stabilization and some removal, then another half day on stabilization and starting to salvage. He worked another full day to complete the removal. Work was complete within one week of hiring him (and he did some of his other jobs in that same time period). The area was left as clean as possible each day (considering how unstable it was), and completely cleaned off at the end. He was prompt and always let me know when he would be there and about how long he would work. The next-door neighbors appreciated him letting them know what he was doing and when, and that he cleaned up each day.

Kenneth Langley communicated with me. He did the work like I wanted it done and when there was a question about the work, he called. In fact, he communicates better than any other contractor I've ever worked with before. He arrived exactly on time. He began immediately. He took special care not to allow heavier limbs to fall on shrubs of landscaping. He had a good eye for how to trim the trees for aesthetics and to ensure that overhang into the street allowed trucks to pass without hitting the limbs. Then he cleaned up and you would never know he was there. When the work was complete, he gave me a tour of the work to ensure that I was OK with what had been done. The project took about four hours to complete. He hauled off all of the trimmings. He's a very friendly person with a great work ethic. He's definitely a throwback to a time when contractors were service oriented and customer friendly.

Kenneth came out to give us a bid on short notice, and offered to start the work the same day. He got busy quickly and efficiently, knowing that we had to leave town later that afternoon. He and his crew continued to work during a downpour. They still finished ahead of his estimated time frame. They had to come back a few weeks later to finish a stump grinding, but delivered as promised. Both times, they cleaned up thoroughly. They also take special care not to destroy other plants and flowerbeds nearby.

It went great. It took a while because of the wet weather (Kenneth doesn't like to throw limbs down on damp lawns and create holes) but it got done. The company was meticulous about cleaning up afterward, including sweeping up the driveway of my next-door neighbor. But what I appreciated most was his care in not disturbing two beds of Daffodils that I had planted under two of the trees--one of them the removed tree. What a feat! I've recommended Langley to my son.

Kenneth and his crew did a terrific job of removing the tree and branches that were invading the shingles on the roof of the house. They did an awesome job of cleaning up the debris in my yard and my neighbor's driveway. The entire yard looks like it was vacuumed, not a leaf in sight. The only evidence that a tree used to be in the yard is the stump and roots that he was unable to take care of today due to the soggy ground conditions. I know he will return as promised to complete the job. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of their services. Kenneth is honest, fair, and respectful to his customers. My only regret is not being at home to watch the show!

Kenneth and his guys are wonderful! He went over each tree with us to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted done. He checked in as the work progressed to make sure we were happy and still on the same page. They cleaned up after themselves (better than it was before they started) and took care not to damage any of the surrounding plants. I would highly recommend them.

We had a little trouble connecting with Kenneth at first due to a family emergency. However, he was very faithful about calling us and keeping us informed regarding his delay, and when he expected to be able to arrive. When he came to do the estimate, he was very prompt and very knowledgeable. He asked again what I wanted, and then explained in detail what his recommendations were and why. He even went over the plans a couple of times to make sure we were on the same page. He arrived exactly on time with his crew to do the work, which was done quickly and well. He touched base with me several times during the process to be sure the trees were looking like I wanted. His guys did a great clean up job too. Kenneth was fair in his pricing, did a very good job, and gets very high marks for integrity. We would definitely hire him again.

I called to see when they might be able to come out to trim a very large tree and remove dead broken branches, and was told they would be here within the hour. They cut out the dead branches- trimmed off large limbs, etc, cleaned up all the mess that was made, and hauled it all off. The tree was in a bed of azaleas and they did not damage one of them. Large or small, I think he is willing to do the job.

Great bunch of guys ...hard workers and good people.

Langley Lawn & Tree came out a couple of times to trim some trees after the hurricane, and I feel they did good work. They cut the last tree branch down small enough for the trash service to take away. They usually take the tree branches with them. He is the only one I can find to come out to do little jobs.

We have a very wooded area in the rear of our house with trees on all sides of the house. They need to be kept trimmed or there is a possibility of damage. Kenneth Langley has been doing this for only a short time, but he has done a wonderful job of it. We have not needed an entire tree taken down, so he has not had to do any stump grinding. The half tree facing our house has been cut out and taken away though. We are still hopeful it will survive.
