My mother and I both agree that A+ Castle Plumbing did an excellent job meeting our plumbing needs. I dropped a bobby pin down my bathroom sink and it clogged the drain. My mom and I had just used Angie's list for another servicing need and we decided to look up a plumber to fix our problem. When we saw the $88 Angie's list special we decided to go with A+ Castle Plumbing. I called them from work and they let me know that they would be available in a week. My mom said that that would be too long so she looked into have someone else work on the issue. Our alternative choice did not make it out to our house before A+ Castle Plumbing did. They began work in the morning after I left for work and were done before I came back from work (I work 9 to 5). They guys were extremely courteous and knowledgable. At first, they had difficulty removing the clog in my bathroom sink and upon further investigation, they found a massive clog in our pipes. My mom informed them that we hadn't had our pipes serviced in 12+ years so she wasn't surprised. Knowing this, they did a quick but thorough inspection of our home. The men went ahead and cleared the clog, flushed the water heater, and checked our kitchen sink leak. We have a crack in the countertop surrounding our sink and they advised my mom that instead of changing the countertop and the sink at the same time, we should wait until after we have remodeled the sink area. They even bought and attached a new hose for our dishwasher that was cut by a prior plumber and causing water waste. This was free of charge. This company is very accommodating and know how to conduct business. The price was more than fair and they gave us discounts as well as freebies. We will be using A+ Castle Plumbing for our future plumbing needs.

Based on great Angie's List ratings and coupon, I called A+ Castle Plumbing to flush my two 40 gal. attic gas water heaters. A+ agreed to my proposed time and date and two plumbers arrived at my home within the agreed time frame. The work was performed professionally and quickly, and A+ even took the time to show me how to perform this annual maintenance task myself. I definitely recommend A+ Castle, especially to homeowners in the Spring and Woodlands area north of Houston.

I first contacted A+ Castle based on reviews on here. I set up the original estimation appointment and they arrived promply. I was told that our existing gas pipe was to small to branch a new line for the range so they had to run it from the meter. They seemed very knowledgable and were very professional. After looking at our alternatives, we decided to go forward with the new line. I called and set up a scheduled date. When the day came for them to install there was a mix up and they were late. We were given a time frame of 8 to 2:30 as our block of time for the day. I was told that they would be there by 8:30 so my husband could walk them through what we needed before he had to leave for work. Unfortunatly, they did not show up until 10:30 after repeated attempts to contact them to make sure they were still coming. Once they called me back I was told they had a issue with getting the right supplies and that they tried to call me but they had my phone number down incorrectly. They showed up within a matter of minutes once I was able to get in touch with them. After they arrived, they had another issue with the pipe they came with so they had to run out and get another and they also came with the wrong size nipple which led them out to get a replacement as well. This put them behind schedule a little bit and did not get done until around 3:15 that afternoon. Overall, they did an excellant job and I would use them again. I would also recommend them to others as it seems this was just a little mess up with the timing.

They were courteous, professional, fair and fast. What more could you want? Jerry showed my husband the source of our kitchen sink water leak and gave him the pros and cons of each repair option. When we opted for a new disposal, he immediately purchased and installed a new one for us. During that time Grayson was removing the lavatory faucets and cleaning the under sink area. Jerry then installed the four new faucets (and left the area spotless!). All this happened in less than three hours! Jerry also gave us a written estimate to replace our 12 year old water heater. We are very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them to our friends.

On the scheduled day of service, A+ Castle Plumbing called ahead and indicated the plumber was on his way and would arrive in approximately one hour. The plumber (Jerry Critchfield) arrived approximately 70 minutes after I received the phone call. He promptly asked about the problem. I informed him that my 4 year old grandson had accidentally flushed a 4 inch pumice stone down the toilet resulting in it being clogged. My simple attempts (plunger, wire probe) had failed to dislodge the wedged stone. Jerry reviewed the options to fix the problem and their cost. He immediately proceeded to use a toilet auger in an attempt to break the pumice stone. Repeated attempts finally resulted in the stone fracturing and allowing the water to flow freely from the toilet. The total time to diagnose and fix the problem was less than 40 minutes. Jerry was very knowledgeable, professional and prompt in quickly resolving the problem. He was also willing to provide suggestions regarding an unrelated plumbing issue. I highly recommend A+ Castle Plumbing in general, and Jerry in particular, as an excellent company to do business with.

I called and spoke with Jerry, who scheduled me for an estimate. They were a few hours late arriving, and I had to call them to find out if/when they were coming. That is the only complaint I really have. My tenant said that they were very nice and professional, and Jerry got the estimate to me promptly, so I decided to have the work done by them. On the day of installation, they were on time and just as courteous and professional. When I asked my tenant if she would hire A+ Castle based on her interaction and experience, she said yes. As I live in a different state than the home where the work was done, it would have been much harder to find a reliable contractor to do the work without reviews from Angie's List. And should I need a plumber in the future, I would call A+ Castle again.

We had a checklist for them to do and very quickly they came out to give us a quote. They explained things very well and I appreciated the time they took to give us a detailed estimate. We hired them to install a new water heater and install our gas dryer. Without going into too many details, we had an issue with one of the installers. (Nothing too serious but he used our bathroom without asking...the toilet he used was not working and we had decided to turn the water off and wait to fix it because of budget. I would have guided him to a working toilet if he asked. We did not discover this had happened until that evening because he did not tell us.) Needless to say we were a bit disturbed and disappointed by this so we contacted the company to let them know what happened. They were apologetic and were genuinely not happy with the report. I cannot say enough about their customer service. They corrected everything above and beyond what they could have done. I'm very grateful.

