GREAT...got home from work garage door did nor respond to signal from opener. In car or in garage. Called Genie Sales and Service Co. Gary came out same night and did the work. Price was great. He was very helpful and we will now be using his company rather than the one we had used before.

Cory arrived on time, introduced himself and asked for directions to the broken door. After discussing options, he went right to work. Great customer service and a great experience.

Overall, the experience went very well. The garage door opener was expensive, but we purchased the quietest one that they had. The techinican arrived in a timely manner and was very knowledgable. They did what they said they would do, and I am satsified with their services.

Gary gave me a verbal estimate on a new door of $785, and said he would be back Monday morning around 8:30. He arrived on time, got to work immediately, and had the new door installed by 10:00. The quality of the work was excellent, as was the service and professionism exhibited throughout the process. I would highly recommend Genie Sales and Service to everyone in need of their services. Called in the morning, rec'd quote over the telephone, set appointment for that afternoon, arrived 1 minute early, did an excellent job and paid quoted price. Outstanding service.

They were great. They were honest, didn't try to find other problems and they fixed the problem that needed to be fixed. They explained exactly what was happening with the garage doors and how they have been designed to fail on purpose. He said the manufacturers did that and now all you can do is just fix the part. I would recommend them to anyone, they did a great job.

They were able to schedule the work the same day I called. Showed up on time (actually tried to come earlier but I wasn't home yet) and fixed the broken door. Replaced the hinge that was ripped out of the door and put the little wheel back on the track. Cleaned and oiled both doors. Very friendly and explained in detail what was done, and what can be expected/what to look out for in the near future.

Garage door had been noisy and very erratic opening and closing. It became worse when my teenager pulled the release rope as he was falling off his skateboard, causing the door to slam closed. After I tinkered with it, it worked, but you could hear it opening and closing from the next block over. It finally quit working as I was leaving for a business trip. As I was calling my customer to postpone our meeting, my wife started checking Angie's List. We located Genie Sales and Service in Lewisville, noticed the numerous positive ratings and the fact they have been in business since the '50s. They promised to be out by noon. Cory arrived about 11:00am and quickly diagnosed the problem (broken springs.... the big ones that look like they'd kill you, if you didn't know what you were doing). He replaced them, and made a quick trip back to their shop for the part of the opener that had broken. All total, about 2 -3 hours of time, total bill was less than I expected. Cory was very professional and polite. He and his dad run the business and do the work. I'd recommend them anytime.

I called on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and got an appointment for repair the next morning at 8:00 a.m. I liked the young man who performed the repairs. He was very professional, effiecient and had some really good advice on how to keep my garage door and opener in good shape.

Beginning with the initial phone call, service was scheduled at my convenience and price quoted upfront. On day of appointment, Gary was very prompt, courteous and got right to work and finished quickly. Definitely recommend.

He did a very good job. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. It was the owner of the business that came. He came out very, very quickly. It took him very little time to complete what he was doing and he gave me some options on what I could do. I finally ended up doing the least costly on what he had said was a possibly for me. He could have changed the motor if I had wanted. He did a very good job on what he did and it works great. I have already recommended him.

I called Genie Sales and Service the afternoon of February 11th when our garage door buckled the second time and was unable to close the garge door. I was told by Gary Fincher that he would be out in the morning and to my surprise he was at our door the next morning even with history record setting snow fall for the DFW area. The door was unable to be repaired and had to be replaced. Gary made us such a great deal we went ahead and replaced our second door. Gary and Cory did excellent work and were very satisfied. I have to say it was the best work we have experienced in a long time. .

Contacted Genie Sales at 12:30pm, came out to repair spring on our door by 3pm! Cory the tech was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and went above and beyond. Spring was repaired, he took a look at our other door and inspected it as well. Only addition to service was recommendation of new wheels- best $60 spent, the wheels make door sound new again!! Superb service, would call again and recommend to all!

In about 45 minutes Gary replaced the snapped spring and also did the needful preventive maintenance. We are very happy with the quality of his work and the overall service.

