They found that deck drain pipe was not connected and downspout drains were clogged with tree roots. This diagnosis required careful digging near pool filter equipment. They fixed the problem completely, and even restored the area by leveling and adding new gravel. This was a very complex fix where an amateur could have caused extensive damage to existing wires, pipes, and hoses. The technician (Rod) was a real professional (had prior experience with pool equipment), and was determined to fix this problem, which he did. It was a lot of money, but he made sure that I was informed and showed me what he found and what he did to repair it every step of the way.

I called the company this morning, got a same day visit, and all work was performed right away. The technician was very pleasant and answered all questions. We discussed the future replacement of our water heaters and different options. The faucets no longer leak and I don't hurt my wrists turning off the water, as I had done for many months!!

I would definitely recommend them. They were here right away when we needed them, the next day. There was a roof leak, and the emergency shut-off acted well. We didn't have any water leaking through the ceiling downstairs. They are very reliable.

Very prompt, courteous and professional. Offered to look at another issue I had in the house and gave me an estimate. I will be using them for this job also.

Great experience: Jason was friendly & thorough. Cost was reasonable, only $35 service fee to come out on a Sat with same day notice. Jason noticed 2 other possible issues & tightened 2 pieces that could have caused leak later. He also offered to answer any questions we have about other plumbing concerns in house- his advice was knowledgeable & not pushy, but we will call again when we are ready to remedy some other issues. Also like that business is family owned & technician speaks highly of his employers.

We have a Culligan water heater that was hooked up to the swimming pool drainage. When we had a problem with the pool equipment, we discovered this. We had no luck with the pool tech or Culligan fixing the problem. But C&W sent out a plumber that told us exactly what happened, told us how to fix it, and who screwed up the original installation (and how to report them to the proper authorities). We had them fix it. After chasing the pool tech and Culligan for weeks to get this fixed, C&W had it all done in one morning. This isn't the first time C&W has come in and fixed a problem than numerous other repairmen could not fix (it's the third time they've done it!)

I was glad that they didn't charge extra for Saturday visits but I was in for it!This job took a maximum of TWO HOURS and we were charged $426.00! ! We had a $25-off coupon sent in the mail, which brought the grand total to $400.00! ! My husband and I make far less than $200 per hour ? combined. This was a complete RIP-OFF! I would arrive on time for $200/hour, too.

They were punctual and they basically charged me the same as the estimate they gave me.

They were great. They came out and did the job. They found an additional problem, we did the price on it, and they fixed that and replaced some equipment. They were very pleasant and they were on time. They were very courteous. They came and got the job done. I work from my house and I don't like to be tied down for a period of time. I would have them come back anytime.

They were prompt, cheerful, courteous and very professional. They cleaned up after the job was completed. I've used this company severaly times, which happens when you have an older home and they've always gone above and beyond. They warranty their work and nothing has ever gone wrong. I will use them in the future.

I hired C&W plumbing to replace a cartridge in a bathtub faucet and to add a Pressure Release Valve (PRV) outside of the house. The plumbers replaced the cartridge, but were unable to find the water pipe outside of the house and informed me that they would return another day to search for the line. The only thing is that they were going to charge me $100 per hour to search for this pipe (which should be an easy find), and then an additional $500 to install the PRV. I didn?t agree with possibly being charged several hundred dollars for somebody to walk around in the yard looking for a pipe, so I declined this service. C and W plumbing charged a $35 service call fee, plus $150 to replace the shower cartridge. I had a coupon from their website, so the service charge was deducted from the bill. This item can be purchased for less than $15 at Home Depot and took less than 5 minutes to install. I don?t have much experience with other plumbing companies, but that price seems a bit high.

Arrived on time, very professional plumber with identification. Very honest in determining leak location and giving estimate of cost of repairs.

I had some minor plumbing repairs that needed to be done around the house, mostly leaking faucets. I thought much of the work I could do myslef. However, of particular concern was an outside anti-siphon faucet up against the house wall. I was afraid the house water would have to be turned off; and if there were problems removing the old faucet, I would have to call a plumber anyway. So I decided to call a professional and let them do it all, so if there were problems, they could be fixed right away. I located C&W Plumbing on Angie's list, then called to make an appointment. The plumber (Tommy) called the morning of the appointment and said he was on his way. When he arrived we went through my list of repairs and he gave me a separate price for each one. I ended up authorizing 3 of 5 items on the list. The work was performed efficienlty and effectively. As it turned out, the house water needed to be turned off for the first two repairs on my list. I was very glad Tommy was doing it and not me. I gave C&W a B for price, because some of the prices seemed a bit high, but in all fairness, I don't have a point of reference for what a fair price should be for the service performed. Overall, my experience was a very good one.

They did a great job. They were here a little bit earlier than what they said. They explained to me what they were going to do, told me the cost up front, found the leak quickly, and the fixed it the same day. I was very pleased with them and I will definitely use them again. I?ve had this job done before and C & W did it a lot cheaper than it was before.

Everything turned out fine, the price was a little high but they got the job. They used good parts and were very responsive and good about calling. They were late both times though. I thought what they charged way too much for the sink back up now that I know what it takes to repair it. If I absolutely had to I would probably use them again.

Picked C&W off of Angies List since they were rated well, they are local, and a friend recommended them based on a previous engagement. Spoke with Janice at the C&W office a few times as we worked out the details and quotes. She was very helpful and accomodating. Tim and Sam arrived on time on the scheduled day and got to work immediately. Tim explained the process and updated me as the work progressed. They were finished in about 2 hours. The new toilets work great and they hauled the old stuff away, as well as caulking and cleaning up after.

I was having a issue with a sewer smell in one of my bathrooms and this company was recommended to me by another plumber since the test he suggested I needed was one that his company didn't do so I called C and W. I was already frustrated at the whole situation at my house (to noone's fault) but when I called C and W, the receptionist was WONDERFUL! She not only answered my questions but sensed my stress and was quick to get someone out who just became available. When he (Jason) got there, he, too, was wonderful. He did not believe what I thought needed to be done (which would have cost more money in the end) needed to be done until I had tried something else. I appreciated that! Then if that doesn't work and the more costly issue needs to be done, he spelled out exactly what it would take and what the cost for their company to do it would be. Now, I'm not saying I will use their company - I may see if they have the best price for the work needed - but I will say that they made what was an awful day better - from the receptionist to their tech! That goes a long way with me and really -

They were very good and prompt. They are an incredibly good firm. I have used them about 4 times. They have re-routed pipes under my house and they have cleared out all kinds of plumbing problems. They have even come out on a holiday weeked. You name it, they've done it.

Very pleased. On time, came right out to assess the issue, and had to come back the next day to fix a problem. We would recommend them to anyone.

The repair man arrived and somewhat irritated because I lived so far and he had a bad day already and it was pouring rain where he had initially driven from. I could understand his frustrations. Once he got started on the job, all of his information was thorough and professional. I really appreciated the emergency service and think everything went well.

They ran a snake in the bathroom that wasn't clogged and scratched my commode in the process. They broke branches off my bushes and put holes in them because they were trying to access my drain and didn't reimburse me for that. After using them, I wouldn't recommend them to others because I think they could've done things different. They were nice guys but didn't do everything specified in the contracts including a leak in the kitchen faucet, which is why I signed up for Angie's List.
