Came in at a great price. They suggested we take advantage of 0% financing which we did. The crew including Sara were just great. Very courteous and friendly. They finished in the time frame estimated and the new unit works great. I would highly recommend them.

The Air Conditioning fan failed on the first hot day of the year - it was 96 degrees in the shade. Advent came out and determined that the fan motor had failed and that the condenser might be fried without the cooling effect of the fan. They suggested it might make more sense to replace the unit than repair an old one. A comfort advisor came out and did a very thorough analysis of what replacement unit we would need. As we were in stay at home mode because of the Covid-19 problem, we were reluctant to have a sales advisor come into our home. Sara arrived with a mask and gloves on and also brought in air purifier which would knock down any virus on a surface or in the air by contact. We were relieved that she came so prepared recognizing the concern about the virus. She did a thorough evaluation of our needs and prepared four proposals to replace our failed unit. Very professional and very well done. Note: we hired Advent to replace the builder installed units in 2008 and were very impressed at that time that they were able to recommend units that were what each segment of the home required. Service since then has been excellent, so we were interested in having an Advent solution. We ended up repairing the condenser unit rather than replacing it.

In the infamous words of the president, Mike Douglas of Advent Air, “Quality does not just happen, quality is a choice made by our attitude of pride and caring. We must strive for excellence to truly obtain quality.” Unfortunately the quality of which he speaks apparently does not flow into customer service. The workmanship is okay, but the charges associated with being here are sooo overcharged. We have been a customer of AA for more than 7 years and unfortunately we fall prey to their excessive charges. Every time our maintenance agreement ends we end up paying about $75 a minute for repairs. I am not kidding. Our service guy shows up and 4 minutes later is done replacing a wire that a critter chewed on and we owe $218. Or this week a capacitor went bad on the compressor and we had to pay $239 for the technician's 3 minutes of work. I have called AA to speak with the manager, director or even president and each time they tell me someone will call but it's been 5 days and no one cares enough that a repeat customer with a complaint is worth talking to. They leave you with paperwork that says "with our compliments, here is a check for $25 to use towards your next service" but they don't actually leave the check. Then when you want to use it the next time, they say "Do you have the number on the check?" and of course with no check - no discount. We are extremely unhappy with the customer service we have received. Unfortunately, we have another new A/C system installed by Advent Air so we are stuck having to use them should something arise where warranty work would be an issue. ARGH!!!! Ask questions before you book; be prepared to never get answers when you need them. There is no accountability in the office staff.

I was totally amazed at the value I paid for the unit as well as the performance. I have never had a better installation by any contractor. I would highly recommend Advent Air to everyone who needs air conditioning help.

We found the company's rep to be very timely and professional. He went over all his calculations and presented us with a package that included 4 options for our system replacement. We discussed all 4 options and were able to chose a better unit than expected system due to their rebate from the manufacturer and the o% financing offered. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

Advent Air did a very good job on replacing our air conditioner, furnace, and air ducts. Jeff Sutherland came out and spent several hours evaluating and proposing a new system for our house and was very pleasant to work with. The installation went well and we are very pleased with the results.

My wife and I were put in contact with Advent Air through a program at Sam's Club. We had been contemplating having our duct work replaced and possibly our entire system due to the previous owner's smoking for 20 years, and obvious 'southern engineering' of the system. The last contractor we had gotten a quote from had been a fast talking, fly by night operation that nearly ripped us off. Imagine our surprise, when Cris McCown showed up, and put us at ease with his professionalism and expertise. This guy went so far as to wear shoe covers in the house at all times, and answered all of our questions with no hesitation. Cris was able to provide an in depth and comprehensive recommendation of the work needed and cost break down before he left. To be honest, even though we were impressed, the price was quite a bit more than we had hoped for. Cris followed up with us in a couple weeks, but was never pushy or obnoxious. As a couple months came and went, we decided we needed to get the work done despite not having had a chance to get more bids. The follow up bid on work was just as extensive and included the latest specials and promotions on price. Our rep even did the leg work in helping us secure excellent financing for the job. The techs called an hour or so before arriving and did an excellent job. The entire duct work, system installation, and cleanup was started at 10am and finished by 5pm the same day. The techs were friendly, spoke English, answered all our questions, and worked their tails off. When the city inspector came by a few days later, he had nothing but high praise for the quality of the job done. From the initial consultation, installation, and final follow up, these guys were awesome. Thanks Advent, and we'll definitely recommend you to everyone we know.

Really disappointed in their Customer Service. My air conditioner has been a problem off and on for a few years and it has been patched. Last night, it finally died and is beyond repair, so I gave Advent a call. My warranty is less than a month expired and they are not willing to discuss a discount or coverage or anything. I know it is expired but no consideration of pain and suffering (and cost). This system has been a pain for awhile but I know I won't be having Advent install a new one.

On price, they were very competitive. One thing about pricing is, i'm a believer in you get what you pay for. They were not the cheapest, they were not the most expensive. But they were fair. I have somewhat of a background in the field, so watching what they were doing in how they did their work - very well done. On communication, excellent. They have a great system set up. They stick to their commitment. They notify you a half hour or so before coming out. A driver or technician will call you to say they are on my way. Well done. All of their technicians are certified, so that's a big plus.

They did a great job, and they did follow up. If we had any problems, they came out to fix them quickly. The worker that came out to look at the job and give the estimate was excellent at explaining exactly what needed to be done, and he was very professional.

This is a year contract fee of $500.

