We were very pleased with the service. The owner, Gary Fincher, scheduled a repair time that fit our schedule. He was on time, professional, and knowledgeable. He repaired the door quickly and for a very reasonable price. The door is old & he made some suggestions on what will probably be needed next.

Well enough. He came exactly when he said he would, and had the job done in about 30 min.

Very well --- the young man was prompt, personable, very polite and patient with my questions. I wish I could remember the service techs name as I would recommend the company and the service tech to my friends and neighbors in Lewisville

Cory came out to my house and diagnosed the problem with my 13 year old Geni. Problem was with the motor. Either it was burned out or another mechanism within it was broken. Previously had a garage door repairman to my home for same reason so I was familiar with the situation. Long story short, not repairable, needed to be replaced. He was able to give me a quote on a couple of new openers and listed my options. He could install a new one that his company sells or he could install one I could buy at Home Depot or Lowes. My choice. While the previous Geni I bought at Home Depot had lasted this long, I felt it better to use one of the Geni units his company sells for reasons I will not go into detail here. We were able to arrange a time and agreed on model that he would deliver and install two days later. Two days later he showed up on time and installed the unit. From a previous conversation he made adjustments to the door that made it function better for my home. The garage door works much better and is a lot quieter than before. Big thanks to Cory and his fine work. I highly recommend him and his business for your garage door repair.

I called on Thursday morning and left a message. I received a call back within a couple of hours. Cory came out that afternoon, and diagnosed the coupler that had been stripped and ordered the replacement part, and gave me an estimate of the next afternoon to come and complete the repair. I received a call around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon to let me know that they still had not received the replacement part, and was told they would be out the next morning. I received a call Saturday, right after 10, letting me know that he was on his way. He had the door repaired and back up in running in about 30 minutes. Fantastic job.

He was very responsive. I called at opening time on Saturday and left a message. He returned the call within 10 minutes and set up a time to come to the house within my schedule. He showed up on time and finished the work very quickly. Very professional service, which I will use again.

It's a father and son team. I called him at around 5.30am and he said he would be here right up. He's awesome! He's very prompt, extremely courteous and doesn't try to sell sell us things that we don't need. He comes out, sees the problem and fixes it. That's all. He's also made some adjustments and hasn't charged us for it.

A bit late in getting this review done but wanted to make sure I got it in. I cannot say enough good things about this company. From the first moment I contacted Cory it was a great experience. Great communication, answered many questions, amazing job and price. Cory even programmed my car remote. I will never use anyone else. Use them, you will not be disappointed!!!!

These guys are GREAT. Arrived exactly on time, Cory was fantastic, went above and beyond what I expected, fixed the opener then stapled the wires that had come loose as lubed the door. Best service I have ever had on a garage door.

He came immediately. He was very professional. He earned my confidence and I will use this service again.

He did not try to sell me stuff that I didn't need. Very polite and professional. The door works fine. I will definitely use them again.

Cory came out to us within an hour of calling. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and ordered the parts required. The parts got held up on the truck which was coming from the manufacturer of Genie parts in Ohio where they had just experienced a very bad snow storm, so...we had to wait a couple of days to get the parts and get them fitted. However, Cory kept us informed of the situation every day, and he was true to his word and came out to fit the parts as soon as he received them. Cory was very courteous, he did a great job and we are very pleased with the service we received. I can highly recommend this company if you have garage door problems.

My husband and I are extremely happy with the way the service call went. I called this morning and they were out here within an hour. You can not ask for more than that. Gary was professional and very efficient. I would recommend him in a heart beat. I just wish that I knew about him earlier. I would have called them for other issues with my garage door opener.

