Other than the weather not cooperating in December, from scheduling and actual work performed, they did excellent job. The technician covered the patio well and use the water hose to make sure no stain go on the sidings / windows. He also nailed some lose pickets and wiped clean on the metal post and hardwares on the gate. Definitely recommended.

Working with Texas Best Fence was a wonderful experience! Andrea, my rep, was very responsive and answered the million questions that I had in a very polite and timely manner. All this work was done in four days, and my yard literally looks like a completely different space. I am so happy with the work that they did, I will absolutely recommend this company to friends and family. I haven't written many Angie's List reviews but this company stood out to me throughout all of my home renovations I have taken on this year. Their employees are very hard working, and got so much done each day. I am just so happy with this outcome, and I am so glad that I went with Texas Best Fence instead of the other companies that I received estimates from. I strongly recommend this company!

I like the quality of the work, the design and the materials. They were excellent with the categories and they're competitive to their customer service. I also like the punctuality that they would show up when they're supposed to and they worked hard. They also are completely on time.

Couldn't be happier. They were on time and on budget and the results are perfection.

Everything has good very well. The only interruption in the process was due to some weather related problems or pre-dated times that we had to travel. Excellent work, materials and scheduling. It was very good from start to finish. Mark was very professional and was very accommodating in everything that had to be done to get a permit. The crew was hard working and did a great job putting up the fence and cleaning up afterwards. Would highly recommend and would use Texas Best Fence again.

It took longer that they had estimated (by about 12 hours), but they kept us informed about everything. The actual work was absolute first rate. Beautiful fence. I plan to use them again.

They were by far the most affordable bid, and they had really good references. They came out and did exactly what they said they were going to do, and in the time that they said they were going to do it.

After receiving the initial visit on October 14th, 2014 from Colby and Adam of TBF, I received what I considered to be a reasonable quote for a significant amount of concrete + stonework, two pergulas and an outdoor kitchen on October 27th. Adam had some great ideas that I asked for some sketches that they offered to provide, on October 30th. On November 15th, after being promised earlier that I would have sketches the first week of November, I wrote to Colby and asked if they were still interested in the project. Colby indicated that they were, and I would hear from Adam that week. As of this writing on December 11, I have not heard anything further and TBF did not respond to an email sent to them last weekend on status. So I cannot recommend TBF and can't support the high ratings they have received on Angie's List which was a primary reason for me to engage with them. I would have been OK with a response saying they weren't interested in my project or providing me accurate commitment dates for a return response, but not delaying my project for several weeks with false promises. And this is just during a sales cycle, during which I lost all confidence in their credibility for doing what they said they would do. Super disappointed and moving onto another search for a company that meets the higher standards for service and performance I expected from TBF.

The gate is great. The crew hit the gas line and the firetruck came out. We had to spend another $800 to get the gas pipes fixed. Scheduling was fine.

It went great even though we could not use the company and spent the time explaining to me that the cost of the job would have defeated the cost of the small job as we just wanted to patch the walkway. So glad I did not do anything as I he city came down the street and redid the entire sewer line for the street. They had to dig up the grass and the sidewalk that we wanted repairs. The technician was so kid even though we were not able to do the job I wanted.

Colby and his crew were top notch. We got five price bids before starting work. He was most competitive and came the highest recommend (via Angie's List). He came over and provided some good consulting as there were areas to expand our entire back yard. He installed an electric gate along with a 7 foot beautiful fence. He also helped us move sprinkler heads and bushes to accommodate the new gate. He also came over after to personally make sure the job was done right. His crew was prompt and extremely efficient. From start to finish, the job only took about 2.5 days. Most other quotes said it would take at least a week. I highly recommend Colby and Texas Best Fence. We could not be more happy with the work. These guys are really good and worthy of the strong accolades on Angie's List, the reason I went with them in the first place.

