We found water dripping from the A/C vent onto our bed. After a few minutes of diagnosing the issue and positioning a large container in the attic to catch the water, I decided to leave it to a plumber to repair it in much less time than I could've done it. I called C&W at 6:51 on a hot Friday evening, knowing the after-hours cost, but anxious to stop the water leak. They had Edward at my house in less than an hour and he proceeded to confirm my diagnosis, and wrote up the cost for me. He was super-nice, very professional, and took care of business in about 1 1/2 hours, while answering all of my questions.

The whole experience from start to finish was outstanding. The work I needed to have done required a Saturday service; however many of the plumbers didn't work on Saturdays. When I called C&W, Rochelle answered the phone and the terrific experience began with her stating..."How can I make you smile". Fortunately there was a cancellation in Plano and the plumber arrived in about 1 hour. His name was Jason and once again he continued with a professional approach to the issue. He was able to resolve the severely clogged drain, but not before having to isolate the problem in the PVC pipe leading to the drain in my bathroom. The price was fair and fully explained before the work even began. C&W should be proud of Jason & Rochelle for representing the company so well. I will definitely recommend C&W. Thank you!!!

I've had work done by C&W twice. They are very responsive and professional, but also VERY expensive for minor/basic repairs because. You basically pay a $49 dispatch fee, and then some pretty astronomical pre-determined "book" rates for any services. They are also detailed and thorough, and everyone you talk to from scheduling to the actual service appointment goes out of their way to provide good customer service If that is of the upmost importance to you, then I would consider. I've had similar work done by two other plumbing companies at about half the cost, but they weren't quite as responsive on the customer service front (still very high quality). On this last trip they did two very minor repairs that totaled maybe $20 in parts if I'm being generous, and it took the technician less than an hour. The total cost was $376 ($341 with a $35 off coupon). Any way you add it up, it was over $300/hour for labor. I had a similar experience when I had them rebuild the internals on two toilets and replace a kitchen faucet. Fast and high quality work, but it worked out to over $300/hour.

We called to have our gas dryer hooked up after purchasing a home. They explained on the phone that there was a $50 service fee to go towards the total fee, but refused to give a quote on what the cost would be. I proceeded anyways because they had good ratings on here and how much could hooking up a hose really be? When he arrived, he checked other parts of the house and tried to upsell about $1,000 worth of stuff around the house. I originally asked to have our dryer hooked up along with screwing in the hoses for our washer and fridgerator since my husband was out town and we were already paying the service fee for him to come out. Well I quickly decided against that because it cost $112 and $157 for those two extra things. To literally screw in hoses. We proceeded to go with the dryer hook up because I already was $50 in with my service fee, but they charge $250 to hook up the gas dryer. It took maybe 15 minutes for him to do it. Seriously a huge rip off. The service technician was nice and did a fine job, but they are seriously a rip off, at least for the small things.

I called C&W on behalf of my neighbor, who was recently widowed. She woke up Friday morning to see water flooding her front yard. I was able to see that it was her main supply line, past the meter and I turned the water off, leaving her without water to the house. Contacted C&W, explained the situation and asked for special consideration. They were understanding and dispatched the first available technician, who arrived @3 hours later. Phil Madden quickly diagnosed the problem and began the repair. His consideration, kindness and professionalism were excellent. He immediately established rapport and trust. He discovered additional problems in the line and repaired them all. All in all, an excellent job by a highly professional and considerate Technician!

I requested C&W come out with the primary goal to address a broken shutoff valve and inspect the other valves. I ended up giving them about 10 things I wanted a quote on. Phil Madden was the primary plumber on the job, he arrived in the standard C&W truck dressed professionally. He was accompanied by an apprentice. The apprentice already had 2 years of experience but Phil did almost all the talking during the inspection/quoting portion. Phil made recommendations on things he saw and provided advice. After reviewing the a la carte quote for various repairs/changes I choose to only have the shutoff valves replaced as one was already broken (stuck open) and the cost was already higher than I expected and this was the primary reason I had a plumber come out. I had 12 valves replaced, all sinks, toilets and dishwasher. Phil identified that one valve was newer than the rest and did not need to be replaced, he also inspected the valves for the washer. Phil and the apprentice went to work, using drop cloths, shoe booties and carefully removing personal items from under sinks. They provided opportunity to use the restroom before turning off the water to the house and whenever they would find something they wanted to point out, they utilized their phones to take a picture for discussion. During the work Phil needed to run to the store to get some parts he didn't have with him for a special case. His estimate on how long he would be gone was accurate. At the end of the job I requested he show me how to turn off the water to the house and he walked me through it and recommended where I could obtain the tool to make shutting off the water easier. (Home Depot $15). Only disappointments were in some of the cost estimates being high (this was my first plumber quote so I don't have something to compare it to). Also, i had wanted to replace the kitchen faucet but he only had 1 style stocked on his truck that matched the finish I needed. Can't be too disappointed since there are a myriad of faucet models and he can only stock so many parts in the truck.

Can't thank these people enough for responding to a weekend emergency issue. The water heater didn't start leaking...it started spraying water everywhere! Luckily, I was able to shut off the water to minimize the damage, but I couldn't wait until Monday for repairs. C & W to the rescue! They are on call 24/7, and they took care of the problem within a few short hours. Yes, there is an extra charge for after hours work. However, I was just glad to find someone who could come at such short notice. I will call them in the future for more routine work as I appreciate the 24/7 access.

