Description of Work: Albert Goettle plumbing is the only plumber you need to call. Another plumber on W. Marshall, Longview, Texas, insisted there was only one line coming out of my home and I had a blockage in the slab and they needed to break the slab in my home and do costly repairs. I called Goettle and their plumbers found a second line coming out of my home that was not tied into a newly installed aerobic system that was the cause of the blockage. Two other plumbers could not find the line that Geottle found and that is why only one line was tied in originally. That line was tied in to the line flowing to the aerobic system by the aerobic installer and problem solved.

Description of Work: A note upfront: This is intended to be a positive review. There was a problem (see below), but overall Mr. Goettle handled it in a very professional and satisfactory manner. | |I hired Goettle plumbing to replace my house's main sewer line after trouble with roots. I received estimates from three local companies, and Mr. Goettle's was the lowest. I was able to speak on the phone to Mr. Goettle himself, and he seemed very knowledgeable, answering all of my concerns. He promised me that the job would not be over $1600, and he was true to his word. | |The work was completed within the time frame he gave me, the $1600 bill arrived, and I paid it. 2-3 weeks after I had paid the bill, I noticed water bubbling up in the yard, around the area where the line replacement had been done. I called Goettle Plumbing the next morning and spoke to an employee (not Mr. Goettle) who was not particularly helpful, not offering any real ideas about what the problem might be, and telling me just to "keep an eye on it." I decided to do an experiment that afternoon, running water from all of my sinks, etc to see if I could make more water come up from the ground. I eventually determined that the water came up from the ground when I was running the washer. I called Goettle Plumbing again the next day and explained what I had done. This time I got Mr. Goettle himself on the line, and he agreed that there was a problem and promised to send someone out to check into it. I got a call that afternoon or the next asking me to meet one of his plumbers at my house. When I got home, the plumber had already dug in the area I had described, and determined that they had not noticed the line from the wash room when they had done the original job, and had failed to tie it into the new main line. This made sense, given the water in the yard whenever I ran the washer. The plumber was quite apologetic, promising to tie the wash room line into the main line at no additional charge. I was satisfied with this, and left him to his work. | |I have had no additional issues since the follow-up job to tie the wash room line into the main line was completed. Although it took two attempts instead of one, I believe that I received all of the services that I was entitled to for my $1600. Overall, I believe the job was a good value, and I appreciate Mr. Goettle's professionalism in making right on his company's mistake.

Description of Work: They were prompt and did the job quickly. The price was very reasonable.

Description of Work: Replaced leaking water heater with new unit. Very neat, no water mess at all.

Description of Work: Resolved a plumbing leak in attic - hot water heater.