Very, very happy with our new fence. It's a huge improvement over the fence we did have, and the look of the stained cedar really compliments our new pergola and adds some backyard "curb" appeal. I was very impressed when I met with Mark. The process used by Texas Best Fence seemed much more in line with what I had researched about staining cedar fences. The drying process they use to remove moisture prior to staining gives me confidence this fence will look good longer than those that are put up one day and stained soon after. The company handled getting the necessary permit from the city (Garland) and arranged the inspection (which they passed with no trouble). The steel fence posts were also sunk much further down than with our old fence, so I suspect we won't have nearly the problem with the fence shifting and leaning. The posts were also sheared off at the level with the top of the fence which makes for a much neater appearance. A couple of nice touches are the iron inset on our gate and the "house" outline that displays our street address number. Having an alley, it's important to have street numbers visible for first responders and guests. This is a nice touch. The decorative inset also makes for an attractive gate. Something else that went a long way to pointing me in their direction was the sensitivity shown to the pets we have here at our house. We foster and own senior dogs, so we really needed the one night that was the down time waiting for the concrete the posts were set in to dry to be as safe as possible for them. The crew erected a temporary fence that allowed them to be outside safely. I would highly recommend this company when you're looking to replace your fencing. They do a very good job at a very good price.

The technician was so considerate . He spent over an hour and a half explaining to me why he was unable to perform the service. I just wanted a very small job and he would be happy to help but the cost would out way what I wanted. I was so happy that I did not repair the small piece of the sidewalk cause the city redid the entire sewer system on the street and removed the piece of the side walk and the yard. Thank you for your time as you were unable to do what I wanted do to I wanted just a small section and would not go together as I did not want to spend the money to replace the entire walkway. Thank you for your time.

As of June 2, 2014 neither project was complete. The arbor was missing a base piece on one column and the concrete project was not complete according to the contract. The concrete work was subbed out and some of the work was deplorable. During the months no supervisor from Texas Best Fence came to oversee the project. After no response from voice maill messages and txt messages we sent a certified letter to the owner. Upon recipet he scheduled an evening to come to our property and view the work, and lack thereof on some issues. After that meeting it still took them a lengthy amount of time to actually complete and retify all issues. Overall the lack of customer service and professionalism was an insult.

They were very nice, efficient and orderly. When here they worked--no standing around. Very happy with the result! They have done several of my neighbors fences.

We met with Jeff at Texas Best and he was extremely professional. He was so nice and very easy to get a hold of. We had offers from other companies which were lower and he met those prices. We would have loved to work with Jeff but we decided to hold off on replacing the fence for now. We would definitely recommend this company to others based on their professionalism.

They contacted me promptly and sent out someone for an estimate. He showed up on time and quickly provided a written estimate detailing all work to be done. They did not gloss over the fact that they were booking work about 3weeks out this time of year. It did take about 3 weeks for them to get out but when they set the date they were there and the work was completed in the time frame they quoted, 2 days. I am very happy with the work done and will use them again when needed.

The team that came to my house did not understand what was going to be done, or the quoted time frame. They were looking to take shortcuts. The team had no communication with salesman The team was understaffed and did not have the proper equipment to get the job done. Endless complaining ans sloppy work was my lasting memory. Electric wires were buried under cement. Puddles of cement were all over my lawn. Low points on my new patio collect water. They charged my credit card $300.00 over the full amount of the job (contracted price) when the original contract was to be 1/2 cash 1/2 credit. Not professional in the least.

Great service, fair price, on schedule. It doesn't get any better than that. Took down old fence and removed timbers from old retaining wall that was failing. Crew was on-time and worked hard. Sales rep was very helpful and responsive to our needs. Replaced old retaining wall and built new fence in 5 working days. Cleanup was through and done promptly. These guys are truly the BEST fence company. Recommend them highly and would use again.

I am satisfied with the way the project went. They took down and hauled away all the debris from the old patio cover and installed the new one with no problems for us. The clean up was spectacular -- no complaints. They did everything the sales team promised to using our current cutter with modifications and replacing a small bricked area that held one of the posts.
