Had a little trouble connecting with Mr Barnett mostly due to the New Year initially. Thereafter, the office was very responsive, and we are pleased with the experience and the workmanship

They arrived on time to provide an estimate, made a reasonable offer. I felt no sales pressure, unlike others who had provided an estimate before them. Work took a few days to complete, have not had any problems out of it since then.

The overall process went smooth from the beginning. The service techs that installed the outdoor patio were very professional. Arturo & Marco did an amazing job on the stone work for the kitchen. Very Satisfied with the finished product! Colby & Texas Best Fence gave us a great product and best customer service.

It has been 10 years since we moved into our house. We needed a new fence desperately. The good ole’ spruce fence was looking dilapidated. We were ready to move quickly with this transaction with the right vendor. I contacted 6 vendors for a free estimate from different channels. Two of the six free estimates I received from the highest reputable fencing contractors on Angie’s list. Initially, I reached out to Texas Best Fence inquiring about a coupon deal. The deal stated "Amount can be applied toward upgraded size or length of fence from the service provider." Immediately, I received a reply message, “If you can send me a good phone number to reach you at I will be more than happy to schedule you for a free estimate appointment.” I called their office to schedule an appointment. The representative said she would ensure the coupon was noted for the sales rep to give me the best deal possible. A few days later, the sales rep came to my house. While he measured the fence, he provided me with an iPad to scroll through their work photo gallery. After he completed his measurements, we discussed the type of fence I would like to have erected. Then he provided the estimate. Wowza! Did I see the estimated amount correctly? Almost a whopping $3K higher from all the other 5 estimates. Let me tell you, I felt there was some bait and switch tactic going on to lure me into scheduling the appointment. Initially in my dialogue with the sales rep, I explained a variety of lower end options. Then we went into higher end options. Everything that was supposedly free like the step cut was of course baked into the final estimate. Also, the coupon I had initially inquired was “$3,700 for 120 linear feet of side-by-side pre-stained cedar fence installation deal.” I had needed only an extra 50 linear feet. I didn’t realize that it would be cost that much more for the extra. Be aware their pricing is high. I understand there are other fencing contractors that would have higher pricing. There was a lack of communication and semi-professionalism. In fairness, I didn’t select them as my contractor therefore giving them a B overall.

It took multiple calls to achieve this and timing was critical. Once they did come, no one notified us. We only knew because the day before closing we checked the gates Then I never recieved a bill but I did get a threatening letter asking for immediate payment. I am not sure what has changed at this company since we hire them to do our fence initially 4 years ago. I am sorry I recommended them to the new buyers. We are no longer in Texas, so fortunately no need to hire them again. You can not pay online by the way, only by check or a charge to use a credit card. Inconvenient in this day and age.

We are so proud of the stain and repair that was done at 518 country lane, Coppell. We felt it important in helping us to sell our house and it looks fantastic. It wasn't the least expensive bid, but the quality of work made us proud to show our backyard, important for a creek property! The office, the explanation of the process/quote and execution, flawless. Thanks Colby, Jay and team. We got our price!! We highly recommend.

Excellent! Andrea, our sales person, came out the next day after I called for an estimate. She was able to give me an estimate on site. She also came back to program our car and setup our phones!

I can't be more impressed with the workmanship, quality, quickness, attention to detail that Texas Best Fence team has done. They have built our dream rustic oasis in our back yard. We wanted a Rustic western look with wood and stain accents. I could not have dreamed that it would have looked this good. They over exceeded my expectations. Job was done fantastic. Everyday the team cleaned up, swept up, and kept a construction site in order. This impressed my wife and I both. The owner kept in constant contact with me over scheduling along with his office staff would call to let us know the next scheduled day that they would be out to work and what work would be done on that day, for instance the electrician who was installing the fans and lights called the previous week to let us know what day and approx. time his crew would arrive. EXCELLENT JOB all around... We can HIGHLY recommend Texas Best Fence for any projects dealing with patio, patio covers, fence repair. Thanks again for a Great Job

Called but never received call back.

They took down my old fence and built a gorgeous new fence for me, all in two days! The whole thing was done in only two days! We love our new fence and couldn't be happier! They also did some landscaping work as a part of the job at no additional cost!

I had them install two new fences and both went flawlessly. The quality of work is very high. These guys are very professional and easy to work with.

