She was very curt. It was not a pleasant experience.

They started out with a higher estimate, but ended up lowering it. They removed the stump and removed the tree entirely. The crew worked about 5-6 hours one afternoon and then they came back for the stump. I didn't have any real complaints about this work. They did a nice clean job and did what they said they would do.

The telephone receptionist said she would pass our information on to a salesman, who would call to schedule an evaluation. We NEVER had a single return phone call from the company. Next day, an estimator arrived and gave us a price quote. Had we not been at home, he would not have had access to our back yard, because we have a swimming pool and we keep front and back gates locked. The front gate is wired shut as an added precaution. He thought his crew would be available in the next day or two to do the work. They showed up early the next morning, again with no phone call to schedule. We asked them NOT to use the front gate. The back gate offered direct access to the trees to be trimmed. They did a beautiful job of trimming all the trees and clean-up was exceptionally thorough. We are very satisfied with the work. However, they cut the wires on the front gate and left it open when they finished. Unfortunately, our dog discovered it before we did.

Went fairly well. Initially, we called to have the tree trimmed and mistletoe removed, as well as the red tips trimmed. This was estimated at $450. After the men started working on the Elm tree, they called the boss, who told us that (as we had feared) the tree was dying. We opted to have the tree removed. Even though his 4 men had already worked for 3 hours on the tree, he did not charged us for that work. The rest of job went smoothly. They were neat and tidy, cleaned up well.

WOW, I am impressed! I scheduled an estimate with a very efficient office. I was called the next day and a very nice arborist/estimator came out within forty-five minutes. He was very clean, nicely dressed and knowledgeable on top of being honest! The old tree had to come down or eventually split and do damage to my house. I did not want to lose the tree, but upon further pointing to the evident splits, the old tree had reached its max life of twenty years. He said they were a little backed up because of the storms and it could be done next week. This was yesterday. I was out of the house for less than two hours today, came home and the work was done! You would NEVER know anyone was here! No debris of any kind, except a couple of leaves and some fresh shavings from the tree!I kid you not, you could have pushed me over with a feather! That tree was HUGE!!! I'm still stunned!! I am so happy!

It took a couple of phone calls to hear back from Matt, but he was always courteous on the phone and an added bonus is that he will come out to give estimates on a Saturday. Matt arrived early and took his time giving his suggestions on what we needed to do. He quoted us $700 for quite a bit of work: removal of 3 small/medium trees and a few bushes, trimming of 8 small/medium trees and stump grinding on 2 of the removed trees (the 3rd was inaccessible by his stump grinder). Matt supervises all work that is done. The price quoted is really low compared to others, but we ultimately decided on another company, which was more expensive but their work is supervised by a certified arborist and they would be able to grind the 3rd stump. We reluctantly turned down Matt for these reasons but would not hesitate to hire him for maintaining the work that the other company performs on our trees. We have recommended him to family and friends already.

Excellent customer service. Prompt. Very affordable. I called on a Monday at 5:15 pm, and Matthew still answered my call, even after the normal business hours. He told me that someone would be out the next day to survey the work, and to provide me with an estimate. As promised, someone was out the next day and provided a very affordable estimate. (Note: I contacted two other local competitors, one took a day and a half to return my call, and the other has yet to follow-up.) The tree removal was scheduled for the next day (Wednesday). I called from work Wednesday at 12:00 pm to see when they'd come to take down the tree, and they had already removed the tree and all of the debris. There was not one branch left in the yard ... just a nice pile of fresh mulch. While raking out the lawn a few days later, there were still a few large roots that radiated out from the "stump". They came out the next day to grind the remaining roots at no additional cost!

They worked very quickly. They cleaned very well, there was nothing left behind. There was great communication, and a good crew working on the job. We plan on using them later on this year.

My experience with Golden Tree and it's rep. Matt were perfect. Matt was out giving an estimate within two hours of the time I called the company. The work was performed two days later. They were ready to do the work the next day, but I wasn't. The three man crew worked for 4 hours to complete the task. The amount charged was very reasonable. The crew was prompt and efficient. They did good work. They cleaned up after themselves. I have only good things to say about the company, and I don't say that very often about ANY company.

Golden Tree Maintenance was very efficient. They came on one day to trim the trees and removed all the branches. They returned 2 days later to grind the stumps. I was very pleased with their work and especially their price. Most companies quoted me $4 per inch to grind the stumps I had. Due to the size of the stumps, the cost alone would have cost me well over $200 at this rate, NOT including all the tree trimming. Golden Tree gave me a flat rate to remove all 4 stumps, plus the extra stump created by the removal of the tree. Now I don't have to worry about walking in my yard and tripping on the stumps or worry that the lawn mower blade will be damaged.
