Fantastic service. Kenneth arrived the day after calling and gave me a thorough estimate for the work including a breakdown of costs per service per tree. He suggested which ones needed to be done currently, which could wait a few years and other good recommendations. Kenneth called me the night before they were suppose to start and said he was having truck problems and may not be there as early as planned to start and he followed up with another call the next morning to update me on his timing. As the work progressed, Kenneth actually did a bit more work than planned and never asked for additional money. In fact, I think the job ended up being a lot more time consuming than originally planned (it took 3 full days instead of the 2 originally estimated) and Kenneth never even asked for or suggested additional compensation. Kenneth was very professional throughout the whole process and I would highly recommend him to others. I intend to use him soon on another property.

They did exactly as we asked, and made good judgment calls in "gray areas" - for example, made a good judgment to keep branches that increased privacy once he saw that the branches don't interfere with trucks passing by. Identified a damaged part of a tree for us to keep watch over; thinned this tree out significantly to take as much weight as possible off the damaged branch. Thoroughly trimmed branches away from roofline and wires. Was nice enough to come back hours later that day to review the work with us and collect payment. I would recommend Langley's Tree Service and would use them again.

Kenneth was out of town and I was leaving town shortly, so we coordinated over the phone. He and his crew came out after I was already on vacation, did the work, and contacted my m-i-l (I had left a blank check with her to mail) with the amount. I think he didn't realize I was totally out of pocket (i.e. no cell service) because he very conscientiously left me several messages when he couldn't make the first agreed-upon day, when he determined additional limbs needed to be cut down, etc. As always, I was very pleased with his responsiveness, the work, and the price. I wouldn't say that he is the least expensive guy out there, but you can count on him to do the right thing, not leave you with a funky-looking stump of a tree, or otherwise not do a good job. I will definitely use him again.

Minus a missing 60' tree from our yard you would not know any work had been performed. All debris and stump grinding shavings were removed from our yard. Everything was explained upfront, Kenneth provided service, pricing and pride in workmanship above and beyond our expectations.

The job was started in the morning and completed by mid afternoon. My nephew was at the house watching the job being perfomed. All work was done and clean up was done very well.

They showed up when expected and stayed until complete. They performed the work they agreed to do in a professional manner.

Kenneth and his crew pruned and trimmed 2 large oak trees, placed flagstone (flatstone) and crushed granite (like granite gravel) in a walkway near our front door and along the driveway, where grass was not growing, and sodded part of our front yard, and spread turf base/builder over most of the remainder of our front yard, where grass was starting to thin. They did an excellent job, left detailed instructions on upkeep and care, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job was completed. In addition, we were asked if we were pleased with the job. His original quote was more than a previous quote we received from another service company/person, so he came down to within the other company's quote. We are pleased with the job Kenneth Langley and his crew did. Very nice people!

He took about 2.5 hours to complete the work. He is insured and explains completely what he is going to do. He cleans up after his work and makes sure there is no debris lying around. His prices are fair.

Very well. On time and the job was completed as quoted. The job was actually quoted at $850 and I included a $50 tip.

Mr. Langley overall did an excellent job including clean up. I gave him a C for responsiveness because he had to reschedule several times due to family concerns. However, he was very good at communicating any delays in a timely manner and I appreciated that. At the appointed time he called early to say he was on his way and was on time.

Kenneth and his crew arrived when promised and finished the job in one day. It took about 8 hours from start to finish, and they also removed all the debris.

Job was done as quoted within a reasonable amount of time under the weather conditions. Kenneth did a great job.

Langley Boy's Pressure Washing - Kenneth Langley came out on Friday to give an estimate for pressure washing our house, sidewalk, and driveway. They beat our previous bids. He and his crew started immediately and worked 5 hours until the job was completed. He performed all the work we requested. Overall they did a great job. The house looks like new. The driveway had some heavy grease spot which could not be totally removed (But Mr. Langley did explain it would take several washing to bring the grease out of the concrete before the job was started.) He was very professional and we will definitely use them in the future.

Langley was incredibly helpful to us after Hurricane Ike. We had a tree resting on our power lines, and he came and removed it with less than a week's notice. Because he was dealing with emergencies at the time, he needed to come back the next month (October) to remove the stumps from the trees we lost, and then agreed to plant new trees for us in November. He also gave us advice on some other landscaping we needed to have done and completed those jobs as well. In each case, he arrived on the day and at the time he said he would with a team of people and did the job efficiently and well. We did pay more than our original estimate for the last job (not the first two), but mostly because he found larger trees than he anticipated.

Kenneth came out promptly and called us with his bid as we live in another town. He said he could start right away and we made arrangements for him to start as soon as we closed on the house. The closing kept getting delayed and Kenneth was able to delay until needed. The work actually began on August, 11 when all 3 trees were cut. Kenneth called and said he'd have to come back another day because it was getting too late to finish. He planned on returning later in the week. Then it rained and he rescheduled. Then he had a leaking rear-end seal on his truck and he rescheduled. Then his son got sick and he rescheduled. hen he had a flat on his trailer and it took 3 days to fix it. Then the stump grinder wouldn't start and had to be rebuilt (he refused to rent another one). Then his mom was ill, then hurricane Ike, then the stump grinder wouldn't start, then his grandmother died, then his son was ill again, then his mom was ill again. All this was probably legitimate, however, there was no effort made to get backup equipment or personnel to complete a job that had already been paid for. He communicated constantly and assured us that he would make things "right" in the end. He offered to return part of my payment in order for me to get someone else, but the amount he offered wouldn't have been enough to do it -otherwise he could have hired a subcontractor himself. The job finally was completed by Kenneth on October 21st. The grinding job was adequate but nothing special. At last the job was done 2 months and 10 days after it had begun.

