He was very courteous to our family. Kept the areas he worked in very clean, which we greatly appreciated.

The only regret we have is not having hired Eric earlier. The transformation of a previously unusable addition into a family room was incredible and the space quickly became our number one hangout. I highly recommend Eric and his team. I’d like to give a special shout out to his cabinet guy.. the room got much needed storage and a focal point with the amazing execution of custom cabinetry. 10/10, would hire again!

This is the second time I’ve hired Eric and his crew and the second time he has really come through. The attention to detail and thoroughness is present from start to finish. He has a professional and friendly crew that are extremely good at what they do. They did several small patches and fixes around the house, lots of interior painting, and they painted a two story wood deck in preparation for listing the house. They worked quickly and the job was very nicely done. A little note about cost: these guys have not been immune to the rising costs of lumber and paint. Be prepared that your project may cost more than you expect because of the current outrageous cost of lumber and paint. That being said, Eric and his crew are well worth it. Last time, I left a review that basically said, “HIRE them.” This time? “HIRE them again.”

This is the second time we have worked with Eric and both times our experience has been excellent. After the winter storm, we had extensive damage to the house. Eric and his team promptly started work and stayed in communication through the repair. When we had one of the repairs not up to our satisfaction, Eric made sure to work on it until it was brought up to our expectations. We would recommend Eric for any restoration or renovation jobs! Eric Fowler of Distinguished Designs was referred to us from a friend of ours, formerly in the construction business. His proposal was very competitive, and he was able to start right away. His Team was great. They suggested several ideas that were incorporated into the project that were a value add. In addition the work they performed was quality work. Very professional and polite as well. I'm a a retired Architect, my wife is in Commercial Real Estate. We could not be more pleased. We highly recommend Eric Fowler and Distinguished Designs.

The workmanship was excellent. Eric has a great group of guys working for him. There were hidden issues that were revealed during demo and they were able to make the repairs quickly and did not cause a delay in the job.

Eric kept us informed every step of the way. His team did an amazing job and I have the bathroom I have always wanted. We will definitely use him again.

This contractor was top rate. While completing my bathroom remodel the crew took extra efforts to cover all items in work area that could potentially become dusty including placing plastic on floor areas where crew would be entering and exiting home. The contractor cleaned work area meticulously throughout the day. All of the plumbing work was done to code and the contractor took time before starting project to explain how redesigning of the bathroom project would increase functionality and value of home. I am completely satisfied the detail and care and professionalism that Distinguished Designs provided during my bathroom remodel.

These guys are great. I have had them do work at my house several times-always on time, do a great job and leave no mess behind. Would I use them again? Absolutely!

Third time we’ve used Eric, owner of Distinguished Designs. Previous jobs were a laundry room remodel and the addition of a detached outdoor patio with roof. This time it was a beach house remodel in Galveston. We’ve found that Eric has very good attention detail, used highly skilled crews, and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of construction. Feeling comfortable with Eric’s abilities, what started as an “add another bathroom” job turned into a complete remodel. We are very happy with the end product and would not hesitate to use Eric again. Many of our neighbors have seen the finished remodel and requested Eric’s contact information. Excellent!! I would recommend this company for any home improvement work I have. First, they care about what they do. Second, they make sure the work is done to your satisfaction. Third, Mr. Fowler, the Owner takes personal responsibility that everyone who works for him is both professional and performs to his high standards. Finally, they are reasonably priced.

It went well in spite of the winter freeze. My husband and I are perfectionists in the work we look for, Eric is very hands on and has great attention to detail. Excellent! I was so pleased with Eric and his professional crew. My floors were rotted out and my porcelain tiles were aged cracked and had to be replaced. I was nervous about the job because my real problem was not a remodeled bathroom but a plumbing emergency. Eric came in and evaluated what needed to be done. He gave me solid professional advice, ordered what I needed; matching paint included and gave me great advice in selecting replacement Porcelain tiles. I plan to use Eric and Distinguished Designs for any remodeling or home improvement jobs I have in the future. We are very pleased with the brand new bathroom. Oh! Did I mention he gave me a very good price for the the amount and quality of the work. You can’t go wrong with Eric and Distinguished Designs!

Excellent. I was very nervous in selecting a home improvement and repair company. My previous experience was not very good. In fact the job we hired Distinguished Designs to handle was the result of a previous botched job done by another company. Eric and his professional staff were excellent from the estimate to the last drop of paint that they matched exactly with my current ceiling and wall colors. I would describe Distinguished Designs as Professional, on time, courteous and reasonably priced. I know if I need a home improvement project handled right- I will call Distinguished Designs first. You can never pay enough for someone who cares about the work they do. I highly recommend Eric Fowler and his professional staff at Distinguished Designs.

After several delays due to slow delivery of materials or heavy rains, work finally proceeded in a timely manner. The stairs turned out to look great and I was amazed at the roof cover, extending the roof over the top of the landing to protect from the rain. The very cold and rainy weather caused another delay to finish the stain coating until after the Holidays, but finally were able to apply the stain which required a warmer temperature. Overall, I am very happy with the end result. Eric Fowler was attentive to what I wanted and worked with me to my complete satisfaction. Marie Jo Reid.

The job went very well.Eric and his crew worked non- stopped to install for me a attic door and ladder that met the codes and standards for attic entry. The work was done on a professional level. The job was finished to my surprise before the date anticipated.After the job was finished the guys left my home clean. That was very impressive.

Eric and his team were amazing. Our addition turned out better than I ever could have imagined. Eric was patient, consultative and an absolute perfectionist which means everything in construction.