I I had originally scheduled another nationally well known plumbing company ( who was on Angie's List with a "B" rating) to give me an estimate and do the work on the same day that the 600 pound refrigerator was going to be installed (the water box needed to be installed first since the plumbers would not have been able to move the 600 pound refrigerator. The plumbing company did not want to give me an estimate over the phone). When the other company showed up they told me they were going to charge $680 for the job!! I knew that was way too high of a price for that job. When I objected to their ridiculously high price, the technician told me he was going to call his manager. After talking to his manager, he told me he was not going to do the job even for that price. I told him I needed to have the job done since the refrigerator was going to be installed in 4 hours and I was willing to pay $680 that they were asking. He still refused to do the job because he thought I was going to give them a bad review for their high price. I immediately called Angie's list and they contacted C&W Plumbing while I was on hold and even thou it was such a short notice, C&W Plumbing technicians came to my house in an hour and they gave me a price of $368 for the same job that the other nationally known company was going to charge $680. They were very professional and completed the job to my total satisfaction. I was so pleased with their price, quality of their work, and their professionalism that I gave them a generous tip. They truly deserved it. I would not hesitate to hire this company for any future plumbing jobs. By the way, I did give the other company an "F" rating for their ridiculously high price and unprofessional ism.

He arrived on time and was very considerate. He did not disturb our landscaping or plants while accessing the cleanout fitting. We were very pleased with the service.

They did the work and finished it to satisfaction. My biggest complaint was how they left the yard. It was a mess, but I understand that it's not their job to put things back they way they were.

I asked for a ballpark price for installing a dishwasher and was told that they do not give prices until the plumber arrives on the scene to evaluates the situation. In good faith I had them come out at which point the plumber immediately without any evaluation opens a notebook with a printed page of installation prices. The price was 3 times the amount I had been quoted by another company! I could have bought another dishwasher. They also immediately tried to up sell us saying that faucets needed to be replaced and they would need to cut the water off at the street (really? To install a dishwasher). I had another company do the install the same day for 1/3 the price and no up sell. BEWARE THIS COMPANY!

I had called several plumbers through Angie'slist they were not able to send anyone out. They said I would have to turn the upstairs AC off in order for it to stop overflowing. It is in the hottest days of the summer right now, and that was not an option for the kids sleeping upstairs. I called C&W Plumbing after normal business hours, and Kay answered. She said she would check availability and call me right back. She did call me right back, and told me she would send Edward over as soon as he was done with the job he was on. She also called back to give me a time frame to let me know when he would be here. Edward arrived and introduced himself, and another co-worker he had with him. They were very professional, and got straight work. They explained to me the initial steps that would be taken and went over pricing with me. They showed me what they found that was causing the problem. I had asked them about another issue I was having with the master shower. They told me they would have to take it apart, take some pictures, get the parts price, and than could quote me an estimate to fix it. I gave them an "A" plus rating in all areas. I REALLY appreciate that were able to come out, and get the problem solved in such short notice! I will be calling them again to follow up with our master shower! Thanks Guys!

Edward and Sirez arrived on time. They brought tools, shower pan into the work area. Worked well together. They dry fit the shower pan, then cut the ABS pipe to proper length. The again did a dry fit on the ABS pipe and shower pan. It was determined that the installation required a mortar bed to be properly installed. They had not prepared for this, but without complaint they went to the local hardware store, bought the mix and installed. Once complete, the removed their tools and other debris. Left the area clean. Good job and I will definitely consider these guys for future needs.

How many clients can call a service and have them arrive in less than an HOUR, especially on a Friday!!! I called C&W Plumbing mid morning and Steve along with Dylan showed up at my door in less than an hour!! They very quickly found the source of the problem, fixed it and were on their way, I was expecting to pay more and was pleasantly surprised at the cost, very affordable. Steve checked the rest of the house and told me where I might have some issues, but nothing that couldn't wait until I was ready. No pressure sales tactics to get me to do it now. I am very pleased with their service!

Provider was very polite and provided fantastic customer service.

It was fine. They were expensive that I only had them find the leak. I used my home warranty to send out a plumber to fix the problem. A friend recommended them. Their service was fine.

Great!! Once I found out my washer was leaking, I contacted the dealer I purchased the washer from only to find out it wasn't the washer, it was the pipes leading to the washer that was causing the water leakage and I needed a plumber I called C&W Plumbing around noon and had a Technician at my door within 2 hours! He checked the area around my washer, but determined it was the piping outside. He climbed my roof in the freezing cold and fixed the problem My thanks to Syrus for doing an outstanding job and explaining to me, step by step what the issue was and how he was fixing it. I really appreciated the quick response time and for Syrus in getting the job done fast. Now I can do laundry. (sigh)

Kory came out and he was great! Very friendly, professional, and courteous. He gave his honest opinion and was patient with all of my questions. I'm not really sure how much a water heater runs for, so I can't really comment on their prices - but I do know our other water heater was past its prime and Kory did a great job replacing it. I would feel good about referring this company, and about using them again!

We were pleased with them. They were on time. They were courteous. They were knowledgeable. They were customer friendly. They gave me the information that I asked for. They held the way and cleaned up after themselves.

The plumbing inside the bathroom wall started spraying water, and I came home to puddles in my bathroom. It was after hours when I called C&W and they responded immediately and sent the technician out right away. It was a complicated fix, as the joint that was leaking was inside the wall, right where the bathroom vanity sidewall met the wall. He carefully removed the door and the doorframe of the vanity so that he could access the leaking pipe and minimized the damage that had to be caused. The repair went quickly and is working well, and it should not be too difficult to fix the vanity and the wall. Other plumbers might have just ripped out the vanity, but he went out of his way to preserve as much as he could. The professionalism, courtesy, and thoughtfulness are as much appreciated as the good work.

It was fantastic. The plumber was able to explain things to me and he has been a plumber for a long time. He got the job done in about 2 hours. The scheduling was good.

They did very well. They were on time and the faucet is still working very well. They did the job while I was not at home and took care of everything. The scheduling was good and everything was done online through emails and the Angie’s List messaging system.