They arrived on time, got straight to work, very good workmanship on job. I would use them again. They cut extra limbs and charged me too much for five small limbs ($75.00). It's a shame people take advantage of people during a crisis!!

I called him 1-2 days following hurricane Ike. Since the tree damage did not affect any structures and he was busy dealing with customers, who had that sort of damage, it was fair for me to wait till the following Thurs. He showed up within the time frame provided. He gave me an estimate and showed me a certificate of general liability insurance. Like many tree trimmers, he does not carry worker's compensation insurance. We agreed on a price and he and his crew proceeded to work right away. The estimate did not include debris removal. His crew cut the longer limbs into smaller chunks and neatly stacked all the tree debris on the curb where I asked.

Mr. Langley came when he said he was coming; he checked out our trees and gave me his recommendations. He came prepared to work, i.e., he came with his crew and tools. Once we agreed on the job, they set to work, for the next 5 hours approximately, taking out bigger limbs, thinning the inner branches so that more sunlight could filter through the canopy. That included ill-growing suckers, and limbs/branches from one tree crossing or resting on other branches in the other tree. All the while the ground crew was busy, immediately hauling the big branches to their truck and sweeping up smaller branches, twigs and leaves. By the time the tree man was finished, the mess was cleaned up.

We called Kenneth after the storm and left him a message. He called back and got our information and wanted to find out if it was an emergency- if we had a tree on our house. We assured him that he should take care of other more pressing needs before coming our way. He called much sooner than we expected and came out to give us an estimate. We thought his price was a bit high, but he was here and ready to work and was willing to haul off all the branches and other debris. His workers were very friendly and got right to work. They did an excellent job pruning our trees and cutting out the damaged limbs. They finished the job in a reasonable amount of time, and did a great job of cleaning up. Our trees look terrific and our yard looks fantastic.

It went great. His crew was on time, we agreed on a price, and they completed the work that day. Their cleanup is immaculate! Ken and I discussed his recommendations, and I went with almost all of them (again, the decision to delay some work was based on cost). I would not use anyone else to trim or remove trees.

We called Langley Tree Service on Saturday, September 20. This was exactly one week after the storm hit Houston. Understandably, tree services were very busy. Ken Langley was highly responsive and agreed to come out on Wednesday, September 24. He told us that since our tree was touching our power line, it was considered high priority. He came when he promised with a team of four guys. They were professional and efficient, and we were quite satisfied with the work. Langley did not remove the stumps, but told us that if we wanted the stumps ground down, he could come back and do that in a few weeks, after he had gotten trees off people's houses, power lines, etc. We found that entirely reasonable.

With Ike approaching we wanted our trees professionally pruned and thinned to give best chance of surviving the storm. We called Mr. Langley on Tuesday, 9-16-08 and asked for an estimate. He came by Tuesday afternoon, spent a good amount of time examining our trees told us in great detail what he recommended. We agreed on a price, which was higher than 2 others we received. When my wife and I discussed the issue and how thorough Mr Langley work, was compared to the others, we called and gave him the job. Mr. Langley and his crew showed up promptly at about 8 am on 9-17 and began work. The work was not completed until after 7 pm. The tress looked great after the work. Langley and his crew cleaned up my property as well as my neighbor's. All of the waste was removed and I had only a small amount, less than a trash bag's worth to clean up. My neighbor's were impressed and one of them hired Langley before he left my house. All of the trees survived Ike with no broken limbs. We plan on using Langley in the near future to help us with reworking our landscaping.

The team worked very quickly, completing the whole job, including a thorough cleanup in less than 3 hours. It is obvious Kenneth is a professional and takes pride in his work. We had trees on the house that if not removed properly would have caused additional damage. His crew was friendly and they made sure we were satisfied before leaving. I recommend him for anyone needing tree removal, and I plan on having him out to pressure wash soon.

Mr. Langley returned my call promptly with a quote. He offered paperwork regarding insurance coverage, etc. We scheduled a day for the services. He arrived with crew. Spent all day working and cleaned up very nicely and hauled away everything. He was courteous - a little high strung - but hey, he does great work.

It went well. Kenneth and his two man crew were able to remove the dead tree by major branch, lowering each to the ground without damaging either of my fences on either side, or landing anything on the roof of my house, which was only about 10 feet away. We had some discussion on whether it was a good idea to cut the oleanders back too much at this time (July, very hot). The 3 damaged ones needed substantial trimming and the thought was to trim them all back to 6 feet (they were about 12-15 feet initially). I was afraid this would damage the healthy ones. Kenneth called a horticulturist he knew and we all discussed it on the phone with him and decided the damaged ones would be cut back, but the healthier ones would have only the dead portions thinned out until the weather cooled and then we'd cut them back to even them out in Sept or Oct. The oleanders do look a little funny right now but hopefully this will save them. We'll see next spring! I appreciated that Kenneth was willing to get some additional advice right then before we proceeded.
