Texas Best Fence & Patio

They arrived on time and completed the installation quickly within two days, however the 6 foot gate was too low. We had requested the gate continue at the same height as the fence it was in line with, this was a 6 foot fence but due to the ground slope was actually raised up and reached a height of nearly 8 feet After a short discussion they came back the next day and redid the work. We now have a custom gate to our required height I can only recommend them highly. Seeing how a contractor corrects a mistake, without questioning whose fault it was, was very impressive.

The sales rep came out promptly to look at our fencing needs. Nice guy and seemed quite professional. However, we never received an estimate. We talked to him once and he said he would get the estimate to us. Never received it. Called the office and they contacted sales rep. Said he needed an email address (which we gave him when he was here). Gave him the email address, and still no estimate. Called the office a couple more times and was told the estimate would be coming. Still haven't received it. This is doubly disappointing because we selected this business for an estimate based on their ad in the Angie's List monthly magazine and their outstanding ratings. This is a busy time of year for fencing contractors, so taking a while to get an estimate is understandable. However, no contact with us and unmet promises that we would receive the estimate soon are not understandable and definitely unprofessional.

The estimate was done promptly and was thoroughly explained as I had requested several options. Virtually every contingency was discussed so I was completely prepared for anything that could potentially go wrong. Nothing went wrong. The fence was completed in two days and has gotten rave reviews from everyone that has seen it.

Everything was done per the contract and I am very happy. I would recommend them

Andrea was kind and patient with our questions and requests throughout the process. After getting about 8 estimates from other companies, Texas Best Fence had the best options for our budget. The cedar arrived pre-stained which most companies did not offer. The 2 men that built the fence were very professional. The detail and craftsmanship of this fence was the work of a true artist. They were polite & helpful while advising us throughout the job. + I will contact Texas Best Fence first for any future projects we have. We are so pleased with the fence and will recommend Texas Best Fence to anyone!

They were supposed to give me an estimate on staining and repairing a patio cover. Their office staff was great - we set an appointment, they sent me a confirmation email, and they followed up with a reminder call. Unfortunately at the appointed time, no one showed up or called with an explanation.

Did not select this provider because our neighbor also does fences, so decided to go with neighbor even though the cost was slightly higher. Texas Best Fence sent a rep next day after I called. He left me with professional brochure with options and very readable estimate. I would have chosen them had I not found out my neighbor also does quality fences.

They did an awesome job. They replaced a very old and ugly fence with a beautiful 8 Ft Board on Board fence. The crew worked extremely hard in awful weather. The were here when they said they would be, cleaned up every night and never left me with a mess. They worked on Saturday to get the job completed, when hard rain caused one day to be shortened. There were absolutely no issues and great followup too. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a quality fence and quality workers.

He came out on time and was very professional. We have three gates and he added the third for no extra charge. The gates now open and close easily. I would definitely use Texas Best Fence again and have already referred them to friends.

TBF is great! Extremely professional and their contractors are reliable and do beautiful work. They're not cheap but it looks beautiful.

They were one of three companies that we contacted through Angie’s List, who came out and gave us bids. They were very knowledgeable about the types of fence. We kind of though we knew what we wanted. Once they came out and gave us some of the pros and cons of different fence styles we decided to go with what their recommendation was, and now, nine months later, we are very happy with it. One of the selling points that they had is they have a five or 10 year warranty where they will come out and re-stain the fence to keep it up to date. All we pay for is the stain and we don’t pay for any of the labor. I think they did all the work in two days or maybe two and a half. So, we were very happy with that. They were very knowledgeable, so they helped guide us through the experience of figuring out exactly what it was we wanted. Their workers were very professional. We didn’t have to be at the house. They took care of everything from removing the old fence and carting it off to making sure that everything was inside our property lines and nothing bothered our neighbors or anything like that.

Nate came out on 2/26 and provided me a quote for my deck and fence panels to clean and stain. He was on time, professional and courteous and provided me an estimate on the spot. They were a little cheaper than a previous quote I had obtained. After the fact my neighbor wanted some additional work done, and Nate was able to provide an updated quote in the next 2 days. He was very willing to work with us, and make all the changes we needed. He told me the job could probably be scheduled in the next couple of weeks. Bart called late the following week to advise me the job would start on 3/11 and he would be out to powerwash the fences. He showed up that day to clean the fences, and told me what would be done, and answered all the questions I had. He also noticed a few of the fence panels were loose and nailed them back in for me . He came back the next day to do the staining of fence panels and deck. I felt very lucky the weather cooperated : ) Everything looks great, and my neighbor is very pleased as well. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves and were done in a few hours. Very pleased!!!