Fantastic! I am so pleased with the result. I called at 9:00 a.m. to see if they might be able to come over that day and he said he could that it would be between 10-12 when he got there. Got there right around 10 and finished with what I originally wanted (the obnoxious noise to stop when I opened the door) in about 30-45 minutes. I came out and it was so wonderful that I asked him about doing the seal on the door. Because my door was older, he didn't have one so he left, got one and came back and in another 20 minutes he was done. Cory was my technician and he was super friendly, fast and professional. Would definitely recommend!!!!

My garage door spring broke on Wednesday night. I called Gary early Thursday morning and he had a tech out before noon. He replaced the springs, lubed everything and even replaced one of the lightbulbs that had been out for a while.

Outstanding: Called Gary at 0730 and got him...he was already at work. Set up an emergency appointment between 1200 and 1400...Gary arrived at 1210...Prompt and Responsive!!! Gary diagnosed the problem, replaced the spring and rollers, and serviced the door in about 45 minutes...quick...he knows his stuff about garage doors. I really don't know about his price, as I didn't get any other quotes...Gary had been previously recommended to me, and I had used him before. My door was broken, and I needed it fixed ASAP...Gary did just that, and I feel what I paid him was fair. Finally, Gary is one of the most polite and friendly servicemen I've hired in some time. He thanked me for the business, and even stayed for a little small talk after he finished. No, Thank You, Gary!!! I wholeheartedly recommend Gary and Genie Sales and Service for garage door repair and replacement in the Lewisville area!!!

The technician (Cory) arrived right on time - I was late returning home and he waited for me. He was a clean-cut young man that was dressed neatly and was very polite and professional. He explained what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost. He replaced all of the rollers on a 16 x 7 wood door, oiled the door opener, the springs and the rollers. He was finished in approximately 30 minutes and gave me a very neat and thorough invoice.

I called because one of my garage doors was bent in the middle causing it to malfunction in the operation. Both of the door's outside panel didn't work. Well when he came he was already parked in the back. He went right to work showing me that the reason the door was bent was because the door had a major crack in the center. Expecting to need a new door, I watched him get a brace out of his truck and start to work. In ten minutes he had mounted the new brace and lubed the door. I told him about the electronic panels not working. He fixed and recalculated the one, but the wiring was bad on the other. Minutes later the other door's wiring was fixed, recalculated, lubed and working like a charm. I had him check all four remotes. He got them all working and took no longer than 45 minutes. This guy was quick and efficient. ALSO I overheard him speaking to a caller who was trying to fix the door himselt, my guy gave him time on two phone calls, instructions on telling him what to try to fix it himself, before the 3rd call when he made an appointment to come out.

My garage door was not opening and I thought it was the door off track. He took the initial call from his car and said he would call back shortly. It took longer than I expected to get a call back but he arrived within a reasonable length of time after that. When he arrived it took him less than 10 minutes to figure out the infrared sensors (safety feature) were not aligned properly because the former owner of the house had not installed them correctly. He said the normal service call minimum was $70 but he was only charging us $20. I certainly didn't argue and will call him again if there is a need.

Owner answered the call, scheduled for later the same day, arrived a little early, and by being able to fix the existing unit turned what I expected to be a $350-$400 visit into a $100 visit.

Cory was our technician and he was wonderful. He was very informative with the utmost professionalism. He came on a Friday, did not have the replacement unit and would return Saturday. they did not have one in the shop but got one early Monday morning and was at our house when he said he would be there.. Job completed.

I called to check on price and availability for service. Tech was here in less than an hour and finished the job is as much time. Good job, very professional.

I was very happy with the service I received from Genie. I called for an appointment and they arrived the next day at precisely the time that was arranged. They did an excellent job in repairing both of my broken doors. Not only does each door work well now, but they are substantially quieter. Genie's service was courteous and a helpful.

Called on a Saturday afternoon and came right out. Even though it was time to close up shop, he stopped by on his way home. He was local and could come out right away so we went with him.
