MRZ Contracting is a family owned custom, design/build firm specializing in outdoor living environments, project management and landscape master plan design and installation. Our horticultural philosophy is to achieve the most beautiful, functional and enduring environment with as low maintenance as possible. This process begins with the initial client consultation and property inspection. These considerations are then applied to the design process which is produced in 3-D CAD. We believe in providing the client with a beautiful yard by selecting plants with different growth characteristics, foliage variations/colors/flowering periods and accents like moss boulders and mortared stone borders. The benefit of all this is a “living, breathing, ever-changing environment” with natural beauty. The best part is… you can see how it will look at maturity with the viewpoints and video produced by our CAD program. If this approach to “yard creation” interests you, give us a call. Services we don't offer

Because we focus mostly on a full package project, we do not normally hire out to install a single service such as: sod, fences, gutters, grading, drainage issues or irrigation renovation/repair. We do, however, offer these services within the scope of a full package project.

Description of Work: I scheduled an evaluation for an outdoor kitchen. Clayton Zachary arrived on time as scheduled and we went over what we wanted to accomplish and several potential options. Our lot is a corner lot and we knew that the build distances might be a problem. After thoroughly discussing our goals, Clayton said step one was to determine what restrictions if any would impede progress. They contacted the city planning and checked on building restrictions and it was determined that we really could not build the structure that we wanted to build without potential resale issues down the road. So I got exactly what I wanted from Mr. Z - an evaluation of the feasibility of the project and if we had been able to more forward I am certain Clayton Zachary would have done a great job for us. They are straightforward and honest even if it is to their detriment.
