From the initial phone call for service and the technician's on-time arrival, I received very respectful and courteous information. The crew arrived in uniform with a well-equiped company van, quickly assessed the problem was and got it taken care of. We are in the process of remodeling and plan to eventually replace the entire system, including attic ductwork. Once I conveyed our plans, there was no pressure or sales pitch for more work. They also gave helpful recommendations about the upcoming replacement.

I have been so pleased with my new Trane units and the modifications to my air ducts they added. It was August when we realized two out of our three builder installed AC units were not able to cool. They needed to be replaced. I called 3 contractors. The first gentlemen (not Advent) came and did an OK job of evaluating the living spaces served by the two AC units in question. He gave me a price and then said he couldn't take a run at the owner to lower it if I didn't tell him about lower offers from other contractors. Then Jeff Sutherland with Advent came. Jeff was AMAZING. He performed a detailed evaluation of the areas covered by the new units. He evaluated windows and square footage and it took quite a long time. He performed some kind of analysis of how well the air was moving through the units in the attic and recommended adding additional return air vents. We told Jeff how our family room became essentially unlivable when temperatures reached the 100 and over mark. He recommend some upgrades in the supply tubes to the family room ducts. Advent's estimate for the job was more thorough than the other and came in around $2000 less. And Advent could have the job done the following day! WOW. Incidentally the third contractor I called for an estimate never made it to my house since he arrived while Advent was still at my house and didn't choose to wait around. The Advent team arrived the following day and worked very hard all day until the job was completed. They were exceptionally polite and efficient. Jeff stopped by several times throughout the day. We encountered an error in my circuit breaker box with the builder having installed too small a circuit breaker for one of the units and Jeff recommended a competent electrician who was able to replace the breaker that afternoon. In the 9 months since Advent installed the two new units and upgraded the duct work we have been so comfortable in our house. Our family room now is one of the most comfortable rooms in the house and I can stand near the fireplace and feel the cool air from the vents. Advent really changed the quality of our lives in this house during hot months. Our electric bills are significantly less than they were during similar months the previous year and the outside units are infinitely more quiet than those they replaced. Jeff came by several days after the installation to make sure we were pleased and to check that everything was in order. The work passed the City inspection with no problems. I have been recommending Advent to our neighbors who are also experiencing the end of their AC units' lives. Jeff could not have been more competent, professional, thorough or helpful. We are very pleased Advent customers.

Adam was punctual in coming out to inspect the old unit. He was candid about what he felt to be the best course of action and what size unit to purchase. He actually recommended a smaller unit than what some other companies recommended, based on a complex formula that he used to judge the house's needs. The price was reasonable, though not the lowest. We chose them based on our impression of the salesman as well as recommendation by family members. His crew was professional and efficient, got the entire unit installed in the time promised, and cleaned up effectively. There was only one glitch with the inspection, but Adam came out that day to fix it, and the next inspection went smoothly. We are now 10 months in, and the system is working beautifully. I could not have asked for better service, and will use this company for all future needs, and highly recommend them to anyone else.