We used them at our previous home. Our existing house is a two-story house so we had two full units of everything. An improvement they could make would be air/temperature balancing in the system. I know their price was a little high, but they are very reliable and their service is always very good. They are great for service and wonderful for support during regular hours or off hours. They will even assist you over the phone if they can't get somebody out there right away. If you are willing to do walk through testing on your system they will walk you through it over the phone. They are wonderful for service.

Half of what they did they addressed very quickly. The other part not quite as well. I think they were having trouble figuring out what the problem was with the air conditioning. They are normally stronger than that. They are always very good on professionalism.

The tech did not perform all the work described in the deal, plus he gave us the incorrect diagnosis of the problem.

Praimesh Ganesh is an employee we have dealt with several times; he is great! Arrives on time and notifies us of any delays; soft-spoken, takes off his shoes entering the house, gets right to work and is very knowledgeable. Overall, Advent personnel have been courteous, professional, thorough in their work and very helpful advising us what to do as homeowners. We highly recommend them.

They are always responsive and professional. Thomas and Praimesh are the technicians we normally have and they are excellent. The office staff is also excellent. I highly recommend this company

Advent did an excellent job replacing my 20 year old AC system. They were on time, had reasonable prices, did what they said and offered improvements to my existing ductwork to improve the system.

Perfect. Installation was performed cleanly, on-time, and on-budget. They cleaned up after their work as if they'd never been in the house. System works like a charm. Looking forward to the electricity savings in the coming summer cooling season.

The system quit working the night before, saturday August 1. We waited until daytime hours the next day to call. I called about 7am, since they said they have 24 hour service. I waited and didn't hear back for a while, so I called again, a second number I found on their website and left another message. A few minutes later the tech, Praimesh called me back. He had actually gotten the first message, but I wasn't sure, since I hadn't heard from them. He said he had a few other calls in my area and came to my house next. Once he arrived, he found the start up capacitor had failed and replaced it. He also recommended replacing the air filter, up on the unit in our attic. I was unaware there was a filter up there. He did that for no additional charge. We were very pleased with his polite, professional attitude and prompt service. We plan on buying one of their service agreements, to take care of the system going forward.

I contacted the company for a free estimate for a new HVAC via their website and was contacted promptly to set up a time. The inspection of my home was done very detailed. Jim the consultant answered all questions and did not pressure me to purchase new system. My system was getting old and not efficient, therefore I decided to go with one of the quotes I was given. Installation was scheduled within the next few business days. Eduardo and Erik called prior to showing up at my house early in the morning and got right to work at the time they said they would arrive. They were very polite and hard working. It was a 100 degree day, and they did not complain once and still took pride in their job. The installation took longer than I thought, but due to the hot temperature that day; I could understand. I was pleased that the work was not rushed. After installation; I was walked through the system and shown the system. This company is maybe cost more than other companies would have charged, but I wanted a company that had a good reputation in DFW and that stood by taking pride and quality in their work and customer service. I was very satisfied from the time I contacted Advent, till the time the installation was complete. I would highly recommend Advent for their services.

Compressor on old Trane unit went out and recommendation was to purchase new unit. Jeff visited on a Sunday to quote the system and he did a complete air/heat balance on the system to verify proper ducting. This visit took quite a while (2+ hours) but I was very impressed with the detailed analysis. Very pleasant to work with. He recommended an additional return for the new unit to be installed. We discussed other areas of the house and I mentioned two additional rooms (on separate AC units) that we were unhappy with the performance. He made reasonable recommendations for additional ducting on those problems as well. Sales pitch was minimal, I felt that he was straightforward with me and offered a fair price (though I suspect not the cheapest price). Installation occurred two days later and went very well. The crew of two took about 6 hours to install the system. Very professional and courteous. I could not ask for more. They accommodated my observations and questions without hesitation. I had another similar Trane system (although slightly lower SEER rating) installed by another contractor a few years earlier and paid about $1,500 less. But I did not get any of the air balance calculations done (and in fact Advent added additional ducts to that system on this visit to correct balance problems). So I suspect that you could find a cheaper price out there, but I am very happy with the service and price that I received with Advent. I think that the expertise is worth paying a bit more. And the best part is that all of my systems are now working better than ever. I would definitely use Advent again.

The technician, Thomas, was outstanding. He showed up at 6:30am, exactly as promised after being called at 11:00pm the night before. He did NOT bump the fee for emergency or overtime hours. In addition to good service, it's nice to get a polite, personable person when an A/C is down during August in Texas! He even petted the dog.

My issue with Advent is lack of transparency in their pricing and not with the quality of the repair. I called Advent to come out and perform a very small repair. I was led to believe it would be one price but ended up paying something very different. In addition, according to the brochure they left with me, they have some of the highest prices I've seen for annual maintenance packages. I will not be using them again in the future. 9/13/2014: In response to the information provided by the company, I NEVER requested a diagnostic. I was very specific on the repair I wanted performed. They also did not ask at the time I set the appt if I had one or two units. However, the tech told me it would just be the same quoted charge repeated if I wanted the second unit repaired. That is the amount I approved; NOT A DIAGNOSTIC ON BOTH UNITS. I believed I would be paying around $150 dollars and the total ended up being twice that amount because the tech performed work that I had not authorized.

His professionalism and Advent's sales and marketing materials presented in a nice folder is what made the differences for me. Miguel and crew were very courteous and professional. They showed up on time and competed the job as promised. I was pretty much in their shirt pocket watching the performed work and learned without a doubt that they take pride with what they do and realize how important their commitment is at keeping their company's top notch reputation secured.