Jerry and his helper arrived within the scheduled time period. They put on booties as soon as they came in. Jerry assessed the problem, provided an explanation of what needed to be done and began work. When completed, he explained in detail what caused the toilet to become unseated. We had the same problem almost 5 months earlier and A+ Castle did the work then too. Jerry said the repair would be free of charge, but I insisted on paying because the toilet held for more than 4 months with no problem. They cleaned the area thoroughly and took all trash with them. I will continue using this company for all my plumbing needs because they are trustworthy, highly competent, friendly, and cost efficient.

The plumber arrived on schedule. He not only fixed the issue, but took the time to explain the problem and how he was resolving it and why it would cost as much as it did. I will use this company again for my next plumbing issue and I am 'very' particular and was not overly excited about the bill. As a side note: The plumber was able to articulate in perfect English with me. I did not have to try to decipher what he was saying. This is also very important to me.

The provider arrived at the scheduled time and work was completed satisfactorially within the estimated time frame. I would recommend this provider for future work.

Excellent service. Professional did a great job. Cleaned up the area better than it looked before they came to complete the work. Definitely will use them again. And tell my friends and family. Family owned business and treated my home like their own.

I have two 40 gallon gas water heaters and one of them was leaking water that filled my drip pan in the attic. I called A+ Castle Plumbing and scheduled a service appointment. Micah came out the next day and informed me that I needed a new water heater. He provided quotes for different repair options. I could not afford a new water heater at the time and chose the option to rework the water lines so the other water heater could supply hot water to the whole house. Micah and Grayson came the next day. They were punctual and professional. I will definitely be using A+ Castle Plumbing for all of my plumbing needs.

A+ Castle Plumbing was good. I had to pay for what I got done past the Big Deal. They were courteous and nice. They ran a little late but that can be expected because they were doing a job. They did a good job and I would use them again. I felt that the price was a little steep.

Jerry was very informative and professional. He informed me immediately on inspection that the Mansfield toilets in my house actually had defected manufactured parts that were recalled a few years ago due to the exact problem he was fixing for me. I was not aware that the parts had been recalled. I had the same issue with one of our other toilets two years ago that caused some serious damage to our home. Basically was out of town for three weeks and came home to a flood due to this part breaking in the toilet in my Master bathroom. I plan to contact Mansfield and find out what they can do for me since this has happened to us twice in two years! Jerry was very knowledgable and helpful. He recommended we replace all our toilets since the ones we have are only builder grade, if not worse. We plan to do just that over the next year. We just weren't prepared to replace all four at this time. I will definitely call them back if I have plumbing problems in the future.

Jerry was very punctual, showing up exactly when stated, and listening to my concerns. He gave me an estimate that day, and although I felt the price was a little steep, I decided to accept anyway, because I wanted the work done, and was confident in the company, based on all the glowing reviews I have read. They didn't disappoint; although none of their suppliers had the parts that I wanted in stock, Jerry assured me that he could obtain such and be back the next day to install them. As promised, he came back the next day, and had the new valves installed in no time. I had also asked if I could purchase a brass 90 degree fitting for my water heater drain; Jerry provided the fitting and installed it for no fee. He and his associate were very pleasant, efficient, polite and thorough. I wouldn't hesitate to call them for a major plumbing problem.

Service man arrived on time, was very professional, and performed services in a timely manner.

I called A+Castle Plumbing because their reviews were good and they were offering a 10% off or $100 off any job over $500. My hot water heater had already started leaking when I called to make the appointment which had been set for two days after my call date. I had also ask for some technical phone assistance so I could turn off the water and gas to the hot water heater. A Technican from the company called me an hour later and told me what to do and actually ended up coming out that night to access the situation and disconnect and drain the water heater. Then he got my scheduled appointment moved up to the next day so we would only be without hot water for one day. He noticed that the original exhaust vent was not up to code and said he would fix that when he came back and paint the new vent to blend in with the rest of the house. He did come back the next day and put in the new hot water heater and re-did the vent. He forgot the paint and a brush and I could not find any usable paint in my garage so that will be a handyman job for a later date. He hauled away the old hot water heater and cleaned up the area and went way above my expectations for this job. I was very satisfied with the job he did and really appreciate that he was able to get to my job so early. I had not expected him to make two trips out to my house and that was also greatly appreciated. I do wish he had left the user manual that came with the water heater but overall he did an excellent job, I was very satisfied and will definately use his company again.

At my request, the technician also took the time to explain to me the benefits of a tankless water heating system vs. a traditional tank. He was very knowledgeable and thorough in his explanation and because of that information, we are now mostly likely to go tankless in the home we are purchasing. We have had a bad experience with traditional systems! Overall, this company was an excellent choice and we will be using them for work in the future. Jerry arrived promptly and did a thorough job flushing the water heater and the plumbing inspection. He took the time to walk me through everything that needed to be fixed and what each job would entail He priced out each job individually in case we wanted to do the work piece meal. I know that some of the things I can repair myself - and he agreed with me on that. I never felt that he was trying to sell me more than what I paid for. We will definitely consider using them when we are ready to proceed with the bigger jobs.

A+ Castle was able to come the following day after I called them and they were prepared to complete the work if I wanted it done that day as well. Their quote came in at almost 1/2 of what was quoted by another company. I did my research and knew that they were in the ballpark of an honest quote with their bid. I asked that they come back the next day, which they did. They installed the line, which included the pressure test. All work was done in less than 2 hours. Very happy, I would call them again/