Matt showed up right on time. He checked everything on the outside unit of our heat pump & found it to be a simple fix. A capacitor. ($120.00 capacitor + $72.00 diagnostic fee) Matt was a pleasure to be around, polite, friendly & knowledgable. Thank you Matt! & Advert a/c Inc. The first time I met Bobby Barns we just hit it off great. I felt no sales pressure at all, Bobby shoots straight and tells you what is needed and what is a waste of money. From the get go I new that we were in good hands with Bobby and Advent.He was the only Company that had a professional sizing tool on his laptop, put in all information and gave me a printout then and there. All others scratched something on paper and then came the high pressure sales. The attention to detail and the quality of workmanship is the best I have ever had! The AC unit going to the bedrooms coil box was leaking air and collecting moisture and over the years the mold was unbelievable and free flowing mold was blowing directly over us. Matt (Mgr) and Bobby here in Lewisville replaced molded duct work for no additional charge, and Matt gave me over 500 discount after the original discount, with 0% financing for 5 years. And what great people that work there like Carlos and Alex the installers who really take pride in there work. Heck they fit in better than some family members. lol We went from two 13 size units to 16 unit size, variable speed furnaces, ionizer unit for bedrooms in the main duct etc... Alex and Carlos made sure that the only 2 filters were easy to access, the furnaces the mounting, everything in the attic and outside was quality work and quality parts. At first I kinda had the sick feeling spending that much money but at the end I am very glad that we did it. The new units will pay for themselves over time and not that long with old 600+ electric bills in the summer. Before in the master bath you could hear both units compressors just hammering away making the meter spin even faster, now I cant even hear if it is on or off unless I look to see if the running light is on. Advent and the Lewisville team are really the best! This is the first time for me to post anything like this, but was compelled to after the experience with Bobby, Matt, Carlos and Alex! We had a number of AC companies bid on replacing one of our units. All of the companies indicated that changes in the duct work was needed to maximize efficiency. Advent provided the best solution at the best price. We have not had any issues since the installation.

Chris was on time and had covered his shoes with booties. He was very polite and friendly. He answered all of my questions and offered me advice. There was no pressure to upsell me on anything. Hadn't used them before and the coupon plus positive reports was what influenced my decision to try them.

They arrived on time at 9:00 am. I was told it would be a long one day install. About noon one of the workers asked me if they might be able to finish the next day - that it was taking longer than they thought. I couldn't stay home another day from work so they called in two other reinforcements and completed the job by 8:00 that night. All workers were very professional and friendly. The sales person also came by to check on the work - very thorough and diligent. Would recommend them.

Advent Air was on the spot when they said they would be. The The price was fair and the serviceman seemed knowledgeable, but he was FAR TOO chatty and his conversation was political and opionated. We felt he crossed professional lines with his ongoing commentary while we waited for him to finish the payment process.

We have been Advent customers since our house was built in 2005. They installed the HVAC system in our home when it was newly built. Our most recent experience started with a call to the company at 5:30 pm on Friday evening. One of our AC units had stopped working and it was 107 degrees that day. Since they were closed for business, I left a message for their after hours emergency response. I received a call in just a few minutes and they were out to make the repair the next morning. That same weekend on Sunday night our other AC unit went out. Turned out to be a part that had been replaced during a maintenance service visit the prior month. Since the part was under warranty the repairs were made at no cost to me. I called Advent first thing Monday morning and this was repaired the same day. As our house and the HVAC systems are about 6 years old they are starting to need more regular maintenance. We did sign up for a service plan with Advent and found it to be a good value. Being on a service plan also provides priority scheduling. With both of our emergency situations over the past few days, it is impressive how quickly Advent responded. The service technicians (Chris & David) have both done a great job keeping our AC running.

Worked with Bobby Barnes. Entire process from evaluation and sale of system, installation, and walk through was smooth and handled professionally. Call returned promptly, installation completed as agreed and even helped with processing the carrier rebate. Quote comparable to 2 other bids. Overall excellent service and good value with carrier rebate.

The work involved a whole bunch of stuff like cleaning and other such things. I thought they were over-priced. Every time they came out, we had to call them to come back because they left something not working. They would kind of work on our heater and the air conditioner would not work anymore or work on our air conditioner and our heater would not work anymore. We were not happy with them. We would not use them in the future.

They did a good job. They are thorough. We used to be on a contract but they got a little pricey. They have different levels, you can go with a lower one but they are less thorough.

I spent over $15000. They were not cheap, but they were great. They have different offices and I worked with the guys in Lewisville. Their estimators come from one place and the installers come from another. They provided an engineered solution. I would use their services in the future too.