THEY LEFT THINGS DONE AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING. i WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THEM AND IF I EVER NEED ANY FENCE WORK AGAIN I WILL CALL THEM.

When I called Texas Best Fence for a quote for a 39ft. wrought iron fence for my backyard I was told that they could not give a quote over the phone and instead needed to come out to give me a quote. I scheduled the next available appointment, which was for a week later. A representative was to come out to my house today between two and four, but instead I got a phone call thirty minutes into the time frame by someone at the company, After reading the notes they had for the job (the 39 feet and two gates) he decided to call and tell me that the job was too small for them. He said he would give me a quote but it would be more expensive because he would have to charge me for 50ft of wrought iron. Obviously, I was annoyed because I had to take a half day off from work to accommodate the appointment. He apologized, but again reiterated that the job was too small. When I mentioned that a review on the Angie's List site said they installed 20 ft of wrought iron for another customer, he could not give me an explanation as to why my job was too small, but the other customer's job (which was much smaller than mine) was not. In summary, waited a week for an appointment and took a 1/2 off of work only to receive a phone call saying that my job was too small for them to even warrant coming out to give me a quote like they were supposed to. Other review on this site said they did a job for a customer that for a job half the size of mine. Not consistent with their customers, and experienced poor customer service. WILL NOT recommend Texas Best Fence!

This job was done in two stages, a simple wood arbor (pergola) with plain finished cement slab. Nothing fancy. The pergola was installed and met all expectations and looks exceptionally good. The slab was done next and did not look as expected, they did not have enough concrete (1.75 yards) to make the pour, they put down what they had on the truck . It then took 3-4 hours for another batch of concrete to arrive to complete the pour and the job was finished in the dark. The next day we have a slab with two different colors. When we told them we were dissatisfied, they came to inspect the work and agreed that it was not aesthetically pleasing but that the cement was sound. We asked them for a solution for the poor appearance, and they suggested staining. They came back in a couple of days and applied a stain that only made the concrete appear worse. We contacted the company and again let them know we were dissatisfied. The owner contacted us, we discussed the matter, and he agreed to reduce the price for the job by roughly the amount it is going to cost us to finish the slab to our satisfaction. At this point, and at that resolution, we consider the job finished and the matter resolved.

The entire process went smooth. Jeff the sales guy helped me out in showing me alternatives, gave me a reasonable estimate. (Fences are not free). (Also I had several estimates from Angie's list fence contractors and TBF was very competitive) The installation crew was really good. They had several years of experience and did the job in about 3 days. I wish I knew their names as I would recommend that particular crew to anyone. Lots of compliments from the neighbors.

The initial visit went well, We went over the work I needed and they stated they would get back to me with the estimates. It was a couple weeks and never heard from them, I called multiple times and never received a call. It was very disappointing to come across a business that seemed to not value customer service or potential customers.

These guys are top notch, they provided all of the information up front along with their proof of insurance. How many contractors volunteer to show that to you? Jeff who was my sales consultant did a great job pricing out the work and providing my wife and I with all of the details about Texas Best Fence and their crews. We walked the property identifying what was to be done and it was all included in his proposal. Jeff was in constant communication with me as we were originally scheduled to start on Monday, February 24th, however due to the winter weather we had to push the date back to later in the week. The installation crew led by Alberto came out the week of February 24th to build the new fence. They were neat, very efficient and his crew worked well together. They not only built the new fence, they performed some repairs that were identified by myself and Jeff. Once the build was completed Alberto walked us through the project making sure that we were pleased. They cleaned up after themselves and it was like they were never here. Next was the power washing and staining. This was done by Bart, Bart Maverick as I called him (old guy joke). Bart was fantastic, he power washed my fence, did not leave a mess and explained what was going to happen the next day when the stain would be applied. The staining process was as easy and neat as the power washing and it all looks amazing. Jeff, Alberto and Bart are all professionals and they care a great deal about their customers and their happiness. I highly recommend Texas Best Fence.

The entire process went smoothly. The gentleman came out first to match the stain and returned as agreed to do the job. He returned a bit later for some touch up work. I would hire them again.

Texas Best Fence was fantastic! They came out three times to help me design my pool fence (because we had many factors playing into the design - cost, association approval, etc.). They were patient and helped me design the right layout to help protect my family.

Very responsive; I mentioned there was a toddler at the home who now didn't have a "restraint" to keep him off a six-lane road...they replaced fence the next day! I was very pleased with attitude of salesman and workers. Would definitely use them again!