If you are cruising this site looking for someone to install or repair garage doors - GO NO FURTHER. Gary at Genie Sales and Service is your man. I called Garys' number found here on Angies' List around Noon yesterday and by 1:00 or so he was on the scene. My garage door had begun coming off the track and - with the assistance of the electric garage door opener - dismantling itself. Gary quickly identified the problem. He straightened what bent, replaced a weakened component, put on a new roller, adjusted the spring, adjusted the tracks, lubricated the whole thing and even figured out hot how to program the remote in my truck for the opener (I had tried for hours) - and all in about an hour and change. The price was more than fair, and my garage door is working better than it has in years. Gary is a true professional. I gather from our discussion his father started the business, and has retired - but now Gary and his son Cory are at the wheel. It is clear Gary is proud of his work; I believe Gary's dad could be nothing but proud of the job they are doing. So - if you are in the market for garage door help, call Gary.

Our garage door opener stopped working on a Sunday morning. After doing some research, it appeared that the opener was not the problem, but rather the springs or balance on the door. I emailed the company on Sunday and they responded mid-day Sunday to indicate they would call me Monday. They called first thing Monday and were able to stop by the same day. The springs were replaced and the door was working properly before I got home from work. Very easy process and great service.

Gary is an honest and competent person. Another company wanted to replace my 5 year old garage opener for $665.00. Called Gary and he thought he could fix it, not replace it. He came by and did a great job. He would not accept payment until a few days passed. He wanted to make sure it was fixed to our satisfaction. Gary's manners are impeccable and he is truly a pleasure to have in your home. You can not go wrong with Gary at Genie. Side note: I have used Genie in the past with great results. I misplaced his number and had another service come by.

Kevin arrived quickly even though they thought it was going to be a couple of hours later. He was courteous and took one look at what the door was doing and went straight to the problem. He pulled out the broken part and showed it to me. He thought he might have the replacement part on his truck but did not. He immediately went back to his shop, got the part, came back and was done in under a half hour. He gave me a tip on when to oil it again to keep it working smoothly. He was honest with me when I asked if it was time to replace the motor. He told me it was not necessary that it was not through its life expectancy. I really appreciated that.!! Overall, he did a great job and I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to anyone that needed an honest person to tell them what they really need.

Arrived on time, performed services quickly and completely, cleaned up traces of having been there, charged appropriately (surprised it wasn't more). Is also getting me a repeater for free, so my Chev 2500HD will work with my garage door opener, in addition to my Toyota. All in all, a perfect professional install. Do NOT go anywhere else. Gary and his son were perfect. Your great contractor experience starts here!

The service was excellect. I contacted Mr Fincher and he made a appointment to come out the same day. He did an assessment, gave me a quote. When he offered to handle it today, I was grateful, since I had put off getting it fixed for over a year. He went to work, replaced parts, made adjustments as required. It works great. He made my day!!

These guys were fantastic! We needed a garage door and opener since our opener went bad and the garage door broke. Cory stopped by and provided a quote. He didn't try to upsell us. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. In fact, he came by later in the day and installed a garage door lock for free on our old garage door for security. We schedule a date and time to replace the opener and garage door and they were on time. The new garage door and opener were installed professionally. Cory spent time to inform us on how to use the garage door opener and the features. We love our garage door and opener. We were surprised how quiet it is. Being a self proclaimed handyman, I had already purchased the springs, and was preparing to do the spring repair myself. That is until my wife over-heard the installation video talking about how incredibly dangerous the repair is, how Home Depot and Lowes stopped selling the springs in stores because of liability concerns, and so on. So she stepped in, and ordered me to find a professional to do the work. I contacted Genie, and had an appointment scheduled for the next morning. He was there right on time, performed the work quickly and safely, and left the door in better shape than before the failure. I would highly recommend this company. They are very professional and had better pricing than I had received from Home Depot and a few other companies.

I had issues with the sensors on my garage door. I'm pretty handy and tried troubleshooting the issue myself with no luck. Had no choice but to call and have them come out. When I called Gary said he would be happy to come out but believed it was something I could fix myself and walked me through a couple of check points. Sure enough it worked like a charm and I'm back online. Saved me a $85 service call.
