Cory showed up promptly and ready to work! We were amazed at how professional and quickly this young man was able to accomplish the work that was to be done. He replaced the garage door spring, adjusted some parts and made sure everything was in working order. They are truly are an expert in the garage door industry! Mr. Fincher arrived at exactly the promised time and removed the old opener and put in the new opener. It was obvious this wasn't his first rodeo. He had the new opener up and running in less than 45 minutes. Every step of the installation was done quickly and accurately. He thoroughly explained the new system and cleaned up his mess. I will definitely use this business again if the need arises.

ANOTHER GREAT EXPERIENCE with Genie Sales and Service this week! This time we had to go beyond the routine maintenance, to a full replacement of the opener and remotes, including synching with an uncooperative electric gate. Despite the obstacles and the cold weather, Cory kept a smile on his face and delivered a super quiet opener and better remotes! What a deal!

I have just bought a new house which has a Genie garage door opener that was not working and had no remotes for it. I called Gary and was so surprised, though grateful, that he was able to come out the same day! Gary arrived just a couple of hours later and went right to work. Not only was he able to fix the garage door opener, he serviced the door itself, provided two new remotes, programed a new code for the opener and remotes, and gave me good recommendations on the life expectancy of the garage door and opener and approximate replacement costs. Gary also went over how to operate the Genie and what to look for and do if the door doesn't open. He was very courteous and respectful and I will absolutely go to him when it's time to replace the door and opener. Thank you Gary!

I was having trouble with my garage doors jamming for a 3 car garage (a double door and a single door) and I called Genie Sales and Service to check them out. They were on time and showed up exactly when they said they would. After inspecting the doors, they advised what needed to be done and offered several options from simply fixiing the problem to replacing some parts so that it would improve their operation. They also adjusted some items they discovered while working on the doors and did not charge me any extra. I am very pleased with the quality of their work and reasonableness of their rates.

Would recommend very highly. Removed non-functioning garage door opener and installed anew Genie opener. Kept me informed on their arrival time and arrived as expected. Very neat removing old opener and debris. Reprogrammed new and existing remote controls from old opener. They ensured everything was functioning correctly before they left.

Cory came by early Tuesday (18th) and quickly diagnosed the problem. He suggested three remedies in detail including approximate costs and asked which met my needs/budget. He then said he would get the needed part and return later in the afternoon. He came as promised, performed the replacement of the faulty control board and other general service, and made sure the door worked properly. He then reset two remote controls and set the one in my vehicle. He was pleasant, professional, and thorough. My garage door works perfectly now. I am very pleased with the service and the price.

Top to bottom, Cory inspected the system and put everything in sync. Door operation is quieter, smoother and working well. I would recommend this company and will use them again if when I need this type of service.

Fantastic! Couldn't believe fast response on a weekend!

I called Gary because our garage door opener had stopped working. He was the second technician I called (first from this company, of course) and the first person to actually attempt to explain the issue and talk about our options. He was much friendlier than the previous company we were dealing with. We discussed the issue in detail over the phone and Gary guessed the problem, but came out the next morning to take a look. His initial guess was correct, though I'm not sure I can remember it well enough to describe. Long story short, I think something messed up with the screw drive connection on our 1985 garage door opener. It came down to a couple hundred to replace the part on an already old unit or approx $450 to replace the entire unit and replace the seal on the bottom of the door, which had worn away. We opted to replace the entire unit with the one Gary suggested, a Genie IntelliG 1000 Belt Drive Unit. He also adjusted the springs for us and replaced the seal at the bottom of the garage door as mentioned above. Other companies were charging about a hundred bucks extra for the maintenance that he included with the install. We were very happy with the service and would use this company again.

I couldn't be more impressed or happy with the service I received. This is a family-owned and operated business and lived up to the ratings on angies list as well as the expectations of a family-run business. Corey Fincher came to my home the same day I called. He responded to all of my questions in a knowledgable, professional and friendly fashion. He provided a quote for the services with no upsell tactics at all. In fact, my springs are a bit older and I asked about them. A perfect opportunity to upsell springs and yet Corey informed me that the springs still have life in them and that they didn't need replacing right now. I can't say other companies would be able to advise honestly and resist the urge to sell something that doesn't need to be replaced. The next day he arrived on time and also called me before arriving. The work was completed right on schedule and the quality was absolutely fantastic. The price was just as quoted and also included the angies list discount as I mentioned I had found him on angies list. Corey also informed me that if I needed anything in the future, or if any problems arise, I could contact him directly for service. If you're looking for professional installation, extremely reasonable prices and knowledgable people who believe in honest business, this is the company to contact. I won't hesitate to use them again in the future should I need any garage work done. I highly recommend contacting this company if you need garage work done.

We called Genie Sales and Service at 8:15 on Friday morning because a spring broke on our overhead garage door the night before. Their technician, Cory Fincher was there by noon that day. He quickly replaced the springs, tightened, lubricated and adjusted the rest of the door and opener and was gone in less than an hour. Cory is the grandson of the owner and is very personable. He did a great job and left us feeling safe and confident that the job was done correctly. He didn't try to sell us anything, but patiently answered all of our questions. He was knowledgeable, efficient, thorough and the price was right. I got his card so I could post it on our bulletin board at work. This is a family-owned and operated business who do a great job. My wife said it's so much quieter, it sounds like we got a new garage door opener. Genie also provided a $10 coupon on Angie's list.

They showed up on time, and performed only what I needed them to do. Cory did an excellent job and didn't try to sell me on all kinds of additional uneeded work. He was also very polite and friendly. I will definately be using them in the future for any garage door issues I may have.

Repair man showed up within 1 hour of calling. Identified the problem, replaced spring and lubed the rollers. Works like new! Very professional and would use them again.

We called Genie Sales and Service based on feedback in Angie's List. We were NOT disappointed. We needed two new garage doors and openers. The initial estimate was given over the phone and the work was scheduled for an agreed upon date within 3 business days of the original call. On the day of the work, Gary showed up at the house early and began the tear-down and removal of the existing doors and openers. Corey then arrived with the new equipment, and the job was completed before 1:00 PM. Corey gave us detailed instructions regarding the doors and their operation. My wife's car was in the shop at the time, so Corey offered to come back out on Saturday to program the garage door opener controls in her vehicle to the newly installed equipment. He showed up very quickly and completed this last step. His last words were the offer to help at any time wuith questions or problems as they arose. He left me with his cell phone number and the desire to tell everyone I know what a great team this is to work with.

Just as I see in most of the reports, These guys only want to sell you all new doors. No repairs.I was quoted $850 to replace boths sets of doors. I only need one panel to fix it.

Our technician arrived early in the morning on one of the hottest days of the year. He determine the exisiting opener was not operating properly and clearly explained our options. We decided to install two new openers. He then successfully wired the units to the garage door opener wall buttons, which was no easy task.
