Description of Work: I contacted Langley tree service via the BBB for an estimate and spoke to Ken, the owner on October 2. He said he would be at the house Oct. 4 to do the estimate but on Oct 6 he called to say he would be there Oct 7. Then on Oct 9 he called to say he just returned from being out of town, and October 11 is when he went to the house. I understand there were some personal matters he needed to deal with during this timeframe, however he should have been up front with this right from the start since I was coordinating with tenants at the house as I do not live there. He gave me a verbal estimate and I asked him for a written estimate which he claimed he would email to me after the weekend. That was October 12. It is 3 weeks later, November 3rd and I have not heard back from him. Fortunately I contacted a different tree service who responded quickly and have already removed the tree, but the real clincher regarding this ordeal is that when I asked Ken several things about the tree in question he never confirmed the correct tree and although I sent him photos via email apparently he never looked at them because it was only after I contacted the other tree service I came to learn that we were talking about a totally different tree! I think Ken needs to talk less and listen more and be realistic with timeframes and what he promises if he is not able to deliver.

Description of Work: He responded quickly and professionally to my request for a quote. Quote seemed to be fair. Fortunately for me, I had a family member volunteer to do the work for me so I never actually had to hire anyone for the service. Would use again in the future.

Description of Work: ordered the deal - the provider sent me an email with the phone number to call and set up an appt. after rescheduling several appt for an estimate, he has yet to come. have had several excuses ( grandmother ill, no caregiver for children, had to register kids for school, then had to get books for children they did not get at registration. Then the last was his grandmother was ill again.

Description of Work: 1st of all he stated that Angie's listed the Ad wrong stated that the ad was to be 99.00 off of work over 500.00 and my work as going to be 600.00 So I ended up paying him 500.00 instead of 99.00 for 500.00 worth of work. He cancel coming so many time I lost count. Never again.

Description of Work: Mr. Langley met with me, performed the work I needed (and more!) the same day! His prices are very fair, and he is a super pleasure to work with, and willing to travel!! He did such an awesome job, the yard actually made my whole house look better! I am definitely going to refer my friends, family an neighbors to him! THANK YOU!!! :-)
