Description of Work: They will return when the weather changes to wash and stain the fence. They removed our old fence. The constructed the new fence. They installed a strip on top of the fence to protect the pickets. They also installed a "kick plate" at the bottom of the pickets to protect them when the weed eater is used. They were professional. They did a good job.

Description of Work: We needed to have our 8 ft. perimeter fence stained again (fence is about 10 years old). Job was set up OK and overall they did an "OK" job but not great - there was just one worker on the job, and due to some scheduling issues for him + our normal spring weather problems, the job stretched over several days - we had to point out a few areas that we thought he needed to touch up + the clean up did not go all that well - a lot of stain on metal parts that had to be cleaned (after we pointed it out) and the locks on our gates (we have several) were so gummed up with stain/paint he had to work on them a bit so we could use the locks again. I would have thought there would have been an inspector at least once who could have supervised him better. Overall an "OK" but not perfect job.

Description of Work: This company built a 7 foot cedar fence with galvanized posts. Footers for the posts were dug deep enough, materials for the fence were high quality throughout. If you're doing to put a level or carpenter's square to the fence when it's done, you'll be disappointed in the details. Looks great from 20 feet though. Though they advertise a $250 discount to Angie's List customers, this offer is up to you to bring up and up to you to badger them to get. Charged illegal surcharge for credit card payment but relented when challenged. Ensure you are quoted both cash discount price and full credit card price ahead of time. Estimated footage was exactly what was installed, cutting one corner a little far into the enclosed area.

Description of Work: They replaced my parents' fence. Did a good job. Stained it as well (before putting it up.) Had a minor problem with the gate shutting properly a month or so afterward, due to moisture, but they fixed that right up after a single call.

Description of Work: They stained a fence they had installed 3 years ago as this was promoted as a reduced rate. We love the fence and the color of its original stain. The re-stain was completed timely especially considering the weather issues. I requested the same color as the original but what was applied was more red. I did not notify them as I doubted they could lighten it. They applied the stain with a sprayer resulting in a lot of overspray on the ground along the edge. We have a dog with very long white hair on her feet and, since they failed to contact me prior to applying the stain, she came in with a lot of stain on her feet before we noticed the stain had been applied. Had we known this had occurred, we would have walked her in the front yard until there was time for this to all soak in or wash away.

Description of Work: Texas Best Fence did a complete board on board fence around our property with gates and top caps. They did first class work, completed the job on time. This all happened despite a severe cold front that came through North DFW - their crew worked out there for two days in 20 and 30 degree weather and did an amazing job and still finished on time. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The cost may seem high, but when you consider what they do on the prestaining and the ability to transfer the warranty to a subsequent homeowner, the value is much better since they still came in at about the same price as other quotes.

Description of Work: Fence installation was great and prompt. Opt for better grade of fence material/pickets. If you put opt for an automatic gate, get someone else to do the electrical for the gate. I had installed pipe and wire in the from the breaker to the gate opener location, and the ground but I wasnt home to supervise. They pulled new wire, pulled my pipe from the ground and installed smaller pipe. My wife was extremely frustrated, when their electrician would not stop and listen. Gate works great but we had to lay another pipe to house the electrical for another application. Hope that will save you some frustration, because we maxed out.

Description of Work: we needed areas of our fence replaced due to age & a neighbor's rambunctious puppy. |my husband set the appointment up & mark came out to meet with me. he was very polite, explained everything very well & definitely sold me on their services. after a few other quotes, we decided to go with texas best fence because they had the best warranty & the best pricing for what we wanted. i contacted kimbra at the main office to set up a time to get started, she was also very nice & helpful. 2 guys came out just a few days later & literally worked into the night to get the fence finished. they showed up slightly after the time we had been told they would be there, but it wasn't a problem. we are very happy with our beautiful fence & would recommend texas best fence.