TBF does incredible work. Jeff, our sales construction consultant was extremely easy to deal with. He made some nice suggestions to the plans I had made that made the whole project come together. TBF stands by their product and they truly are not happy unless you are happy. For instance, the initial patio cover was half constructed when my wife and I decided it was just too low of a roof line and would block out too much light into our house. TBF completely tore down all the previous days work and materials and started over at their own expense! The master carpenter doing the patio and awning work was a highly skilled craftsman. The finished product is as good as I've seen any where. It really is. My wife and I could not be happier with the whole job done. It did take longer than we would have liked because the crews are busy. That was only because the demand for these guys is so high that they have a lot of jobs underway. But once the teams arrived the work went smoothly and they did accommodate around our busy schedules to be sure we were not inconvenienced. So start your planning early. All in all, you can't go wrong choosing TBF. They will not be the cheapest. But you get what you pay for, and when it comes to resale and the enjoyment of the patio and backyard, make the right choice. You won't be disappointed.

The entire process from beginning to end was exceptional based on my experiences with other multiple vendors in the Dallas metroplex. Jeff Richards and his team had to make some corrections with the install which were handled promptly, professionally and accurately. Customer Service and work integrity are not so common these days, especially with my personal experiences this past year utilizing: landscapers, roofers, pool cleaners, electricians, carpet cleaners, HVAC vendors, and plumbers in making home improvements. The fence product also exceeded my expectations; the workmanship and aesthetics were obvious as compared to the variations seen in my neighborhood. I've had 4 different home improvement vendors as mentioned above who commented on how good the fence looked and inquired which company had installed it. I also appreciated that fact the Jeff did not oversell the product and he took the time to explain the quote/work expectations which helped ease my decision. It was also a pleasure working with Aly (admin office), who fielded the fence install and return visits for revisions. I am a stickler for service and professionalism which we place as a top priority in my service oriented company, I am very comfortable recommending Jeff and Texas Best Fence.

Andrea was the most professional from the estimate through the finish.

The person that came out for an estimate of removing my old chain link fence and replacing it with a new wooden fence. The estimator never measured for the fences dimensions and really did not want to be flexible with the requests I had for the fence. After messaging the estimator about not receiving my estimate I had to call the company asking if I would ever see it. Was told it would come that day and never did. Called again the next day and told them it was their last chance to get it to me, never saw it.

They did excellent work. It was repaired quickly. They did a very good job. The price was reasonable. The quality was excellent. Their responsiveness was very good. They were on time, worked hard. They were diligent in solving the problem and they were able to problem solve because it wasn't a simple thing that they could just put in a battery. They really had to work to find it and they stayed with it.

Our project manager was excellent! All work was performed on time over the course of two months. We were kept informed and up to date through out the process. The teams that built the arbor and layer the concrete were fantastic. The project turned out just how I wanted and better than I could have hoped.

Highly recommend, prompt, courteous. Good value, a little pricey, but well worth it.

Executed a contract with TBF, they tore down the shared section of fencing with our neighbor and exposed our pool. Then no activity on the fence for several weeks. When they came to start the new fence, we were informed that TBF would not trim out the existing fence to match the work they were doing (which was part of the contract). Keep in mind they have already removed a 90+ foot section of my fence. The Project Manager would not return calls, texts, or emails... even when she would come on site and talk to the neighbor, she wouldn't not knock on our door to talk over the issue. In the end, TBF forced us into a new contract (the choice was new contract or we'll leave you with no fence) and we had to pay their crew directly to do the work they had originally promised to do. When work was finished, they never called, emailed, texted, or stopped by to make sure we had not experienced more issues. To top things off, when the invoice came in they overbilled us by $400 and wouldn't respond to messages asking for a corrected invoice. It took them 2 months to finally send a corrected invoice.

I was very pleased with the Owner when he came to measure. Unlike three other fence people who seemed to be very slow to react, can't understand why you need a second quote, or just plain incompetent immediately endeared me to him. He let me pay via credit card w/o having a convenience fee for both the deposit and final payment (others demanded 3% more). His crew was attentive and did exactly what they would say they would. The owner offered to come back within 5 years to fix any dissatisfaction with the fence. At the last minute, I decided to reduce a certain part of the fence from 24 to 15 feet and he prorated the amount (that was great). I highly recommend this company because after three bad starts, it was good to meet a professional company.

This was one of the best contractors my husband and I have ever worked with, and we've worked with a lot of them. They took only two days to tear down the old fence and build the new one. The final product was gorgeous, and the workmanship was top-notch. Andrea was an excellent representative, and Arturo and his crew were some of the most capable and professional craftsmen I've ever seen. Highly recommended!