We discovered Sunday evening that our a/c was only lightly blowing air, and it was barely cooler than the house (this on a day that went well over 100). Our house had reached 83 when I called their emergency number and left a message. In less than 10 minutes, we had a call back - a service call at the house is an automatic charge, so he asked if it was all right to troubleshoot over the phone and try to save us that charge. He asked whether we had checked the filter (we had, and had replaced it just in case). He then told us the first steps he would take if he were at our house, which could mean paying him to be there to chip away ice or wait for it to thaw, or how long we could wait after turning it off to allow it to unfreeze, if that were the problem. He specified the scenarios that might occur when we turned it back on after a few hours, and told us what the best next step would be in each case - and at no time did I have the impression he was reluctant to make a house call - he was not rushing us on the phone, either - and all of this was free. We had a moderate back up to keep the house in the low 80's, and we were able to do the first troubleshooting ourselves, so that when I called Monday morning to let them know our situation (and didn't have to pay for an emergency after hours visit), the technician who later arrived was informed on our status and was able to move forward from where we had left off. Additionally, when I called right as they opened I was told the morning schedule was filled but someone would be at our house in the early afternoon. I was welcome to call back at any time, and she would update me on expected arrival time at our house, based on the progress they had made on earlier appointments. About half past noon, I had a call from them that the technician was on his way - I didn't ask from where - and he arrived about 1:15pm, well within the original timeline. He was very professional with a calm friendly demeanor, and went straight to work after verbally confirming what we had already done. He had it fully functional within twenty minutes - we paid for the service call ($120) and the part ($95). He then sat down with my husband and answered his numerous questions for about another twenty minutes regarding how to be prepared for the same issue in future and where we could purchase that part (for less!) ourselves, to store in the furnace closet - if there is one on hand when they arrive, they can use it for the repair and not charge for the part. We received similarly outstanding service last year - entirely over the phone on a weekend, and we were able to fix it ourselves because the emergency tech on the phone asked if we'd be willing to pick up a $.50 item at a Pep Boys in the area. Less than an hour after my initial phone call to them, our a/c was running again, and we hadn't spent a penny more than the trip down the block to pick up the less than $1 part. I cannot praise them enough - their website says service is their highest priority, and that has absolutely been my experience with two totally separate issues over a year apart. Every person I spoke to - the emergency call responder, the receptionist/appointment scheduler, and the daytime service technician - demonstrated fantastic courtesy and professionalism.

Bobby was the person I was dealing with before the install. He performed all of the load calculations and explained everything to me. He was clearly very knowledgeable. He even had the installers widen my ducts at the output of the heat pump in order to provide better flow (for free). The installers were on time, took care of business, and cleaned up everything afterwards. Bobby did a follow-up inspection to make sure everything got installed correctly. Overall, they were lower than most of the estimates I got, and worked with me to setup the install such that I could get the appliance tax rebate. I would highly recommend them.

Did the job in one day, not return visits needed. $1000 less that competition (for not as sophisticated equipment). Not as fancy, over-the top upscale. Just good honest, high quality work at a great price.

They showed right on time @ 7 am in the morning to remove the old unit and the placed a new pad cause the new unit was bigger than the current one, they were performing the installation all day, up in the attic and outside during a 90+ day the completed around 7pm and I?m please to say my electric bill is much better before I had $200+ electric bills now it?s rare that I get above 110. I?m very pleased and I have not has any service issues with them either.

They were very upfront. I checked on everything that they said and it was true. They weren't overly pressure or sales oriented. They left it up to me.

I am satisfied with they're work. I have never had a problem with them and don't think I ever will. My HVAC works well and the only actual work it has ever needed was a filter change 12 months ago.

They always come on time, are clean and neat people. The workers are polite and they have competitive prices. They do excellent work and we have always had good experiences with they company. They have in the past, also installed an air compressor and they did good doing that as well.

The Advent A/C people knew what to do with my problem, which was how to adequately A/C a room over the garage, that has been an A/C problem for a number of years. They installed the new ''Slim Jim'' system in one day. They were pleasant, competent, did the work well, cleaned up the area, both in and out of the house. They went over the instruction on how to use the system in detail.
