Texas Best Fence & Patio

Colby Coward came out and provided Estimate to replace our fence. After agreeing to terms of contract Colby and his crew came out and built our fence. Project and experience well over exceeded our expectations. I would recommend using Texas Best Fence with any of your outdoor projects.

Texas Best Fence provided me outstanding customer service and did a great job installing a driveway gate and motor. Colby (the owner) spent much time with me answering my questions regarding the motor for the gate, the warranty, and many other aspects of the project. The office manager was also very helpful to me as I was trying to schedule the project, which included powder coating the existing gate. The crew who installed the posts, gate, and motor were very customer friendly, did a thorough job, and were experienced in their trade. After the installation was complete, another person on the team programmed my gate and provided me more knowledge about the box and programming. I am very pleased that I chose TBF to do this project, and I strongly recommend them. I certainly will be using them for future projects. Thank you Colby!

My husband and I received a free consult on Tuesday 12/12/17. We were told that pricing would be given the next day 12/13/17. Today is 12/18/17 and no word from Jeff so my husband spoke with Amy (today 12/18/17). She was rude when answering questions and hung up on him. I hope the owner is aware of the $15,000-$20,000 his company will not be receiving from us and the damage my Facebook and Instagram post will cause his business.

This company was very decent. They did a good job on my gate and fence using #1 cedar.

Keith Willingham was very quick to understand how we wanted our new fence to be designed. He provided his proposal in writing along with many written references. On the day the work was to begin, his crew chief Luis arrived promptly and worked at an amazing pace. They finished in the timeframe promised and cleaned up all the mess. We could not be more pleased with our fence and our experience with Keith and Texas Best Fence.

Went good. They replaced the posts even though I was not home. The sealer/stainer treatment was done quickly.

We finally took the plunge and had a pool constructed in our back yard which was a perfect time to replace the existing fence. A number of fence contractors were contacted for quotes that included Texas Best Fence (who incidentally was mentioned as one of four top contractors in Denton county). Texas Best Fence was selected to construct our new fence with the president, Colby Coward directly involved in the entire process from preparing a quote, working with our pool contractor for the best construction time to ensuring we were satisfied with the completed project. A stone retaining wall and footer were selected over wood that was built by Marcos and the masonry team. The finished stone work is attractive and exceptional due to their meticulous attention to detail. When the stonework was complete, Luis and the carpenter team went to work on constructing an outstanding board on board fence that was finished off with a miniature house in the rear with our street number. We are very pleased with the work by Texas Best Fence and would recommend they be considered for any type of fence work you may be considering.

From Kimbra who was out in advance to measure and provide an estimate to Antonio who did the repairs, the wash and the stain I felt confident in their ability to deliver and extremely satisfied with the result. Was first introduced to the firm by an Angie's List coupon and I'm very glad I responded. Great service, great result and great value. Would, and have, recommend to a friend or neighbor.

It went terribly. First, someone came out to investigate the issue (past the time window I was given), spent about five minutes, said he knew what the issue was and that it would be covered by warranty (which was news to me, since I thought we were past the warranty date). Then claimed they'd get it fixed the following week. Okay, all sounded good. Then a new person came out the following week. He had clearly not been briefed by the prior individual, so I was starting from scratch. He had two ideas for the fix, suggested neither would be eligible for warranty (which is fine, since I wasn't expecting that -- but the flip flop on the topic was annoying), but said he'd have to discuss with his boss so no work could be done immediately. Said his boss would call me the following Monday (his visit was on a Friday). It's now Tuesday afternoon. I've heard nothing from Texas Best Fence. I just called a new company to have them come out. At this point, I don't even care if the repair would have been covered by warranty. I've wasted so much time trying to give Texas Best Fence this business, but their actions convey they aren't really interested in it. And that's fine, but the waste of my time is really aggravating.

The best contractor experience I've ever had. Andrea did a great job designing our replacement fence, adding some nice finishing touches, etc -and the price was competitive. Sergio's crew was amazing. Professional, hard-working and attention to detail. I recommend Texas Best Fence if you need the best fence on your block - and make sure you work with Andrea and Sergio!

Excellent workmanship by Chilo and his crew. They finished a beautiful fence in one day! Keith was the project manager. He was very attentive to our needs and special requests. He was punctual and professional.

They replaced a section in the back and one in the front. The rest belongs to a neighbor and we didn't have to touch that. Their customer service was very responsive. Once they finished the work, there were a couple things that I wanted fixed. They had no problem coming out in a timely fashion and fixing the things I needed fixed. That was probably the biggest thing that stood out.

We had Texas Best Fence remove our old fence and replace with a cedar. We are very pleased with the results. They weren't the cheapest by any means, but they included everything we wanted in a fence. All other companies had to add everything They did the complete job in 2 days, including removing the old fence. The workmanship is outstanding. The salesman and the crew were always on time. We had already planned a out of town overnight for the final day of the install. We were nervous about leaving before it was complete. No worries though, when we returned the next day, we had a beautiful new fence and no adjustments or problems were found. We love it.

We had no idea how this would go. We wanted our patio covered but we have such an odd roofline...it was definitely gonna be a tough job. I got several recommendations for Texas Best from guys at work, so we gave them a call. Best call we ever made. Jeff Richards (our sales contact) and Arturo (the design/builder) and team exceeded our expectations. We trusted that they knew what they were doing and just said "do whatever you have to". They exceeded our expectations in every way. The construction team was polite, informative, punctual and respectful of our property. Jeff was always very quick to respond to any questions. The patio cover is absolutely brilliant and looks like it just belongs with the house. I was so happy with the result, I sent home office a praising email. The owner of the company personally called to thank me for the email. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend Jeff and his team.

Andrea was my contact with the company. Everything was great. I could not have asked for a better fence. Everyone I have shown pictures to are just amazed by how great it looks. The guys that came out to do the installation were quick and picked up EVERYTHING when they were done. You literally could not tell they had been there other than the new fence. No saw dust, no nails, no trash, nothing.

Yes, I would use them again. Mostly good except for the electrical. They had to hook up the electric gate.

I was contacted immediately and an appointment was scheduled for an estimate. Matt did a great job of explaining the process from start to finish. The crew, led by Gomez, worked very hard, workmanship top notch. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the work was finished.

Texas Best Fence and Stain provide great service and workmanship. We chose TBFS because our neighbors had such a great experience with them. We share a fence and I was very impressed with both the quality of the wood used for the build and the workmanship. Kimbra provided a quick and detailed estimate using her "wheel of fortune" to measure length of the side and rear fence lines. She provided several options on fence types. We chose "board on board" with a 6 inch kick-board and a 2 x 6 top cap. All of the posts are now metal. All of the boards were pre-dipped cedar so there was no need to have the fence stained. The fence was installed by Luis and his brother. They are both master craftsmen and it was a joy to watch them create a work of art. They removed and replaced 137 feet of fencing. They started at 10:45 and were done by 8:00 PM. The transformation of our yard is amazing. Luis and his crew did a great job of cleaning up all debris and the dirt from the post holes not just in our yard but also the neighbors as well. Kimbra collaborated with Luis to make sure the install went well. She came out a few days after the fence was installed to double check the project and confirm the clean up was complete and met our expectations. Thanks to Texas Best Fence and Stain we will be spending a lot more time in our backyard!
