Description of Work: We requested a quote on some improvements we wanted to do in the back yard. The sales person was on time for the appointment and did provide an initial quote to us about a week or so later. However, we had a few questions about some of the items provided in the quote as well as a possible addition to the work that never got addressed. We never did hear back from the sales person and ulitmately ended up hiring another company for our project. I was a bit disappointed, as the quoted prices were within our price range and my husband and I were anxious to get started.

Description of Work: replaced really old fence with brand new one. I thought it was real expensive but I don't know that much about fences.

Description of Work: Installed a new back yard fence and front fence, it went great! It was a little hard to get scheduled up front but once they got started it went very smooth and they did great work and it still looks wonderful.

Description of Work: We used Texas Best Fence. They added our fence, they put for us concret flower beds, and they put a concrete pad for our trailer.

Description of Work: Based on reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Texas Best Fence, described the service I needed ( install bull wire on existing split timber fence, install flat board wooden fence to completely enclose the front and back yards, and install 3 gates within the new fence). Ross with Texas Best Fence arrived on time on 7/2/2013. After a discussion about the fact that installing wire fencing was not in his department, but that he could oversee the new fence installation and wire fence, I was told that I would have an estimate of costs by Friday 7/5 or Monday 7/8. I never received a response. Fortunately, I also requested a bid from T Bar fence on 7/5, received the bid by the 7/9, and the job was completed ( and quite well) by 7/31.

Description of Work: Contacted them about repairs to my fence and barn door service. They replied that they were unable to help me with my barn door. I moved on to a different vendor. Seemed professional enough -- but in my opinion it took them too long to get back to me. YMMV.

Description of Work: Attempted to obtain estimate. Sent email received a call in less than an hour to arrange a time to see the property. On the appointment day after moving heaven and earth to get home on time I called when no one had showed up 15 minutes after my appointment time. A women very cordially answered the phone and informed my appointment was 5:30pm not the agreed upon 5pm. Ok i thought maybe I missunderstood the original appointment. I waited...6.... 6:30....7...Nothing. No one called to informe me that they were running late or had to reschedule. They just did not show. Very unprofessional. I will not be using them. Update: they called back and had the wrong number and address. Very apologetic. Will give another chance.

Description of Work: A off duty fireman hit my fence a week before Thanksgiving. I called Texas Best Fence and they transferred me to Texas Best Stain. I talked to them on Thursday and I had an estimate Monday. They fixed and stained my fence and rebuilt my stone column. My new fence and stone column blends with my old one. It looks awesome.

Description of Work: I called 11 highly rated providers; 6 never responded to my call; 5 came out; 1 said my job was too difficult due to existing plants and trees. 1 failed to bid. I liked all three that bid and Texas Best Fence was the cheapest. The job was not perfect (I would actually give them an a- on quality) but I was very pleased for the price. Their price was subtantially lower than the others and about half of another bidder who bid after Texas Best Fence and said negative things about them. I am glad I did not go with his negative review. They broke a sprinkler head and when I called them about it after I had paid (I did not realize it was not working till later) they came out and fixed it promptly. I found this impressive. THe crew worked hard and got the job done when they said they would. I would use the company again. This was a side by side prestained fence for my back yard replacing a 25 year old fence.

Description of Work: They installed a deck and a pergola. There was a small problem where they didn't do exactly what I requested. They did a very good job to try and fix it to my satisfaction. The end result was very good!

Description of Work: Constructed 6' to 8' board on board wood fence in back yard with graduating steps to conform to terrain. Estimate and work was done in a professional manner to my complete satisfaction. I love the enclosure which feels like an extra room has been added and Iam able to enjoy my patio and flowers in a secure setting. The price afforded more for the $ than competitive estimate.. Wouldrecommend to friends.
